  So, here you wrote each row of this column in the text file, with line breaks if the lines have line breaks in them; If not, no.

  So here you create a string huge column consisting basically of the full-text file. But readLine() is to throw the line breaks for you. Were you aware of that?

  Of course not. readLine() threw away, and you don't put back them. Also, I don't understand the logic of writing on the entire cell by cell file but by importing the Assembly as a single file and waiting for the result to be the same. It will not.

  It is not correct, because it (a) place a new line at the beginning of the text and (b) does not a newline at the end of the text. Move the newline at the end of the statement: jcolstring + jfileline + "\r\n".

  I'm working on an application with Flash and AS3. I am dynamic import text with XML through PHP MySQL database. So far, I had all this work.

  Although the available character set appears to be very low. I have to be able to use characters such as e (HTML eacute) and o (ouml HTML) and others that are widespread in the Netherlands. Anyone know how to get these characters working?

  I spent days trying to fix this... including many hours of trawling the web, but nothing helped so I hope some of you can help out.

  I have a site that compiles to Actionscript 2.0 and Flash player 8.  This site uses the XML output from ASP.Net pages of database-oriented.

  The problem I have is basically where I have a tabstops set, in some cases, where the text from the first tab stop is over a certain length, a unwanted line break is released just before the last word in the entry.  (I know it's always the last word if I put a word on the end of the word chain that was originally on the new line being back in its place - so it doesn't seem to be associated with length).

  Indeed, what I want is as follows:

  Header1: descriptive text in the header 1-tete2: Description 2 header

  header3: Description 3 header4 header: header text 4

  text description here on multiple lines

  I mean, it is something like this:

  In order to get the CSS work around the dynamic text field settings, I use an empty TextFormat object tFormat.  The XML is loaded with ignoreWhite set to true.

  Anyone any ideas?  Or I do not see the wood for the trees?

  New to first...

  I can create a static title without any problems and as well to animate it.  My challenge is that I don't know how the first manages text effects.  I can't understand how to do something as simple as have several bullet point text dissolve of lines on the screen in the order. I use a few "Pro-sumer" software video editing with all sorts of creative text effects.  But, I get more large projects that require more sophisticated tools, so I jumped on the first.  I watched all the videos on the web "creation of text"... impossible to find something on this topic to the Prime Minister.  Help, please!

  Meg answer is technically correct, but a lot of your time, especially if you have to re-do something later.

  When I have the multiline text that I don't want to animate with After Effects, I create text on a title, and then I copy and paste from there to place its own title of each line of text.

  Then I put all these titles on the timeline, stacked in layers, one over the other.

  From there, I can change the time where each line of text within the framework. I can use normal transitions to do this, wipe, dissolve, or push. My most recent favorite is IMPACT PUSH, which you can get for free, here: https://www.filmimpact.net/plugin/transition-pack-1/

  Indeed, After Effects is the best option by far, if you want to do anything fancy or cool.

  Well, if your 'chapter' and your 'jon doe' is in the separate text boxes, then there is no easy way to do it. (You could draw a bunch of lines dotted, which isn't difficult, but the only way to standardize manually drag the lines around).

  However, if "chapter" and "jon doe" is in the same text box, separated by a tab character, then it is quite easy. Have you used a ruler before tab? This gives a test:

  (1) type a brief sample in a text area, like the one in your post, but instead of separate columns with points, simply use a single tab

  (2) select all text

  3) go to the Type-> tabs

  (4) I hope it sounds familiar to you (probably from MS Word, or maybe using a typewriter) but otherwise,.

  (4A), click once on the sovereign to insert a tab stop

  4 (b) type a question in the area of 'leader', and

  4 c) press Tab or Enter to confirm

  FYI, it's what you want, a 'leader' or a 'leader of dot. Knowing that he has called a "Chief" will help you find it in InDesign help.

  I need to create a grid with also spaced columns and lines, so what I need basically is the ability to divide an image vertically in a certain number of measures, something similar to the input field "number of columns" for a text block.

  Currently my solution is to create a text frame, rotate 90 degrees and then apply the command "number of columns" to the desired vertical subdivisions number, I need (I liked this option cos' it provides a gutter between the lines). Is there something faster?

  1. Set up the column width on this page for the value you need for spacing.
  2. Draw a frame chassis/graphic rectangle/text and
  3. When you draw (do not release the mouse button) works with the arrow keys up and down.

  Or go to layout > create the guide lines and add your values and draw your rectangles between these guidelines.

  Declaration of im trying to write a multi-line error message in the Validation Script Message to a textfield, but every time that I hit, I find myself at the front of the current line instead of a new line.  I also tried \n with no luck.  The only way I have found is by entering the text in Notepad, then cut + paste into the Message of Script of Validation box.  Is this a bug with the Designer?  I have Designer ES 8.2.1.3158.1.475346.
