  You asked and I answered. The event would be to click (if you sort there is no change).

  The action is what you specify. It could be an update of the region as well.

• How to create dynamically sorting table?

  For example, I have a table with 2 columns: 'Name', 'value x; and 1 table with columns 'name' value 'y' (which is based on the value of x + a formula). What I want to achieve is to get table2 sorted whenever I change value in table1. The "Filter/Sort" tool only applies sort once and doesn't react to any changes made to the table 1.

  I don't know how the practice is (I find it easier at the station just manually), but here's a way to generate an array sorted automatically.

  Add a column "index" for the value of Y in the same table (this can be hidden if you want) with a formula like this:

  

  The formula in C2, filled to the bottom:

  = B2 + 5 + LINE () / 10000

  The idea is to calculate Y using some formula that you use and then add a very small number based on the number of line so that it becomes a unique value that can be used for searches, even when the same value 'original' appears more than once.

  Then in column B of the table "Sorted" list the values for Y in Crescent order like this:

  

  The formula in B2, filled to the bottom:

  = SMALL (Table 1: $C, ROW (−1))

  And, finally, to get the name corresponding to this value of Y as this:

  

  The formula in A2, filled to the bottom:

  = INDEX (table 1: $A, MATCH (B2, table 1: $C, 0))

  Now, whenever you change a value in the column X, "Sorted" table is automatically sorts.

• How can I force sort a digital table

  I use a numbers spreadsheet [Version 3.6.2 (2577)] on a [Version OS X El Capitan 10.11.3] IMac for the sorting of items in stock by using our own numbering system.  For example 5/132/5 or 5/39/2 when I sort the tables using ascendant stock numbers does not recognize five, one hundred thirty-two, five (5/132/5) is more than five, thirty-nine, two (39/5/2) and he puts the reduction in the lowest number of the list.  Obviously the indexing works by placing the numbers starting with a higher than those starting with three.

  My question is how can I force to recognize my numbering system and index it properly.  I tried to format the data in the cells as 'automatic', 'number', 'breaking' and 'system', but nothing seems to work.

  Numbers of sees 5/1 and 5/3 and (correctly) sorts the 5/1 to go first.  Because of your item number format, you may need to set up an index to sort column.  What is your global numbering system?

  You've probably found a matrix of zeros because you are an iteration of the inner loop once or several times.  Change line 9 to 'for (j = 0; ". j<(sizeArr-1);j++)".  this="" should="" give="" you="" correct="">

  This algorithm is very inefficient (O(n^2)).  I would say quite simply using the antiderivative of "Sorting" 1 D native table.

• JDEV 12.2.1 sorting on a table

  We have improved our 11.1.2.3 app to 12.2.1 recently.

  If we have a table on the page and sort on a column, then the sorting works but it's really really slow. Anyone know what is the problem? or any solution to this problem?

  Turn journaling on the ADF BC layer to see the SQL code that is emitted from the DB for this table, then get your DBA to watch the execution plan for such a declaration of SQL on the DB.

  I guess that indexes and statistics on the table may need some tuning.

• Cannot sort the results table using datetime attribute

  I use short 3.1. My result table disappears when I try to sort by using a date/time attribute. I also saw him sometimes throw me an error: in ORDER BY clause: ORDER BY clauses may refer only to the attributes set in the same statement.   as a dynamic. Because according to users, we have to get the chronogram different objects in different point of view. I tried with below link it works very well for forms.

  But editable tables, I'm not able to create the dynamic lov.

• Dynamic context ADF on Table menu

  Hi all

  I am interested in similar Jdev12c for the context menu dynamic as shown in the Table demo dynamic context Menu for example. I tried to implement, but do not have access to half of EL expressions mentioned in the source of this page, as "#{dynamicContextMenuTable.data.rowData}" or "#{dynamicContextMenuTable.alertRowData}". Or did the example is correct for 12 c but I'm badly understand something here?

  Now, I want to create a Dynnamic RTF report which made extracting data from all columns from my_table daily. For this, I have defined a simultaneous program with XML output type and include in annex a data/definition of data model that takes XML as input and gives the final result of the conc program in EXCEL layout. I am able to do that for a constant number of columns, but don't know how to do it when the number of columns to display dynamically changes.

  For 1 day my XML file should be like this.

  Now, I don't know below things.

  • Make the dynamic XML as we did in the day 1 there are 3 columns in the SELECT statement and the day 2, 5 columns. I want to create a dynamic XML which must not be changed if the new columns are added into my_table. I don't know how to create this query and also create their corresponding items below.
  • Make the RTF model dyanamic as day 1 there are 3 exit EXCEL columns and the day 2, 5 columns. I want to create a dynamic RTF model that would display all the columns selected in XML dynamic. I don't know how the RTF will create new XML tags and how it will know where to place them in the report. Means, I can create model RTF day 1, by loading the XML data for 3 columns and place 3 tags XML in the model. But how he will create and place the tags for the new columns the day 2?

  Hope so, you got my requirement, it's difficult. Please let me know how I can implement the necessary solution using the RTF dynamically without any manual intervention.

  Hi guys,.

  I was able to solve above the requirement.

  I created a procedure that would create & update (attached to the data definition) XML file dynamically for each race. This dynamic XML contains the SQL statement for the data query that is built dynamically. I am updating this XML file using XDOLoader utility to the definition of data. Then run my program customized to generate the excel output.

  Exit excel retrieves correct number of columns dynamically (3 on Day1 and Day2 5), with corresponding data records.

  These records have different 'Status', defined as a "rejected", "approved" or "pending".
  What is the most logical version to have a view just for pending, rejected, or approved.
  
  I tried to create an action dynamic in combination with 3 buttons named "Refused to show", "Approved for the Show", "Show pending" and the SQL table.

  but this is the only data containing the status 'pending', is well, but how do I fix the SQL when I refused and also approved?

  I want to make some kind of query to join on the two tables where the query arguments are: rangefirst and: rangelast for 2 authornames, where I want to catch all bookauthors authorname between implicit, sorted, and then join the table books to fetch the booktitle and bookid and the authorname, and authornames which are the same also sort the product join by booktitle to the Books table.
  
  I hope it's possible!
  
  NOTE: there no foreign key relationship, so if a line of BookAuthor bookid value that does not exist in the table of books, I don't want a line into the product.
