  I installed R12.1.3 on RHEL 5. 6. I need to open the oracle e-Business Forms in the RHEL 5.6 Server. Please suggest me how to open the ebs forms in the server. Is it recommended to open the forms in linux server.

  RW-50015: Error: - HTTP Listener is not responding. The service might not have started on the port yet. Please check the service and use the retry button.

  question 1: this patch has been for RHEL 5. But I have run RHEL 6. Should I apply the patch?

  Can you ping the server nomhote.nomdomaine or IP address of the client?

  Please make sure that the firewall is disabled on the server and you have a valid entry for the server in your client hosts.

  Hi all

  We have R12.2.4 EBS installed on RHEL 6.6.

  I want to install R12.1.3 EBS on that same server.

  Do all RPM RHEL 6.6 for R12.2.4 for R12.1.3 work as well?

  Or I have to download special RPM for R12.1.3.

  you are unlikely to question when installing 12.1.3, maybe you need to demote one or two packages.

• DMZ Instance EBS R12 - Login Page cannot be displayed

  Hello everyone,

  Clone an instance of EBS R12 on RHEL 6 and put on 2 new DMZ VM for iSupplier. At through different files, change the server names to reflect the new DMZ servers, and headed autoconfig. When I try to hit the new url of DMZ, it runs for a few seconds and then said: cannot display the page. I decided to take the new balancer DMZ of the equation and just point all the URLs on the host name of the server and run the autoconfig, but still the same thing. In the access log, it says:

  The value of the location above is F5 url of the internal cloned EBS I replaced in all files. I expect it to be http://externalDMZhostname.gov:23799/OA_HTML/RF.jsp?function_id=xxxxx & resp_id = 1 & resp_appl_id = 1 & security_group_id = 0 & lang_code = US & params = xxxxx & oas = xxxxx.

  Anyone know where it's getting this wrong place and how to change?

  Oracle Applications 11i (11.5.10.2) is certified on RHEL5/OEL5 (32-bit) for the application tier node. For the database layer node, you can run 10g / 11g on OEL5/RHEL5 (64-bit). Please note that it is NOT certified on Oracle9i RHEL5/OEL5 (which comes with Oracle Applications 11.5.10.2).

  Always consult the matrix (taken from the site of MOS) certification for this type of query.

  Our EBS 11i is running on server HP with OS 4.6 RHEL and a single node only. This server was purchased 6 years ago and lately it is show the performance degradation. We want to migrate/upgrade to a model like high-end HP and make a knot of multiples. But the latest HP model doesn't support a minimum version of RHEL 5.
  My question is, is the support for EBS cloning 11i RHEL 4.6 to RHEL 5? How can I migrate EBS 11i with this kind of scenario?

• The EBS R12 upgrade and solaris to linux in a one-way migration?

  Hi all, first post on this forum so bear with me.
  
  I plan on spending 11.5.10.2 Solaris (sparc) 64-bit EBS EBS R12 on RHEL 5 x 86-64 a and would like to know if I can make in a shot that is the migration and upgrade in one step or I need to go to R12 first and then migrate first and then upgrade or migrate.
  
  I understand the stages of migration and upgrade, but have not seen any documentation to support on the combination of them, someone does that?

  You can upgrade the application in the Solaris to R12 box then migrate the R12 to Linux application (since your target OS is 64-bit Linux, please note that you can not migrate the 11i application as 64-bit operating system is accredited as a layer of database for the Oracle 11i applications only).

  Hi MSK;

  For your error message, it seems that there is no published doc, who is not related to your question. As you follow doc ID of the largest post Hussein snoussi, you will see that there are no published notes again.

  ORA 600 is an internal error which means you need to take support from oracle for can solve the problem. If the problem remains constant and if you still can't open database, as Hussein snoussi suggests connect you as soon as possible a Sr.

• EBS R12 on OEL 5.4 64-bit

  I was installing EBS R12 on RHEL 4.6 successfully.
  We now have a new client with requirement EBS R12 on OEL 5.4
  And this is my first time to manage OEL 64bits.
  I managed to install the software. I can start the web login page, and I can connect to Oracle applications.
  But when I tried to click on the menu that launch forms (e.g. system administrator > Security > user > set)
  I got the error:

  FRM-92101: There was a failure in the Forms Server during startup. This could happen due to invalid configuration. 
  Please look into the web-server log file for details.

  oracle.forms.net.ConnectionException: Forms session <1> failed during startup: no response from the runtime process
