  So I started my computer as usual and everything was fine, I watched a TV show online and when I closed I noticed than my rear windows to the ground, icons, and fonts are all lying (as when you coat of paint on the side), I tried pressing the auto adjust on my SyncMaster 941bw flatscreen and parties so he scrunched up the text of letters are almost invisible and the icons and background are blurred. It is very difficult to read any word, unless they are in a large font size. I restarted in safe mode, and it seems unaffected.  I have a processor dual core AMD Athlon 64 x 2 4200 +, graphics card Nivida GeForce 8500 GT with windows XP. I need step by step instructions on how solutions that I know only a little about computers. I have very little time to try to understand what I have a 17 month old and only have a few hours to myself.

  It seems that the resolution of the computer screen has changed.

  Method 1: Change the resolution of the screen than that recommended for the monitor. See the monitor manual for the recommended resolution.

  I have the original disc for AoE I in good condition and it installs and runs without a problem, but the graphics are all blurred and distorted. The playing surface is also a really small box in the middle of a big black screen. I never had NO problem running the game because it came out and I played on Win 95, Win 98 and XP machines.

  I really like this game. Explorer disabling is not good, and no compatibility help modes at all. It's all simply unplayable, which is a real shame.

  It's SO simple, I am completely ashamed of myself, although I do not understand why this seems to have been posted ANYWHERE on the entire internet!

  The problem was that my graphics card has been configured for the quality settings higher in order to play 3D games world opened as Skyrim.

  Dell U2410 24 "1920 x 1200 widescreen flat panel
  Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit

  All I had to do was go in catalyst and save all my usual settings in a predefined profile called NORMAL.

  Reduce ALL the parameters of anisotropic filtering, Anti-Aliasing and ALL other settings for the LESS POSSIBLE then use application settings if necessary, apply these settings and then save them to a predefined profile called "Age of Empires".

  So now I can click on my profile predefined for AoE, it changes the settings of the card, start the game and it plays perfectly.

  Then I can change whenever I like it in my NORMAL preset.

  QED.

  There seems to be some available in Australia recently, and was asked to help the owner to fix it.

  Symptoms: Graphics blurred with incorrect, faded to the pastel colors.

  On an external monitor, the graphics are OK.

  Flat screen, even when starting, the display is fuzzy with colors that don't seem to one (or more) components. Strangely, during POST the color is not consistent always the same and instead of black, it's either a pastel red, sometimes yellow, sometimes lime green tint.

  Given the nature of the fault (on external monitor colors are OK), I have concluded that the two graphics cards are OK and the problem was due to BIOS, faulty LED panel or display faulty or loose cable.

  To this day, I spent countless hours (days) on it.

  I have:

  update BIOS to A09

  reinstall all the drivers for Win8

  installed new HARD drive and put Win7 on it to check if maybe Win8 installation is not corrupted (no recovery media).

  He took display disassembled and re-sat cable

  bought and replaced the display LED THE Optronics B156HW02 V.1: NEW Panel / W:1 A F / l: 1

  All to no effect.

  Well, here's the solution:

  What was causing blurred graphics in Dell 7520 (15R SE) was incorrect (taking into account the resolution of 1920 x 1080 FHD Panel) factory equipped with the display cable.

  The mounted cable was CNNGH (DC02001 |) C10 or "QCL00 câble LVDS - HD"). Suspect that it is defective, I bought and fitted a replacement who was an exactly the same thing.

  What should be installed was the R4WW7 (DC02001GD10 or "QCL00 LVDS cable FHD").

  Whatever it took to find, had to buy another phone, disassemble, Exchange parts and then buy the right cable. And almost 2 weeks to pull the hair out of my head.

  Someone needs the Inspiron 15R SE 7520?

  I have 2 of those - one with warranty, without work brilliantly. Open to offers.

  Also have a spare HD 1920 x 1080 to THE Panel with good cable Optronics

  included.

• Satellite M30 - problem with the graphics driver and Quicktime movies

  I just installed a 40 GB to 80 GB hard drive and installed all the drivers in the correct order, as indicated by toshiba. Everything works well except the used for Quicktime .mov files. All I get is audio but no image - other than a colorful blur screen!

  I think I've isolated the problem to the graphics driver. Whenever I turned off / uninstall the driver dedicated for the graphics card FX 5200 GP (version 4.6.44) Quicktime files work fine. It is only when I installed the dedicated driver problems occur!

• I need help with possible graphics card on my HP Pavilion Media Center TV PC m1800n failure

  I'm not computer savvy, but I think I can be faced with a problem of graphics card.  My HP Pavilion # is GC673AA-ABA m8100n and the graphics card on my computer model is NVIDIA GeFOrce 6150SE.  These days through a PC game, the screen becomes blurry and has funky lines.  I also had an accident where the screen turned blue and I had to stop holding the power button until it is turned off.   Have not fallen since then, I am now having the screen blurred when the game sat for awhile.      If I had to replace the graphics card should I just put in the same one that has the computer?  I'm afraid that if I try to upgrade to a graphics card plus other things have to be upgraded as well to make it work properly!       I also wonder if it could be the monitor, but the weird screen happens only while playing the PC game.   Thank you for your patience with my questions.  Sandy
