WebLogic 9.2 with connector Apache Config
Hi I'm new to this forum and all Oracle WebLogic products for that matter. I am a college student and asked me to learn how to use WebLogic 9.2. I was told they want to be connected to apache with mod_wl_22.so for Apache shared module. I placed the module in the directory and added the LoadModule line in the httpd.conf file and the module does very well. Reading through the documentation for WebLogic, I know now that I need to create a < location > block in the file httpd.conf for the connector. I also know that the arguments that you use are WebLogicHost and WebLogicPort. So in my httpd.conf, I added the following.< /weblogic location >
WebLogicHost 10.15.107.90/weblogic
WebLogicPort 7001
< / location >
I also tried...
< /weblogic location >
WebLogicHost /weblogic
WebLogicPort 7001
< / location >
and...
< /weblogic location >
WebLogicHost 10.15.107.90
WebLogicPort 7001
< / location >
All with no luck. When I navigate to http://10.15.107.90/weblogic I get nothing. Can someone help me out here?
Thank you
Scott
Hello
After loading the module, u just needs to add the following to connect to apache with weblogic.
SetHandler weblogic-Manager
WebLogicHost 127.0.0.1
WebLogicPort 7001
Debugging now
WLTempDir/tmp
With the above configuration, you can access the weblogic console using http://127.0.0.1/console
Let me know, if this can help.
Thank you
Chrystel

I finished all the relevant configuration, which is mentioned in the link above, changes
but I couldn't seem to access the console http://localhost: 80/console. I play with the Apache server logs and I could see these errors. Can someone please suggest me, how can I proceed.

But if you want to target the Apache for a Cluster of ManagedServers then... u will not be able to access "console" because the console application is deployed only on the AdminServer...

FMS 4.5 with existing Apache installation
Hello
I installed FMS 4.5 on an existing Web server that is already running Apache.
I have installed FMS 4.5 and checked the Apache installation option, so there is no conflict.
When I use the sample page of videoplayer, I can't have one manifests work, even if the fms.ini is not at the root of the existing Web server.
I need to configure to get 4.5 FMS to talk to my existing Apache Server?
Thank you
I thought I read a thread discussing this problem but I can not find (try searching).
I don't know if that answers your question, but the following explains how to use one existing installation of Apache HTTP Server other than the one that installs with Flash Media Server:
The subjects are quite similar to the steps proposed by the article could point you in the right direction.
> I have installed FMS 4.5 and checked the Apache installation option, so there is no conflict.
Please note that the article asking you to install Apache as part of FMS to copy the Apache files to the other server. You may have to re-intall FMS with selected Apache Server, follow the instructions above, then uninstall the Apache server that should not be used.
Good luck.

Windows not vWorkspace connector via Config.xml
Hello
I have configure config.xml to access android connector to my farm. VWokspace android app, I'm able to download config.xml file and load my closed setting. But I'm trying to connect to my farm every time I get the error message "there is currently no available connection server to process the logon request" that i believe that the problem of authentication with the domain controller.
I put my domain name correctly and I have also a problem while accessing my (external) web access page. No matter what step I'm missing here?
Thank you
Hi Whosen,
When you use the AppPortal you can easily create an internal as external connection affecting, however, for mobile devices like tablets and Smartphones, it is probably easier to simply set up the connection as a external route to make things easier.
If you are using vWorkspace 8.5 you can now configure settings dynamic config.xml according to the OS device and a number of other variables, you can learn more on this subject in details on the presentation of the management of the connector to [View:documents.software.dell.com/DOC262859:550:0].
Hope this helps?
See you soon,.

WebLogic 10.3 with ldap
I use jdeveloper 11g to generate ADF application and I need to use the generation of security on my domain active directory (LDAP)
I "bilal othman" user with username b.othman and I use it to connect to LDAP
b.Othman is a member of the following groups
memberOf: CN = Designers, OR = Groups, OU is Design, OU = Office of Damascus, DC = TeachArabia, DC = local
memberOf: CN = developers, OU = Groups, OR = Web, OU = Office of Damascus, DC = TeachArabia, DC = local
memberOf: CN = all employees, OR = Groups, OU = Office of Damascus, DC = TeachArabia, DC = local
memberOf: CN = All Users, OR = Groups, OU = Office of Damascus, DC = TeachArabia, DC = local
memberOf: CN = Administrators, CN = Builtin, DC = TeachArabia, DC = local
memberOf: CN = Domain Controllers, CN = Users, DC = TeachArabia, DC = local
memberOf: CN = Administrators of the domain, CN = Users, DC = TeachArabia, DC = local
my domain name is TeachArabia.local
In the weblogic console I have create a new relam "Active Directory"
beside this relam I configured the new provider with the following parameters
Main: CN = bilal othman, CN = Users, DC = local, DC is TeachArabia
DN:CN of basic user = users, dc = teacharabia, dc = local
Basic DN::CN = Users group, dc is teacharabia, dc = local
so when I clicked on users and groups to the following exception is thrown

