  John P and I were able to get these 3 editors working with the wine sample project that comes with Extensions 2.1.2 Manager experience. These should work out of the box.

  We hit the catch, is that there are several versions of PBX on the host previously for the Sling JCR became corrupted with different config over time/version files. If you want to be sure you have a fresh Sling JCR, you can stop the short tool Service and delete the contents of the Sling directory on disk (on windows, this is in C:\Windows\System32\sling for example. Under linux I believe it is located under the directory of the ENDECA_TOOLS_CONF/State Workbench (I don't have linux version available so can be a directory or both)). When you reinstall the extensions, the appropriate content of the canvas must be created.

  To ensure you have erased the tracks away from the previous config PBX, beyond to remove the Sling directory manually, you can delete the cached Tomcat under ENDECA_TOOLS_CONF/work and also don't forget to clear your browser cache. This should get rid of all old caching configurations and allow you to implement Extensions to the experienced Manager 2.1.2 freshly. It worked for us in these 3 editors getting usable in the experience Manager.

• "Freezes" the experience on my new desktop HP Pavilion Elite HPE - 578d

  I had this problem haunting for the past two weeks. It's something minor, but extremely irritating.

  About 2-5 minutes after starting the computer, I noticed the HDD activity LED goes berserk for about 90 seconds, during this period, pretty much "freezes". I mean the mouse cursor could still pass a whole, but that's all. Nothing can be done. Most of the time I would be in my (Firefox) browser screen.

  Checks using Norton Internet security, with my PC came shows that no other program of 'suspects' is running other than firefox.

  My system is pretty much straight out of the box, except for the SSD that I replaced the primary transmission (had to install Acronis True image 2011 for this). I thought that the acronis could cause a few problems with the system so I went to the start to prevent to load initially. No joy.

  Is there another program I can install to diagnose this problem. It of not a big deal, only "freezes" for 90 seconds about a few minutes after I start the PC, but extremely irritating as it is a new system for me.

  Apparently, it's a problem documented with Intel 6 series motherboards and SSD Crucial drives.

  I applied the solution found here, to make a reg file to fix this problem, because I do not run win 7 with the mobo Intel H67 (Cleveland). It seems to have worked for now. Although I'm not sure how to "undo" it later when there is a problem of crucial / intel.

  My advice would be, when you have a very old system, read the system requirements before you start a large download. You need Mac OS 10.9 to run Acrobat DC. Since no other version is now sold, I'm afraid that it's game over for Acrobat.

• My disappointing experiences with the iPhone 6

  After 11 months of owning an iPhone of 128GB 6 + the screen started to flicker, a gray bar would flash at the top of the screen and the touch screen has been insensitive.  This was due at random intervals.  I restarted the phone and the problem persisted.  I backed up my data and reset the phone like new.   The problem persisted.  I had my first appointment at the Genius Bar. He went a lot; I was leaving in 15 minutes with a new phone (my first replacement).

  I came home and restored my backup, and after a day, the problem came immediately.  Again, I have reset the phone again, and the problem persisted.  I did another (second) meeting with the Genius Bar (four days after the first).  My genius was excellent.  He had seen that problem before; He showed me that if he put a little pressure on the phone, the screen will become sensitive while he kept up the pressure. He took the phone and showed some of the other Geniuse the problem and how do I get the screen to become sensitive.  He assured so was completely related material and I was just out of luck and that it had nothing to do with my backup.  He asked me to contact Apple, since it is a problem he could see quite often with these phones.  In the end, I got another new phone (my second replacement).

  Once I got home I restored my backup once more.  And yet once again, the problem came back.  At this point, I was getting angry.  I have two young children (under 3) to home and make those appointments around their program is difficult.  Back to the apple store! This time, it was a little harder to get a solution.   In short, in the space of 10 days, I've had four different iPhone + 6s fail in exactly the same way.  My family uses exclusively apple devices.  I had an iPhone 3s, 4S and now 6 +.  My wife had iPhone 3, 5 and 6.  We have all two Ipads and I an Apple Watch for Christmas.  We have had excellent experience with our devices.  I am more unhappy with the iPhone + 6s.  I have about a year left before I can go again, so I'm stuck with what is becoming a useless device.

  I have seen others with the same issues, but no solution is permanent.  This issue should be fixed.  I'm afraid that my next replacement will last 90 days and then I will be paying $329 for a replacement which is likely to fail again.

  java.io.FileNotFoundException: http://localhost: 8080/rest/model/atg/userprofilin... (500) the requested URL /ifcr/sites/CRS.profileGroups.json gave rise to an error in com.endeca.ifcr.profilegroup.ProfileGroupServlet.

  I registered the url to a string of Action REST registry as well. We can not trace of the error. Everyone please help in this regard.

  • This problem is solved. Solution: no repository group is present in the production instance PublishingAgent. In this case, we have to do the full deployment then PublishingAgent will be produced again all the post data. Already the repository groups are not present. Some sites are disabled. We have completed the full deployment, allowed all sites through dyn/admin. After that, we made the indexing. This solves the problem. Now, the segments are accessible from the Manager of the experience.
