  I use Windows 7.

  User account from my son has parental control of Microsoft Watch.  It cannot open an iTunes account.  When he tries to do, a widow who opens shows the administrator permission is required.  We ask in person, I type my password.  Nothing happens.  iTunes will not open and if it clicks again, the same window again.

  I tried several times to block specific web sites on my daughters account. I followed the instructions in the help to the letter, but my daughter is still able to access sites blocked and other sites that are not on the green list. I tried with its connected account and making the changes, but it makes no difference.  Has anyone else had similar problems and can help you?

• problem with parental lock

  Hello... recently I am facing some problems with parental controls...

  I recently added a second user on my computer and made the administrator and changed the current standard user so that my roommates can use it even if I'm not around and parental lock to lock all except some common programs and applications such as Google chrome, windows media player etc... while I was installing parental lock, I think there's an option something like I need to set the password for the first time open a session or something like that... I did it... After you set the lock completely, I disconnected and clicked on the new account I created... It asked me password, but as I keep on behalf, I left the place empty and clicked on enter... now he asked me to put a password... I typed the password I wanted to set and clicked on enter, but it showed the error message saying "configuration information could not be read from the domain controller because the machine is unavailable or. access is denied'...
  now stuck m... using standard user and that, for internet access alone... can anyone please help me... I know that one of the option is formatted, but I won't do that... should I have another option? Help, please...

  If your computer is not on the field, then I suggest you to try the following methods:

  Method 1:

  You can try to start the computer in safe mode and check if the problem persists in safe mode and after return the result.

  To boot to the desktop in safe mode keep tapping key F8 during restart. Once you see the option to start in safe mode select and press to enter.

  The of Windows Parental control allows a parent configure, on a per user basis, various restrictions on what the user can do on the computer. These range from Web sites block settings to control what are the games they play. Access to these types of controls allows a parent to feel uncomfortable with their children using a computer and at the same time gives them the flexibility to customize these settings for their specific needs.
   
  Sites Web https will be blocked or disabled if Parental control is activated.

• Satellite Pro P300 - problem with volume control

  I have a problem with my volume control. He worked for the first two months of use value, but now refuses to lower the sound.
  He sort of stutters and actually transforms the sound upward when you turn, he 'left' to drop.

  I markets DEAMS it is a digital control and therefore is not a point 'end' like other laptops. I also noticed others are experieicing this problem.

  Is there a solution to this problem? I don't really like having to manually click on the volume control in the status bar on the window in order to be able to turn the laptop down. Maybe someone can help me?

  In your case, I recommend reinstalling the audio driver and controls (with Win XP) Toshiba or Toshiba VAP (if Vista is installed).

  Looks like you may need to communicate with Rockstar games for help.  Is the only other thing you might want to try (if you don't have administrator rights) is to create a new user account, and then install the game and test.  It is possible that your user profile has a corruption.

• Problem with the controls volume/internet on my laptop HP HDX 16

  I have a laptop of HP HDX 16, around the age of 8 months. I keep having problems with the touch buttons that controls volume, bass/treble and the internet. The buttons randomly disappear by themselves, turn on and off Alternatively my volume/bass/treble from top to bottom and my internet.

  I have updated the drivers for the buttons to quick launch without result. I've also just updated my computer to Windows 7, so my Bios is brand new (the problem started before I updated to 7).

  As you can imagine, get my internet randomly stops and for the black volume screen blocking what I was doing and hang my computer is getting pretty annoying. Any help on this would be surprising.

  I also have the same problem. HDX 16, around the age of 3 months.

  I found to do all sorts of updates the driver, uninstall, System Restore (no), and does not help.

  I'm still on Vista, but when I get my kit to upgrade to Windows 7, I had planned to see if it resolved the problem.

  Technical support HP told me that if a recovery does not resolve the problem, it must be delivered to them, and the band of totality quicklaunch may have to be modified.

  I intend to make the recovery during the holiday season.

  Based on the fact that you got your computer 8 months ago, I assume that you have not used an upgrade kit. Which means, I would recommend doing a recovery before calling the technical support because they will just have to insist that you do anyway.

  An interim solution, when the volume control locks your screen is at the end of the process called "SmartMenu.exe". It will reload the next time that you start your computer.

  Catalyst Control Center version 2011.0817.2216.38121 the catalyst control center would launch and accident immediately but she always see the process running in the Task Manager.

  I removed all the drivers and the software associated with the control center catalyst with Microsoft Visual C++ 2010 and reinstalled all the package and tried the update, but still the same problem that led me to the conclusion the problem was with the update.

  Truth, is the app and technology around Skype has changed a bit since Microsoft took over, and is not for the better unfortunately.

  To answer your question, normally (at least the last time I did) Skype requests access to 7 different sites and as long as you click on "Always allow this Web site", enter your password, etc. 7 times, it should work normally...

  Well, that's the whole point of Parental controls on your computer.  Rejects the request allows you to install games and do other things, unless you ask the administrator to help you.  Whoever set up your computer created the administrator account and the password.  You'd have to talk to them to get it.