Breakdowns of connector Apache on RHEL5
Hello
I bet this question is asked a lot, but I can't find a very good answer. Installing CF8 on RHEL 5 is fine, but as soon as the server starts, the script of the apache connector fails. I checked the cf script - connectors.sh and script for apache - connector.sh and both show the correct pointers to apache binary and config service on the system scripts.
Is there anyone who can help me through this problem of script connector? Is there a way to tell why the script failed? I'm really burned on it and it took me 3 days of long nights to get it up and running. It is a 32-bit system.
Any help will be appreciated. In addition, I'm not a master of Linux by any stretch of the imagination. :)Well I finally thought to it.
Problem 1: httpd-devel is not installed on the server
Problem 2: I had to manually modify the apache - connectors.sh to find script that the script to start/stop apache is not in the usual place. After that I took care of both of those, everything worked for me! Thanks for all the help. :)

WebLogic Server 10 with RedHat 5.1
I was watching the configurations supported for 10 WLS:
The text leaves room for interpretation:
"Red Hat Enterprise Linux Server release 5 (Tikanga) kernel 2.6.18 - 8.el5 glibc 2, 5-12 * and later updates and errata levels."
I don't think this would include 5.1, but the wording does not give me a warm fuzzy. The song "updates later" refers to the kernel, glibc, or RH version? I was going to call Oracle support, but thought I would put it here in case someone has been down this road.
Thank you
MikeThe answer to your question is a bit complicated depending on if you're on WL 10 WL 10MP1 or and if you are using JRockit. To give a summary of our configuration which has been validated by Oracle as supported is as follows:
In all of our environments with WL 10 MP1 and JRockit, we use RH5.1 (2.6.18 - 53.1.19.el5PAE). WL10MP1 is supported on RH5.1 as long you have met the minimum requirements of libc version control. As JRockit is, to be supported by Oracle on RH5.1, you will need to use R27.6.0 (I don't think that R27.6.1 has yet been made public). Now with all that being said, there are a few major bugs which have workarounds, but you must be aware of.
1. While JRockit R27.6.0 is necessary if you are running on RH5.1, there a bug of optimizing code that will crash your JVM intermittently (we encountered this problem about 7 months ago and it has worked with Oracle support to confirm that it is indeed a bug). At this point, the only solution is to disable the optimization when you launch the JAVA virtual machine (when start you weblogic - Oracle support in passing - XnoOpt to the JVM). They not said yet if this bug is part of the R27.6.1 version but disabling optimization of code has had little impact on the performance of our system and is well worth the compromise of having the system failure never 2 days. Because we needed to go to RH5.1, we were stuck with this scenario. Who takes care of issues JRockit we have expererienced on RH5.1
2 WL 10.0 and 10 MP1 have leaked internal resource when running with R27.6.0 on RH5.1. It took about 4 months to capture, analyze and convince Oracle that there was a problem. The external manifestation is an OutOfMemory condition that occurs intermittently on your application servers (for us it was all 3-4 days; it is related to how much traffic your app servers TCP consume). Long story short, it turns out that with this magic combo of WL/JRockit/HR that WL leaking objects of management of socket internally. It is not a file descriptor leak (all file descriptors are correctly set to the OS layer) but rather a leak of an object WL creates internally to manage each created socket. Once we were able to demonstrate Oracle the question through our own analysis, they found the bug and released a fix for us that is specific to WL 10MP1. You will need this patch if you go on RH5.1 (at least from our experience - I wouldn't see someone else go through the months of pain we endured). The patch for any reason has several patch different identifiers that are associated to him, but the CR that we got from Oracle to follow our specific question number is CR368163 which has a patch named CR368163_1000mp1.jar JAR file. You should be able to ask the Oracle support for this patch.
In any case, it is our experience with WL10MP1 on RH5.1. After that we went to these two questions above, we had zero problems in PROD (or any other environment) and have been running this way during the last 6 months. Hope this helps some.

