Once you have done this you will be given the choice of browser. If you do not want to change the browser, you already have IE 8.0, so I see no reason to change, then close the window and have no other problems. If you have a "Choose Browser" icon on your desktop, it can be removed.

  I just received my Revo RL80-UR23.  WIN8 booted up fine.  Went to get the usual windows updates.  All 102 of them (~ 1 GB).  Clicked on install.  During the installation of 99%, he failed and spent several hours back to before the updates.   For a while there I thought I was going to be stuck.  He would not return back and what I would do if the boot has been altered.
