  I am trying to create a configuration of open connections of variable shared using the programming API. It seems to me that the cleanest way to do would be to put one "open and check" routine in a loop, then call it for each variable in the library.

  What I ended up doing was doing a Subvi to open, read, write, and close each data type, I use the packaged in 4 polymorphic SubVIs (polymorphic Open, read, etc...)

  Now all I have to do I drop in the polymorphic Subvi and it switches automatically to the appropriate data type

  Hi guys, I found the error. Here's the correct code:

  I put the apostrophe before | and the column name (parameter) and doble single quote in varchar where clause. Double quotation mark, 2 times the apostrophe. Easy to understand hope.

BTW, the BI Publisher on this machine works correctly.

  Not able to open the IAM blog you referred to above.

  Make sure that you have deployed the analyticsRes component as shown in http://www.oracle.com/webfolder/technetwork/tutorials/obe/fmw/bi/bi1113/customizing_obiee11g/customizing_obiee11g.htm. Create a folder called produced under analyticsres and start accessing images.

• Problems with dynamic selection lists in IE7

  I have a list of dynamic selection populated by a SQL Server database.
  
  I want to select all the items in the list if you have selected a particular item. The code I wrote works fine in Firefox, and I'm assuming that other browsers as well. It does everything not in IE and the specific test does not not in IE7.
  
  I can't use the fix suggested for my last question, because this time I want all of the selected options and selectedIndex applies only to a single option.
  
  Any ideas on what I can do to make it work in IE7?

• dynamic selection list hangs with php

  I can't get a list of dynamic selection of work in dreamweaver. It completely crashes whenever I try to add to my page. I found someone else in the forum who had the same problem, but no one ever answered. I've tried several things, including putting just the dynamic record and select on its own page with no other code in this regard. He always breaks DW. I also tried this coding myself by making a listmenu and change it so that the value of the option equals a value PHP echo. It crashed too much here. Does anyone have a piece of code with a selection list dynamic work that uses a recordset that I could look at? This way I can see where I am going wrong. All I'm trying to do is to get a simple drop-down menu select list of employee names, so anyone can choose their name for advice. This is a table, a set of records 2 fields (first and last name).

• Action dynamic apex on popup lov

  I have a popup lov in apex 4.1.1.00.23, I want to put some values after the selection of an item from the LOV. That is, select a certain customer and set variables based on customer ie customer...

  I created a dynamic value on the evolution of the popup lov, but we note the change on the selection of a different value.

  If I save the form and then come back shows the correct data, not just directly after changing the value after the value in the LOV POP.

  Dynamic value is triggered on the evolution of the LOV POP to set some values, but it does not work!

  Create a dynamic action advanced popup lov

  Event: change

  Select a Type: element

  Element was the popup lov

  No condition

  Now to update the items, I used the set value

  Action: value

  Parameters: Sql statement

  SQL code

  In page items to submit (popup lov name), it's the part that I had not before!

  Item is updated.

  I can't create a dynamic action to set a value. I have used dynamic actions to hide and display areas but for some reason any cannot set a value.

  I have a list of selection-> P101_LIST. Type of source is "Column of the database". Source of value or an expression is "person_id" the query is as follows:

  Select first_name, person_id
  From Persons
  

  I have a display-> P101_DISPLAY value. Source type is 'static Assignment. The source value or expression that I left blank.

  I would like for each time the user selects a name of P101_LIST, the P101_DISPLAY element is updated to display the value (person_id) correspondent.

  Because there are other page elements / information on the page, I prefer that to not submit / update of the page. Would not want other page elements / information update.

  Any help on this would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

  I have a dynamic action that fires the PL/SQL. It is about 'change' DA for item P1_INPUT.

  It triggers the PL/SQL code

  Now, I want to hear this change (in question (P0_ITEM_CONTROL) in my external JS.

  Of course, in that you can only listen for the changes that have been made by typing the entry itself, so I have to add another REAL action that fires the code JAVASCRIPT and trigger the change manually.

  First one that comes to mind is to create a DA who listen to change everything I want my JS to trigger. Then trigger manually there from there.

  Then come from your other thread, I take back what I said - I have messed up. I felt pretty sure the plsql execute did not have the change event, but I was wrong - I checked once again after the other thread. Since you're using two versions of jquery your question is exactly the same in this thread as what you experience with the popup lov! Use apex.jQuery to listen for the event changes and you will be fine, since the action of plsql execute trigger changes on 'elements to return'!

• Conditional display of links - using dynamic application example "Actions".

  I have a similar to the one shown on the page need delete and refresh the application "Sample of dynamic Actions" on Apex.Oracle.Com.  However, in my case, the application must be selective.

  How can show us the cross out 'X' for people in the SALES Department.

  I tried this using a case statement to return the EMP_IDS for people in the SALES Department and NULL values for all others (in a new column called Sales_Emp_IDS.  My attempts failed but that each record in this new column shows red X if the emp in the sales department or not.

  Integrated support in cascade LOV is addressed in the documentation.

• How to change the values of a from the values selected in another LOV LOV

  I have a requirement in the ADF where there are two LOVs. The values in the second LOV based on the values that I selected in the 1st LOV should change dynamically.
  In addition, the 1st LOV accepts 3 values for each value that I select, a different query is executed to fill the 2nd LOV.
  I have a gross thought I can use 3 different read only view objects containing these 3 queries. And according to the value that I select in the 1st LOV I can run the object matching the view of the bean to support. But my doubt is how to link the results of this query that is executed to fill the 2nd LOV.

  Kouadio,

  All your queries based on the table? If Yes, you can use a variable binding for the lov attribute relative to the query to run on the LOV child.

  If they are based on different tables, you can create 3 different lovs for the child attribute and select what lov seem based on the parent attribute.

  I want to collect information about a feature, but according to the value of an attribute from entity level - I want to make the selection of the value of the attr - dynamic level entity.

  Entity: the children

  Entity-Attr: the child's toy

  -So if I add x 2 instance child
  

  Child Instance #1: "Tom", "Male", I would require his drop down list for a toy to be like "Action Man", "Spider Man" on the screen for the user to select

  While:

  Child Instance #2: "Jenny", "Female", her drop down list for the child's toy would consist of: "Barbie", "Justin Bieber CD's"

  You would not be able to ask sex and toy preferred on the same screen without a 'submit', unless you use javascript. Assuming that it is acceptable to ask the names of all the children and women on a screen (i.e. in collecting entities) and continue to ask questions about the favorite toy of each child on a separate screen, you can take advantage of the screen definitions and screen flow to achieve this without any programming.

  Basically, you need to set the following:
  -an entity collect the screen for children that you collect the name and gender of each child
  -a 'male_toys' screen requesting favorite toy to the child and who uses a choice list that contains only the 'male' toys
  -a 'female_toys' screen that asks favorite childhood toy and that specifies the list "female toys."
  -define a global screen flow that has first collects 'children' is evolving into the "flow of child", then ends.
  -define the workflow of the child to begin with a decision point based on the sex of the child which is progressing towards the male sex toys to screen if = 'male' or the female toys screen if = "female".
  -Add the overall flow to the summary screen of the evaluation so that an interview is initiated by starting the overall throughput (you want to force a stream of screen to use to undertake the interview to make you progress in automatic screen based on the pursuit of a goal)
  -Also to note: you probably want to shoot left alternative in the child_toy_male and child_toy_female so that it is clear what child screen wonders about the screens.