I have a desktop computer Acer, about 4 years old, running Windows XP SP2. When I started my computer, it does not boot in any mode, and I get this error message:
Windows has not start because the following file is missing or damaged:
\windows\system32\config\system
You can attempt to repair this file by starting windows setup using the original setup cd-rom
Select 'r' in the first screen to start repair.I don't have a Setup disk and wonder if it would help in all cases. Any ideas?
You can not download configuration online info. I have a second XP computer which is supposed to have access to the configuration file in the Add/Remove Programs section, but I don't have any tab to create a disk for installation here. Do you know where he's hiding on this computer? If not, can I get a copy of this MS installation disc?

Manual steps to recover a corrupted registry that prevents the start of the procedure that this article describes to Windows XP using System Restore and Recovery Console. This article lists also all required specific steps to ensure that the process is fully completed. When you have completed this procedure, the system returns to a state very close to the State until the problem occurred. If you have ever run NTBackup and completed a system state backup, you don't have to follow the procedures in parts two and three. You can go to part IV. First part in the first part, you start the Recovery Console, create a temporary folder, back up the existing registry files to a new location, delete the registry from their existing location files and then copy the registry files in the repair folder to the System32\Config folder. When you have completed this procedure, a registry is created that you can use to start Windows XP. This registry was created and saved during the initial setup of Windows XP. Therefore, any changes and settings that took place after Setup has finished are lost.
The full, first part, follow these steps:
- Insert the diskette of starting Windows XP in the floppy drive, or insert the Windows XP CD into the CD-ROM drive and restart the computer.
Click to select all of the options required to start the computer from the CD-ROM drive if you are prompted to do so. - When the "Welcome" screen appears, press R to start the Recovery Console.
- If you have a dual-boot or multiboot, select the installation that you want to access from the Recovery Console.
- When you are prompted to do so, type the administrator password. If the administrator password is blank, just press ENTER.
- At the Recovery Console prompt, type the following lines, pressing ENTER after you type each line:MD tmp
copy c:\windows\system32\config\system c:\windows\tmp\system.bak
copy c:\windows\system32\config\software c:\windows\tmp\software.bak
Copy c:\windows\system32\config\sam c:\windows\tmp\sam.bak
copy c:\windows\system32\config\security c:\windows\tmp\security.bak
copy c:\windows\system32\config\default c:\windows\tmp\default.bakdelete c:\windows\system32\config\system
delete c:\windows\system32\config\software
Delete c:\windows\system32\config\sam
delete c:\windows\system32\config\security
Delete c:\windows\system32\config\defaultCopy c:\windows\repair\system c:\windows\system32\config\system
copy c:\windows\repair\software c:\windows\system32\config\software
copy c:\windows\repair\sam c:\windows\system32\config\sam
Copy c:\windows\repair\security c:\windows\system32\config\security
Copy c:\windows\repair\default c:\windows\system32\config\default - Type exit to quit the Recovery Console. Your computer will restart.
Note This procedure assumes that Windows XP is installed in the C:\Windows folder. Make sure that replace C:\Windows with the appropriate dossier_Windows if it is a different place.
If you have access to another computer, to save time, you can copy the text in step 5, and then create a text file called "Regcopy1.txt" (for example). To use this file, run the following command when you start in Recovery Console:
batch regcopy1.txtWith the command batch to the Recovery Console, you can process all the commands in a text file in the order. When you use the batch command, you do not have to manually type as many commands. Second part to perform the procedure described in this section, you must be logged on as an administrator or an administrative user (a user who has an account in the Administrators group). If you use Windows XP Home Edition, you can connect as an administrative user. If you sign in as an administrator, you must first start Windows XP Home Edition in safe mode. To start the computer in Windows XP Home Edition in safe mode, follow these steps.
Note Print these instructions before continuing. You cannot view these instructions after you restart the computer in Mode safe. If you use the NTFS file system, also print the instructions from article KB309531 of the Knowledge Base. Step 7 contains a reference to the article.
- Click Start , click shut down (or click turn off computer ), click restart , and then click OK (or click restart ).
- Press the F8 key.
On a computer that is configured to start to multiple operating systems, you can press F8 when you see the boot menu.
- Use the arrow keys to select the appropriate safe mode option and press ENTER.
- If you have a dual-boot or multiboot system, use the arrow keys to select the installation that you want to access, and then press ENTER.
In part two, you copy the registry of their location saved files by using the system restore. This folder is not available in the Recovery Console, and is usually not visible on the typical use. Before you begin this procedure, you must change several settings to make the folder visible:
- Start Windows Explorer.
- On the Tools menu, click folder options .
- Click the view tab.
- Under hidden files and folders , select Show hidden folders and files , and then click to clear the Hide protected (recommended) operating system files check box.
- When appears in the dialog box confirming that you want to display these files, click Yes .
- Double-click the drive where you installed Windows XP to display the list of folders. If it is important to click on the correct drive.
- Open the System Volume Information folder. This folder is not available and is dimmed because it is defined as a file hidden doubling.
Note This folder contains one or more _restore {GUID} folders such as "_restore {87BD3667-3246-476B-923F-F86E30B3E7F8}.
Note You may receive the following error message:
C:\System Volume Information is not accessible. Access is denied. If you receive this message, see the following article in the Microsoft Knowledge Base for access to this folder and continue with the procedure:
309531 (http://support.microsoft.com/kb/309531/) how to access the System Volume Information folder - Insert the diskette of starting Windows XP in the floppy drive, or insert the Windows XP CD into the CD-ROM drive and restart the computer.
- Open a folder that was created not at the present time. You may need to click Details on the view menu to see when these folders were created. There may be one or more folders starting with "RPx under this folder. Here are the restore points.
- Open one of these folders to find a subfolder of the snapshot. The following path is an example of a folder path to the snapshot folder:C:\System Volume \RP1\Snapshot Information\_restore {D86480E3-73EF-47BC-A0EB-A81BE6EE3ED8}
- Starting from the Snapshot folder, copy the following files to the C:\Windows\Tmp folder:
- _REGISTRY_USER_. DEFAULT
- _REGISTRY_MACHINE_SECURITY
- _REGISTRY_MACHINE_SOFTWARE
- _REGISTRY_MACHINE_SYSTEM
- _REGISTRY_MACHINE_SAM
- Rename the files in the C:\Windows\Tmp folder as follows:
- Rename _REGISTRY_USER_. DEFAULT DEFAULT
- Rename _REGISTRY_MACHINE_SECURITY to SECURITY
- Rename _REGISTRY_MACHINE_SOFTWARE to SOFTWARE
- Rename _REGISTRY_MACHINE_SYSTEM to SYSTEM
- Rename _REGISTRY_MACHINE_SAM to SAM
- Start the Recovery Console.
- At the command prompt, type the following lines, pressing ENTER after you type each line:del c:\windows\system32\config\sam
del c:\windows\system32\config\security
del c:\windows\system32\config\software
del c:\windows\system32\config\default
del c:\windows\system32\config\system

