  The empty SightSpeed records record is a direct result of your Logitech Vid installation. The file is harmless and will remain empty unless the function to record video calls is implemented in Vid.

  It seems to be just a record created and will have nothing on the record unless you use the video recording option. You can test this information by recording a video call.

  According to me, the location column is empty because it is not relevant when you view the Threads (message list) of a right folder pane - the location is highlighted in the folders pane. Similarly, if you search for edit/search/search messages, the location column displays the folder where the search result is stored.

  I have just updated my laptop to be able to run the same version of GarageBand on my iMac and MacBook (OS X El Capitan and GarageBand v.6.0.5) and work on projects of GB on what that machine is available.

  I just tried to open a few GB on my MacBook projects (both were created on my iMac) and the recorded vocal tracks are "empty", as below.  The track from the top (purple) is any wav. file and the blue trace below is the vocal track, although it says "file not found".

  

  I copied the root folder where I save all my records in GB on my iMac to Dropbox so I could open projects GB on my laptop, so all audio files must be in the same place.  Or I make a stupid mistake?  It's really quite likely, but any help is very welcome!

  The problem could be the DropBox synchronization. DropBox is ideal for simple documents, but your GarageBand projects are files with databases and multimedia files inside. Synchronization can break the connection between the media files and internal databases.

  If you want to transfer projects with Dropbox, it is safest to compress the projects and move to archive compressed to dropbox.

  But see, if the media are still inside the Garageband project. Perhaps the download was not complete.

  • CTRL-click the .band file and select "Show Package Contents".
  • In the Finder window that opens, select the "Media" folder
  • Copy the audio files in this folder to a folder on your desktop.
  • Try to identify the missing audio file.  If you can find it, drag it to the track where it is absent.

  I'm designing a circuit in MultiSim in which I have a 600V DC source connected to the collector an IGBT and a 1 k ohms connected to the transmitter. When the IGBT is turned on, there is a voltage drop of 593V through IGBT. What in the circuit would occur? What forgets I have here? Any help is very appreciated.

  Assuming that the power supply of the element of comparison is referenced, you won't be able to drive the transmitter higher than what you have now. Door-to-emitter voltage is around 5 to turn on V and V 12-13 to the rated current. If you work with a single power supply of 32 V, you can get the voltage of the transmitter up to about 25 V.

  The LM393 would not be my first choice for an IGBT driving because the bend in time will be controlled by the pull-up resistance and the ability of the door.

  Have you considered Hall current effect rather than resistance sensors? They have very low voltage drops and probably output voltages greater than a resistance that can handle the over-current.

• Why my filter criteria are empty in a segment?

  In recent days, weeks (?), I noticed a problem where one of the criteria that I have added a filter in a segment is empty when I go to another filter and they come back. I can't double-click on it to bring it to the top. Or save the segment solves the problem. The only way to bring back the filter criteria is to close the segment and reopen it. It's always there when I have several criteria in a filter.

  

  It happens whenever I'm in a segment, but enough to be annoying. Anyone else seeing this? Any help out there?

  This question is recorded as OEP-12414. We are actively working on this subject, but there is a significant problem and will require a complete test suite. We will try to release the patch as soon as it is safe to do so, but that can happen only with the release of R1 (March/April) or one of the Service Packs of R1. If we come to the conclusion that the resolution is pretty sure, let's try to hot-fixing earlier, but since it is more than a display problem (changes actually properly apply in the back-end) we do not want to take the risk of possible side effects.
