EBS 12.2.4 - no access to WebLogic
Hello
I installed a 12.2.4 instance Vision on Linux 12.2.4. Services have been arrested and began repeatedly and WebLogic was always available.
Since trying to integrate with short extensions, I think that I have something knocked out - all I get now is "unable to connect" or "page cannot be displayed". I have turned off the firewall issues.
Can someone give some ideas as to what config was messed up?
Thank you
Drew.

In my virtual machine using localhost I can able to access the console. But when I try to access the console to another computer that has windows 7, cannot able to access the console.
Check if the AdminServer is listening on all addresses to link or not?
Can you try to set an IP address to your AdminServer as following in your "$DOMAIN_HOME/config/config.xml", and then try again
AdminServer false 7001 true 192.168.1.9 Still, if you face any problem, then it might be a firewall problem.
Please, try the following on the remote computer to see if the port is accessible from the other box or not:
From your windows 7 computer customer trying to see if this port is available or not on this IP address

Hello
11.1.1.3 Jdev
I remember not to give a password when I installed Jdev 11.1.1.3. Now I want to access the weblogic console to create a data source and configure SQLAuthenticator.
How can I reset the password? Or y at - it a default password that I can try?
I tried to delete the DefaultDomain to the system folder and tried to run the application. But it does not request a password also
Am I missing something basic?

Thanks Matt.
Deletion of system folder and trying to connect does not ask for password.

Access to the Console of Administration Mapviewer 12 c problem
I try to install and configure Oracle Mapviewer 12 c (v12.1.3). The installation seemed successful, but after the installation, I am unable to access the Console of Administration Mapviewer 12 c. The default is Admin Console URL http://[host]:[port]/mapviewer. I can reach the URL using a browser (Firefox, Chrome, IE), but the admin home page will not appear. The browser just "turns its wheels"as it tries to load the page. " The image below is from Firefox
Looking at the console of the developer of the browser (press F12) while the page loads, you can see browse the page of connection repeatedly (see image below).
My environment consists of the following:
(1) server OS: Linux (RedHat Enterprise 5.11) x86_64
(2) oracle Weblogic Server 12 c - distribution "Oracle Fusion Middleware Infrastructure"
According to the documentation, Oracle Mapviewer 12 c requires specific dependencies that will not provide generic install Weblogic Server (i.e. , http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/middleware/weblogic/overview/index.html,). Instead, you must use the "Oracle Fusion Middleware Infrastructure" distribution, installation of weblogic server and all the dependencies required.
The distribution of Oracle Fusion Middleware Infrastructure has been downloaded from the Oracle ADF OTN download page or leave cloud of delivery of the Oracle software.
-Oracle ADF OTN download page: http://www.Oracle.com/technetwork/developer-tools/ADF/downloads/index.html
-JAR file fmw_12.1.3.0.0_infrastructure_Disk1_1of1.zip
(3) oracle Fusion Middleware MapViewer Version 12 c (12.1.3)
-downloaded from http://www.Oracle.com/technetwork/middleware/MapViewer/downloads/index.html
-JAR file is fmw_12.1.3.0.0_mapviewer.jar
Following the instructions in the for Oracle Mapviewer 12 c E29624-02 User Guide (http://docs.oracle.com/middleware/1213/core/JIMPV/index.html), first of all, I have installed and configured Weblogic Server 12 c, in Mapviewer 12 c followed.
I made two attempts of different installation:
(a) I installed Mapviewer using the Universal Installer
(b) I have manually deployed an EAR MapViewer exploded in WebLogic Server folder
Two attempts produced the same results.
Specifically, after installation and configuration of Mapviewer, I could check the Mapviewer version using the URL:
http://[host]:[port]/MapViewer/omserver?getv=t
Immediately access this URL resulted in the expected answer text string:
Ver12.1.3_B140430.1010
I could also successfully access the Weblogic administration Console (http://[host]:[port]/console) and confirm the Weblogic is running, and that Mapviewer was correctly deployment up and running as well.
However, at this point, if I try to access the Console of Administration Mapviewer 12 c via http://[host]:[port]/MapViewer , the Console launch page does not appear (as described above).
at this point, I wonder why the Oracle demo site works (http://slc02okf.oracle.com) and me does not work. I assumed that the demonstration site for the Oracle Mapviewer used Mapviewer 12 c. I based this assumption on the fact of demonstration site for this Orqacle (http://slc02okf.oracle.com/mvdemo/demo/oracle_maps_demo_v2.jsp) displays a header SEO Mapviewer 12 c (see image below).
However, when I questioned the version of Oracle Demo site URL (i.e. ) http://slc02okf.Oracle.com/MapViewer/omserver?getv=t ), I see that they run Mapviewer 11 g!
Ver11_1_1_7_3_B140717
So, long story short, deployed anyone successfully Mapviewer 12 c and if so, can you access the Console of Administration Mapviewer 12 c?
Any contribution is greatly appreciated.
Wayne
Hi Wayne,
Please check that Java is used to start the WebLogic Server. If the JDK 8, try starting with JDK 7 to see if the spin connection problem is resolved.
Thank you.