Problem with connector hard drive to spring on T43 motherboard
My T43 (type 1875) cannot operator unless I am pressing on toward the down on the palm rest above the spring certainly drive connector. This connector seems to be designed to move upwards & downwards on two positions. 44 pin hard drive seem to connect indirectly to the motherboard via 44 springs in this assembly. This Assembly should be compressed manually for the system to communicate with the hard drive.
I do not understand the physical design of this connection? I certainly do not understand the purpose of this complicated mechanism. It is part of the protection of the hard drive?
To correct the problem, I see two possible solutions; either compress the springs, then bend the stems of alignment to maintain the State of compression, which makes electrical connections or replace the motherboard.
If someone put me on how I could fix this?
-Michael Faklis
Note of the moderator; email address removed before finding too much spam
This is common with the T4x problems and those who have not been carefully reassembled since the Council can become cracked over time especially when door one-handed from a corner as a person would natrually.
Even models 15 inches and their solid upper bezel can experiencine this issue, but the models 14 inches and the palm rest of split and are the most sensitive.
The system works when you press the right ALT just below and to the right of the trackpad?
If you took the palm rest off the power, then press the plug of the battery, it restores the operating system?
If so, you may be lucky that the Council itself cannot be cracked but it could be the connectors of taking battery BIOS on the Board and in this regard a $3 repair. Cut the connector and replace with a new one or cut and reweld to ensure that the circuit is solid.
If it is cracked, you can hold with some high quality neoprene since used neoprene "shrink as styrofoam when exposed to heat and pressure. Shim planks will run, but the added stress of ttignehtning it back together can create other pauses as you are bowing the bridge so that the stress has to go somewhere.
In addition, the system will work better if it remains stationery for a portable shim will pass when the goods are shipped under nomral conditons.
Finally, the entire system will be brick and you can save or part the rest of it.

