E-mail message from Apple Inc.

When I send a message via e-mail, the message appears in the account of the receiver as coming from Apple Inc.. Any idea what I need to change to fix this?

Mail > Preferences > accounts > select the account that you use in the left hand column > check full name is what you expect it to be.

  • delete e-mail messages from context menu

I am running Windows 7 Home Premeum 64-bit with service pack 1.

I'm trying to delete e-mail messages from the context menu when right clicking on an image.

I have AT & T Yahoo! as my e-mail provider that is NOT an option available to Windows, so I can't use the option of e-mail anyway.

Given the unusable option is distracting and often gets clicked by mistake while trying to save an image to disk.

Please let me know how to solve this problem.

  • Message from Apple about the IPHONE 5 optimization

I just received the following message from Apple after updating our application from a standalone application to a newspaper kiosk application successfully. Although our update of the app was approved and is now online, I don't know if that has no effect on the direct kiosk application?

    Dear developer,

We found one or more problems with the delivery of your recent to 'startupBahrain '. Your delivery was a success, but you can fix the following problems in your next delivery:

iPhone 5 optimization requirement - your binary is not optimized for the iPhone 5. Since May 1st, all the new iPhone apps and updates of application submitted must support the screen 4 inches on the iPhone 5. All applications must include a picture of launch of the appropriate size. Learn more about support for the iPhone 5 in reviewing the iOS Human Interface Guidelines.

If you want to update your binary for this application, you can refuse this binary of binary details page in iTunes Connect. Note that reject your binary will delete your app to the queue of the review and the review process will start again when you return your binary.

    Can you please specify?

With the next version of May 1, DPS App Builder will include a parameter required for a launch image 640 x 1136 (also called a "splash screen"). The next time that you update your application, include this image. You can also build a rendering 1136 x 640 when the tools are updated to avoid the black bars on the iPhone 5.

  • Import e-mail messages from Windows mail to outlook 2007

I damaged an old laptop and the hard drive is now in a case that I can access via USB.

I want to transfer my emails from WIndows Mail in the old hard drive to Outlook 2007 into my laptop current. How to do this please?

    Hi Tony,.

You can always open Windows mail? In this case: the open, select the e-mail messages you want to copy, create a folder on a USB or other portable device, paste messages, transport the unit, open, select all the messages and copy it (ctrl + c), then paste in Outlook.

The official way would be: file, import and Export Wizard. But I'm sure you will all future posts.

Either way, this also happens on my ipad.

    Thank you.

You can move it to another folder.

  • Save the photos in an e-mail message from an Apple device.

When someone sends me an email with pictures displayed in the e-mail, not as an attachment (usually an Apple device) I can't back up or do something with them, except the copy - but where do they go in windows when you copy them.  You are not prompted to save anywhere and I can't find them.

When you right click on the image what options do you have. In my case I'm getting that copy, after selecting that I then open Paint and select Paste and the image is in the Paint window.

From there, I can choose it Save (save as) and change the file format, record the location and name.

  • Import e-mail messages from Outlook Express in Windows Live Mail?

I have recently moved to a new PC with Win7 and have been using Live Mail - more often with success, I thought with the exception of one or two faults, but I'll probably post a question on those.
On the audit of my old PC today, when I open Oulook Express have been downloaded more than 100 emails that have not appeared in Live Mail - dating back to the time I went.
I tried to export these messages of OE, put it on a USB key and then import in LM LM do not seem to recognize them - these are the dbx files. Suggestions anyone please?
    Thank you in advance.
    Jeff.

If both computers use the same e-mail address, you must do this to get the messages on both.

On both machines: tools | Accounts | Mail | Properties | Advanced - Check: leave a copy of messages on the server.

On a single computer only, make sure to delete messages after X days to satisfy your allocated space that you get from your server.
    *********************************************
Transfer of data from Outlook Express and Windows Live Mail:

    For Messages:

Copy the * ENTIRE * OE message store folder to a flash drive. (Folders.dbx must be included). Place it on the desktop or another location on the computer using WLMail. Open WLMail and: file | Import | Messages | Microsoft Outlook Express 6, and the point where it was saved.

    Location of OE message store:

In OE: Tools | Options | Maintenance | Store folder will reveal the location of your Outlook Express files. Note the location and navigate on it in Explorer Windows or, copy and paste in start | Run.

In Windows XP, Win2K & Win2K3 the OE user files (DBX and WAB) are by default marked as hidden. To view these files in Windows Explorer, you must enable Show hidden files and folders under start | Control Panel | Folder Options icon | Opinion, or in Windows Explorer. Tools | Folder options | View.

    For addresses:

Open the address book in OE and file | Export | Address book (wab) and save it to the desktop. Copy it to a flash drive. Place it on the desktop or another location on the computer using WLMail.

Open the Contacts list in WLMail, (go |) Contacts in the Menu bar) and the file | Import | Address book (wab) Windows and the point where you saved it.

Note: If you use a CD or a DVD instead of a flash drive, after placing on the new machine you must remove the read-only attribute in the properties before you import.

    For the account settings:

In OE: Tools | Accounts, select the account and export it to the desktop. This will be an .iaf file. Copy it to the new computer and WLMail desktop: tools | Accounts and import the settings from the location you saved the.

WLMail specific help, please use this forum.

If you just need to transfer these 100 messages, put a Windows folder on the desktop. Drag the messages of OE this folder. Copy the folder on the new machine and drag the messages into a folder of WLMail.
  • Why do I get e-mail messages from Motorola owners Forum to update my status?

Did anyone else get these annoying messages?  And what status am I suppose to update?

Your 'status', AFAIK, is similar to a Twitter or Facebook status and appears on your forum profile page. (Click on your avatar or name to get there.) The status appears under your name. You can click on the "Update" link to set it. I have no idea if she appear anywhere else; I have not seen anywhere, nor have I really gone looking to see if it gets posted anywhere else. I'd say it's safe to ignore these guests to date, however, unless you really want to.

Like to get rid of the emails... I have not tried, but there is also a configuration called profile "we might want to e-mail, say, if the site goes down. OK? "This is distinct from the marketing/support settings" can we ask you for feedback on your phone? "and" would you like to receive product info/e-mail Promotions? "My guess is that this setting is suitable for communications board admin-user, which may (or may not) include these status emails. I have not tried it myself, but you might see if disabling this setting stops the Board of Directors of sending these messages.

  • Windows Live Mail not send or receive e-mail messages from a Hotmail account

I hope that this has not been answered previously, I searched the site for answers, but nothing helped.

    Quick description of the problem:

As a result of an impending change of internet service provider & lose the long date E-mail address associated with the supplier, thought that it is appropriate to create a Hotmail account to avoid losing another email address in the future.

Windows Live Mail 2012 is not playing ball, but when you add the Hotmail account details that have been set up, I get an error message which is: -.

Can't send or receive messages for the Hotmail account (NRaccts).

    Server error: 3219
    Server: 'https://mail.services.live.com/DeltaSync_v2.0.0/Sync.aspx '.
Windows Live Mail error ID: 0x8DE00005

I use Windows 7 Professional & have not had any problems before with Windows live mail.

I note that a new Hotmail folder has been configured in Windows Live Mail & when I click on I see a message that says that "Windows live mail is synchronize the accounts.»  Check back in a few minutes"However this updates never & when I press send/receive I get the above error message.

Would appreciate any assistance with this question please.

    Thank you

I assume you have an hotmail/outlook/live email address.

Microsoft migrates all users to a different format.  WLM can be used, but may not be used in 'delta-sync '.  It must be used via IMAP.

You must have the latest version of WLM

You must remove the current account (after the registration of your data) and reinstall using IMAP

    IMAP for PC

    Server of incoming IMAP mail

    IMAP - mail.outlook.com
Server port for incoming IMAP mail: 993; Encryption: SSL

    Outgoing mail SMTP server

    SMTP - mail.outlook.com
Outgoing SMTP mail server port: 587; Encryption: SSL (TLS)

    Server requires authentication (THE)

    For more information go here

    IMAP for MAC

Outlook.com does support IMAP and SMTP.

    Incoming server:
    IMAP: imap - mail.outlook.com
    Port: 993
    Encrypted connection: SSL
    Outgoing server:
    SMTP: smtp - mail.outlook.com
    Port: 25 or 587
    Encrypted connection: TLS
    Username: your username
    Password: your password
This does not work on mac os x mail unless you disable the pop in your first outlook.com account. If you have mac os x mail and you do not disable the pop in your outlook.com account first, mail will be automatically set up pop and smtp.
