  As more than first level help desk people, they are idiots! They are lucky to know enough to pick up the phone if it makes a noise.

  If their network or range of IP addresses is blacklisted only they can fix.
  I would ask to have this comeback for someone who knows something.

  It is not your problem, and there is nothing to fix on your computer.

• 38.1.0 download error accounts gmail messages to other e-mail accounts in chrome-related work. Needd FIXED TLS/SSL on Gmail.

  After updating to 38.1.0 Tbird will download is more emails from my two gmail accounts. I have another e-mail account that works very well.   All three e-mail accounts are POP and I had no problems before the update to 38.1.0. I received a bunch of Microsoft updates yesterday as well. I don't have or use chrome and I do not use the calendar or the Messenger. Can you help me? Thank you.

  It is possible with Thunderbird 38 authenticate using oAuth2 instead of the Normal password. This means that you don't have to activate applications less secure on your gmail account.

  I have a new e-mail account to a student who fails authentication always when I try to add to my Apple Mail on my Mac. I have the current OS of El Capitan. I talked to technical support at school, and he said he has never been able to get this working, apparently due to some problem with 2-factor of Apple. The account sets fine on my iOS devices, and although it is an address wgu.edu, it's actually a Google account.

  I use Mac Mail with imap to access my institutional email account, which is managed by Google. Very, very often, when I put them to the top of my window in Mail for Mac, there will be a small triangle with an exclamation point inside, next to the icon of my box 'in '.