I just started development for blackberry 10. I had developed application in the native language. But with blackberry 10 I get "no config.xml file were found at the root of the .zip file" when I run my Hello World application on emulator of the ripple.
Help is appreciated thanks.
Here what I got on emulator ripple
Here's my Helloworld project structure
Your config.xml file is probably invalid.
Copy and paste it into this XML validator. http://www.w3schools.com/XML/xml_validator.asp
If there is a training error will not be able to correctly parse.

Problems with Connector.open
I'm having a problem with the re-login to a HttpsConnection once a failure has occurred. I send a message to a php site that works 100% OK. However, if I drop the receipt when sending at the reception is retrieved Connector.open no reconnect not (even after a long wait). and gives a "java.io.InterruptedIOException: connection Local has expired" exception. The issue is not corrected until the phone is rebooted.
I use MDS to transport and endpoint certificate has a valid certificate (does not Self-signed). Before I drop the front desk, a message is sent correctly and using the console creates the following log entries:
[0,0] * start sending:
[0,0] SSL :-> CH
[0,0] SSL:<>
[0,0] SSL:<>
[0,0] SSL:<>

[0,0] * input stream of Flushing
[0,0] * Flushing DOUT
[0,0] * Flushing HC
[0,0] TLS:<-Alert -="" level="1" description="">-Alert>
[0,0] * emptied all
Once the reception has been abandoned and valued, the connection begins to open the SSL session and shows the following:
[0,0] * start sending:
[0,0] SSL :-> CH
He gets Nevers to: SSL [0,0]:<>
After the time-out period, it then returns the exception
IO exception: java.io.InterruptedIOException: Local connection timed out after ~ 15000
[0,0] * Flushing bos
[0,0] * emptied all
Of course the connection is instantiated is no longer so I can't even try his end on the connector at this stage. I also see the following in the MDS newspapers - although I'm not sure its related:

Any help or suggestions will be appreciate - I spent nearly a week debugging it and its slowly driving me crazy!
Thank you

Try to use the factory connections if you are targettin devices in 5.0 or above, it might solve the prob.

Using Oracle Weblogic 12 c with BI of Oracle 11 g 11.1.1.7.0
He seems BI 11 g is not recognize the weblogic 12 c. When installing OBI 11 g, the checkbox to select weblogic server is disabled. Even if my weblogic server is running. I did not create the field. So my question is BI of Oracle 11 g 11.1.1.7.0 is not compatible with the version 12 c?
WebLogic 12 c is not covered by 10.3.5 +, so no, not supported.
And they posted the same info in a post in space MOSC: Weblogic 12 c is not supported by 11.1.1.7
These files are the system restore registry files. Because you used the registry file that the Setup program created, this registry does not know that these restore points exist and are available. A new folder is created with a new GUID under System Volume Information and a restore point is created that includes a copy of the registry files that were copied during the first part. Therefore, it is important not to use the most recent folder, especially if the time stamp on the folder is the same at the moment.
The current configuration of the system is not aware of the previous restore points. You must have a previous copy of the registry to a previous restore point to make previous restore available again points.
The registry files that were copied to the Tmp folder in the C:\Windows folder are moved to ensure the files are available in the Recovery Console. You use these files to replace the registry files currently in the C:\Windows\System32\Config folder. By default, the Recovery Console has limited access to records and cannot copy the files in the File System Volume.
Note The procedure described in this section assume you are using your computer with the FAT32 file system. For more information on how to access the folder of information system with the NTFS file system Volume, click on the number below to view the article in the Microsoft Knowledge Base:
Part three in the third part, you delete the existing registry files, and then copy the system restore registry files to the C:\Windows\System32\Config folder:
Note Some of these command lines may be wrapped for readability.
Note This procedure assumes that Windows XP is installed in the C:\Windows folder. Make sure that replace C:\Windows with the appropriate dossier_Windows if it is a different place.
If you have access to another computer, to save time, you can copy the text in step 2, and then create a text file named "Regcopy2.txt" (for example). To use this file, run the following command when you start in Recovery Console:
