• Versions of Eclipse and total Confusion

  Well, I downloaded Eclipse Ganymede before yesterday, only to learn that it does not work with CFEclipse. Then I spent too much time looking for the Europa of Eclipse.org version. I even called the Europa Foundation, but it was a useless phone call because no one was there to answer the phone, even during normal office hours. So then I tried to delete Ganymede, reinstall it, and then install the Adobe's Eclipse plugin. That no longer works. By reviewing the messages about the Eclipse on this forum, I have now found the place where I can download Europa. (There are many more posts on the Adobe forums on Eclipse that I thought it would be!) The only question I have now is, which four versions listed on the next page can I download? Given the time and frustration, I spent on this already, I'd like a little help by downloading the correct file that actually works with CFEclipse.

  I just want to know if there is no solution to see System.out.println.

  I use neither Eclipse nor BlackBerry JDE for my development.

  I have my jar, jad files. I convert my jar file using the CAP tool. The .cod files are generated.

  I start the trainer. Now I have 2 windows: Windows Simulor and the output (see picture).

  Then I load my .cod files. But I see not all System.out.println ("...") in the output windows.

  

  How can I see these System.out.println ("...")?

• Eclipse and debug

  Hi all

  Sorry if this question was asked a million times. I'm new to programming Java, J2me and Blackberry... I started using the JDE 4.2.1 and decided to go the eclipse because of gaps JDE plugin (Code formatting was a biggie for me)... Eclipse on the other hand is a bear to get set up. My question has to do with the debugger and debugging.

  I put it in wrong place or debugging in Eclipse is miserable at best. From c# and Visual Studio, I'm used to throwing in the code debugger and showing you exactly where the unhandled exception or error is. With my current setup, I get a white screen in the Simulator with a vague description of the error. Can someone tell me please in the right direction... I really need more precise debugging.

  If you get a white screen in the Simulator with a little message so it isn't properly in debug mode; Currently, he is running without debugging.

  If you want to debug, make sure that you select Debug or click the little bug to debug, when your in debug mode, when you get to an exception, it will show u the perspective to debug and you show the battery of the code, the exact line the error occurred, and a list of variables so that you can determine what is and is not null , check if something is a value expected (i.e. true/false etc.).

• Problem with string to Long in Blackberry JDE and Eclipse w / Blackberry plugin

  I'm trying to convery a string to a long use in a persistent store.  I'm following the doc of Blackberry on the process.  When I type the chain and right click on "Convert String to Long" is gray in Eclipse and the BB JDE.

• How to install the SDK on 4.6.1 and 4.7 in the most recent Eclipse plugin version 1.5

  Hi all

  I installed the 1.5 plugin Eclipse and found that RIM has removed 4.6 and 4.7 of the Eclipse update site i.e SDK http://www.blackberry.com/go/eclipseUpdate/3.6/java.

  So how can I develop applications targeting OS versions?

  I downloaded the component modules 4.6.1 and 4.7 of the download page (http://us.blackberry.com/developers/javaappdev/javadevenv.jsp).

  If the component pack is in .zip format, I know how to install them.

  Given that they are .exe files, wondering how to install these packages in Eclipse plugin?

  Version 4.6.1 and 4.7.0 4.6.0 is longer supported as Eclipse plug-ins.  Any BlackBerry Smartphone running these versions of the software can upgrade to version 5.0.  Pre 5.0 also has very little activity App World, as shown in the stats here: https://bdsc.webapps.blackberry.com/devzone/appworld

  If you do not need to target for a specific reason, you can create using BlackBerry JDE.

• Problem signing .cod RBB key installed in JDE and CPR, RRT in Eclipse

  Hi I installed in my computer JDE and Widget Plugin for Eclipse.

  By mistake I installed the key RBB in the JDE and CPR, RRT keys in the Widget Plugin for Eclipse.

  I tried to sign the first .codfile with the eclipse and then with the JDE using java-jar SignatureTool.jar in order to apply the 3 keys that have different private key.

  But when I install the .cod in my camera, it says:

  Module 'module_name' has verification error at offset 06b 9 (codfile version 78) 190.

  The problem will be that you activated your key with the JDE and the others with the Eclipse web tools.

  You can ask [email protected] reset your keys so that you can save them again.  Explain the situation and then once they have reset key you should be able to record all three with the Eclipse web tools.

• FB4 plugin does not work with versions of Eclipse cocoa (3.5 and 3.6)

  I try to install the plugin for Flash Builder 4 in cocoa Eclipse 3.6 or 3.5 (32-bit) and they both install but I'm not able to launch the Flash view. If I install the version of Eclipse 3.5 carbon perspective Flash works. The 3.5 and 3.6 have the same error messages in the Eclipse log file. So from what I see, the Flash plugin is not supported in versions of cocoa. Is this correct? 64-bit support in the near future?

  FB4 plugin is compatible with versions of carbon of the eclipse, and the Setup program you should informed when you tried to install a version of cocoa.

  We have Fb working with cocoa in the next version of Fb (in development now), but FB4 requires carbon.

• 9068 and faster code execution and use dual-core

  Hi eveyone,

  I'm working on a project where a C library is called a vi Labview on computer target. I have two platforms Crio namely 9082 and 9068 who have two operating systems and hardware. I compiled my code with Labwindows and successfully run in the Crio 9082 in 70 Ms when I check with the distributed systems management tool, are both the active processor cores taking on 50% load.

