• Programmatic equivalent to the Find dialog box change functions

  Hello

  Is there a reasonable programmatic equivalent of the buttons change to the Find dialog box? FDK or ARE? I have no urgency to find one, but I was going to use it if they are available. I'm looking for something simple and direct, not savages button-push-automation-routines or something like that.

  I hope this isn't a stupid question. I'm amused that after all these years, this is the first time I ever thought that the need for it.

  using 'find', you will receive a textlocation. Now, he must 'manually' change the text with oDoc.Delete (TextRange) and then insert your text replace.

  Two other things to try:

  A preferences. Reset LR, as described in this article: reset the lightroom - updated - Lightroom Forums preferences file. LR is not uncommon soil its file preferences, and when that happens, it will behave unpredictably.  (The preferences are not reset when you reinstall LR.)

  1. Release of Lightroom.
  2. Click on the Start button in the lower left corner and copy them and paste "%appdata%\Adobe\Lightroom\Preferences\Lightroom 6 Preferences.agprefs" (without the quotes) in the search box, and then type Enter. This will open the preferences file in Notepad.
  3. Change the following line: useAutoBahn = true to the useAutoBahn next = false
  4. File > Save followed by file > exit.
  5. Restart Lightroom CC/6

• Any way to make it easier for the user to find dialog boxes?

  I tried searching this question for half an hour, but for LabVIEW, "dialog" is practically a stopword (too common).  Is it possible to change the border or background of a dialog box for a button or two buttons three buttons, so that we find on a wall crowded, which can cover two or three screens?

  The short answer is that you have no control over the dialogues of button 1 or 2 native. I think the key 3 is a VI vi.lib who you might Save as and then customize.

  The best way is to use a custom VI which plays the role of a dialog box. If he opens up endless possibilities for the color, size, positioning, guests, inputs and outputs...

• Performance Options dialog box opens automatically at startup

  Since I've upgraded to Windows 7, the performance Options dialog box opens every time that I reboot.  He seems to be indicating that I have no file exchange of value.  I edited this dialog box in every way that I can think - choose to automatically manage paging file size, defining a custom format, etc. and changes I made seem to be accepted.  However, the next time that I reboot, it becomes the performance Options dialog box.  Help!

  Welcome to the Microsoft answers site.

  This could be a problem if advanced security file [AFS] also known as the Andrew File System option is enabled on the computer, disabling this option help you solve the problem.

  Follow the steps to disable the option below:
  1. click on Start.
  2 type CMD.exe in the search to start.
  3. right click the command prompt.
  4. click on run as administrator.
  5. type the following command: sc config afs start = disabled [Note that there is no space after the start, but there is a after =].

  Now, restart the computer and check if the paging files mentioned above always appears at startup or not.

  I recently followed instructions from this forum on the removal of invalid index locations; I have rebuilt the index. Unfortunately, an external drive that had been indexed throughout without asking me, is not be indexed now.  When I followed the instructions from Microsoft on the addition of the search location, I get no answer to by clicking "Edit" in the dialog box indexing options. ; nothing happens.

  Oh without a doubt the fault is mine. Last minute search / replacement of a site, by request of the customer. (No matter WHAT last-minute editing is not asking, it's begging, in trouble, but it is also real life.)