Hi all
I am currently installing Hyperion Planning more v11.1.2.3.00 on 3 different servers of MS Windows 2008 Server R2 (x 64) (that is to say, HYP01, HYP02 and HYP03) in a mode of Standard deployment typical, as follows:
-HYP01 Server: Essbase;
-HYP02 server: planning;
-HYP03 server: Foundation (IE, SSP, workspace), EPMA, Manager of calculation, financial reports, Reporting and analytical framework, analysis Web, Essbase Administration Services, Essbase Studio, WebLogic Server, Oracle HTTP Server.
as noted in Chapter 1 of the Standard EMP Deployment Guide.
I followed the steps to install Planning on HYP02 and then noticed that he appeared in the administration console (installed on HYP03) WebLogic as "Planning0" (see attachment 20141210-MJ-ORA - OWLServerStatus_BeforeHPDeployment.jpg) running on the server HYP02. I was able to access the login page of planning, but due to some problems with the workspace, I was not able to verify whether the planning was available in the workspace (it's a question I've been working with Oracle's Support staff).
After the launch of the EPM on the HYP03 system configurator, I noticed that he had picked up this planning remained to be deployed... so I have authorized its deployment. At the end of this step, I restarted all servers and access the WebLogic administration console again. That's when I noticed that there is now an entry for 'Planning0' and 'Planning of the depenses1' (see attached 20141210-MJ-ORA - OWLServerStatus_AfterHPDeployment.jpg), showing that 'Planning0' was no mention of a server it was running on when 'Planning of the depenses1' will run on the server HYP03 (IE, not the HYP02).
Without being able to access the workspace again (I'm working on the resolution of a recurring problem with the Support of Oracle), I would like to know the following:
1 - is normal\advisable to 'Planning0' and 'Planning of the depenses1' appear in the WebLogic administration console?
2. If it is normal\advisable, how can I remove\delete 'Planning of the depenses1' of the WebLogic administration console? The removal\deletion will cause problems with my installation?
Any other advice\pointers would be much appreciated.
Thanks in advance.
JBM
If you intend to deploy to both HYP03 and HYP02, then that is what you did and stick with it, if you only intend to be deployed to HYP02, then you need to change the configuration.
I don't know why you think that all EMP products are now highly available as it seems only that planning is such that it has been deployed on two servers, what Essbase and other web applications?
See you soon

Authentication PKI (CAC) of the client app WebLogic
Has anyone done the customer technical (Common Access Card) Weblogic app? Can someone point me to document?
We have a Weblogic application that is authenticated through LDAP. I have an obligation for the activation of the PKI client authentication.
Published by: user12220476 on May 8, 2010 09:37Authentication based on PKI, if I'm not mistaken is certificate-based authentication.
You can do this by configuring 2 Way SSL with the Weblogic Server.WebLogic Server validates the certificate sent by the client.
To know which configurations are required on WLS, go through this post.

WebLogic 9.2 with connector Apache Config
Hi I'm new to this forum and all Oracle WebLogic products for that matter. I am a college student and asked me to learn how to use WebLogic 9.2. I was told they want to be connected to apache with mod_wl_22.so for Apache shared module. I placed the module in the directory and added the LoadModule line in the httpd.conf file and the module does very well. Reading through the documentation for WebLogic, I know now that I need to create a < location > block in the file httpd.conf for the connector. I also know that the arguments that you use are WebLogicHost and WebLogicPort. So in my httpd.conf, I added the following.
< /weblogic location >
WebLogicHost 10.15.107.90/weblogic
WebLogicPort 7001
< / location >
I also tried...
< /weblogic location >
WebLogicHost /weblogic
WebLogicPort 7001
< / location >
and...
< /weblogic location >
WebLogicHost 10.15.107.90
WebLogicPort 7001
< / location >
All with no luck. When I navigate to http://10.15.107.90/weblogic I get nothing. Can someone help me out here?
Thank you
ScottHello
After loading the module, u just needs to add the following to connect to apache with weblogic.
SetHandler weblogic-Manager
WebLogicHost 127.0.0.1
WebLogicPort 7001
Debugging now
WLTempDir/tmp
With the above configuration, you can access the weblogic console using http://127.0.0.1/console
Let me know, if this can help.
Thank you

role and user to the webcenter Portal
Hi all
How can I configure roles, groups and users of weblogic portal webcenter'?
Well I'll tell if yoou have user from multiple sources, then user OVD + OAM architecture.
serve OAM assertor identity in weblogic. Run the portal in the same weblogic domain. You will automatically get authenticated WebLogic nd you can connect to the portal. For the assignment
Members for each portal, I say define groups of identity provider and create roles for Sami in PCM. Set access for weblogic for different portal. It should work...
If you have any questions let me know

Additional portal for creating users and groups in OBIEE.
Good afternoon everyone
We are facing a situation where a resource by another company needs to create and manage their own users who will access OBIEE.
That means that for the moment we have create users in Weblogic, but we cannot provide the resource with access to weblogic due to many other services running in the Weblogic causing a safety hazard.
My question: is there another way, we can provide access to this resource through a portal that will only be able to manage the users and groups that will access OBIEE and not be able to view all other settings?
Concerning

If you have detailed follow-up questions (which I think you will to the BISQLProviders) you can make a custom thread and we will deal with this matter else on its own.