  For the second platform Crio, namely 9068, I compiled the code even with Eclipse and run it on 9068. It works and produces the same result, but in Ms. 1400 when I check the CPU usage, a single processor takes almost 100% of load and the other is about 7%. It seems that the CPU allocation is different from 9082. I tried looping timed to manually adjust the cpu but it does not work (namely it allows only 1 cpu usage). My basic problem is to run my code faster in 9068, and of course, the problem may be different by an inefficient use of dual core in 9068. I tried different code optimizations (i.e., - O2,-O3, - Os) in Eclipse gear and they make almost no difference. Any suggestion is appreciated. Thanks in advance.

  There are compilation flags that can significantly improve the performance of point floating on the ARM. If you are not already doing so, I recommend the following (in http://www.ni.com/tutorial/14625/en/#toc5)

  (Objectives focusing on the ARM) Perform the following steps to improve the performance of the floating-point operations:

  1. Select settings under of generation C/C++ in the left pane of the Properties dialog box.
  2. In the tool settings tab, select various under the cross GCC compiler .
  3. In the text box of other flags , add a space after the existing text and type - mfpu = vfpv3 - mfloat-abi = softfp

  I am able to build and run the sample application on my target (sbRIO-9651) "hello world" described in:

  I'm not able to do, it's to my request for debugging.  I can't find the equivalent of "arm-nilrt-linux-gnueabi - gdb.exe' on my Linux host.

  Anyone know how to configure the debugger for this configuration?

  OK, I did some download and testing yesterday and today and I found a tool chain that strives to do remote debugging a c application / c++ on a sbRIO-9651 with CentOS 7 host operating system.

  You must download this Linaro Toolchain for Cortex-A

  Once on the page go in the section "Linaro Toolchain for Cortex-A" and download the second link linux "linaro-toolchain-binary (big-endian).  The binary gdb is here, so you must point towards him in the Eclipse debug configuration.

  You may need to install the library added to your operating system.

• Update error - 104 despite even signing app and the signing process

  I have an android app that I had reconditioned and deployed on a BlackBerry device. The app was built using Eclipse and minSdk 7.

  Now, I created a new version of the app Android Studio and minSdk 14.

  I use command line tools to repackage, sign, and deploy applications. When you try to update the application on the device by using the tool "Deploy BlackBerry", I get "failed - 104".» Also, in this case when I repackage both the old and the new version of app one after the other using the same tools, keys and passwords, only the input file is different. However I get error - 104 when I try to update.

  After showing the error - 104, the app is uninstalled from the device. A "deploy BlackBerry" again, the new application is installed without problems, but this isn't an update, since the old version of the app was previously uninstalled.

  What could be the reason?

  The 104 error comes in fact directly from Android.  It indicates that the APK at the BAR (not the file BAR itself) has been signed with a different certificate.  Android is blocking the update because if this difference.  You can verify the signatures used to sign the APKs by using this command:

  C:\Program Files (x86)\Java\jdk1.#.#_#\bin\jarsigner -verify -certs -verbose myApp.apk > output.txt
  

  output.txt will contain details about the certificate.  To join the APKs, you can open your files of BAR in a program such as WinZip (they are zip files) and extract them.

• Configuration of the Simulator with Eclipse

  I use version JDE 4.5 with the Eclipse editor. When I run the Simulator, Simulator of 8300

  How to set up so that another Simulator is launched? I tried to look at some options, but

• Push by MDS Simulator and Win7

  Hi all

  I have a new computer with Win7 Professional installed and I had trouble getting the BlackBerry Simulator to recognize the push in my application.  I also have my old WinXP computer that gets the push with my BlackBerry application "under development".  That is, it works on Windows XP but not on Win7.

  I use Eclipse Galileo with the BlackBerry plug-in.  Develop with BlackBerry JRE v4.6.0.23 on BlackBerry 9000 Simulator.  The MDS Simulator is installed in C:\BlackBerry Email and simulators of Services SDM 4.1.4 avoid C:\Program Files security restrictions.

  Configuration of the Simulator in the 'rimpublic.property' file is to remove the # from the line 'push.application.reliable.ports = 100' at the bottom of the file.  No other changes are made.  The MDS web server started on port 8080 (default).

  On the Windows XP computer, I start the MDS Simulator, then I start my Eclipse application and the BlackBerry Simulator starts.  I'll leave my app and open the web browser and launch a Web site (any) and I'll see the work of MDS Simulator.  That is it will be showing the entries in the window back of MDS.  It's what I expect. Then I run my application and send the thrust and everything works fine.

  On the Win7 computer, I use the same version of BlackBerry Simulator 4.1.4 the same version of Eclipse and the same version of the BlackBerry Simulator.  When I access a Web site on the BlackBerry, nothing happens in the MDS Simulator Dos window.  I get a web page, but I think something is happening in the MDS Simulator Dos window.

  That's where the problem lies, in my opinion, but I'm not sure.  Push sample instructions say to launch Web site on the BlackBerry browser to get the push to work properly.  Is this true or am I wrong interpret this?

  Also on the Win7 machine, even if the BlackBerry browser does not have it that I'm waiting on the MDS Simulator, if I push my data in any case, I see the MDS recognizing thrust.

  Long story short, my BlackBerry application will not recognize the thrust of my request to push .net on Win7, but works fine on Windows XP.

  I've been watching for the last 2 days and have largely done a search, but there is not much info on this type of problem.

  Any suggestions / help would be greatly appreciated?
