Editable with table/model problem

Hello
I'm having a strange problem with my page, and being new dreamweaver I don't know what is happening.
I created a template for my Web site and the template seems to work ok, but in my editable region, I get a huge space in my table. I can't find the source of this gap, I went through the code but nothing is jumping on me as bad. It was built in Dreamweaver CS3 V9.0 Build 3481.

After reviewing the code once again, I see what you're talking about. I started cleaning up the page and his work/research better now (although I broke my menus spry in the process). Thanks for the help!

    I hope I can get help here because I'm increasingly frustrated. I use Ver 1.5 body w / Matrox hardware since 2004 and was well. I just upgraded to CS4 that I need to edit AVCHD, HDV widescreen and mix in with high-end DV video. Summer at this for almost 2 months, but the decline in self-confidence.

    I built my own computer editing, hoping that all the pain of waiting for the render would be greatly reduced. Not true, or I'm doing something wrong.

    My specs are:

    System: Windows 7 Pro 64 bit. on a drive of 80 GB system with Program files;

    Mobo: Asus P5B-E with the Intel Quad Core 9650 3 GHz processor,

    "4-band matched 2 Gig DDR2-800 memory,

    2 x hotswap removable 250G SATA for the video work captured files;

    2 x fixed 160G IDE on a PCI card to contain the export files.

    The DVD writer is an ASUS DRW - 2024 Lightscribe SATA

    Graphics card: Asus EAH3450 PCIe with 2 Sony displays connected via a cable 15 pin RGB.

    Edge HD sound turn off to a digital JVC Media coaxial 5.1 amplifier.

    My PROBLEM IS NOT NOT EDITING, BUT AFTER.

    1. I can't exit product again through the Adobe Dynamic Link. No reaction at all!

    I get error messages saying that there is a compatibility issue, but no other explanation. So I hope I can try another way, which should prove to be an AVI file, for each job and burn it to DVD with Nero 9. Is not the case.

    2. a simple 19 minutes after rendering sequence will go via Media Encoder but believed initially more than six hours to convert AVI Windows, but the time goes slowly never increase and then freeze the mouse an hour!

    I have three orders waiting to be burned to DVD from a combination of 3 AVCHD 1 and 2 DVCAM video tracks and titles, but can't get any further, mainly because of this problem I mentioned. Two of the jobs that I have edited are productions of music about 2 hours. Can you imagine that the first time I tried to put it through the Media Encoder, I got an estimate of 79 hours to complete? I can't believe it is the fault of CS4 and I am all of these ideas, after trying different combinations in Media Encoder.

    I want to just burn a DVD Double face, preferably with 5.1 encoding, for each job, does not...

    I never had this problem with Agency V.1.5 and then... I had a simple single core Pentium 4 3.2 Gig on an ASUS P5GDC-V!

    Can you suggest me a better workflow more suited to CS4? I'm also less good resolution as the quality of shoot. 16:9 comes out too skinny! I guess I'm doing everything wrong... What I did different from the worm PPRo would 1.5 I?

    It can be many things causing this. I suggest you only start with two things:

    1 run the http://ppbm4.com test and submit the results for Bill (and possibly the output.txt file send me a private mail or report here)

    2. follow this link: suggestions and proceed to the second included link and provide the requested information, etc. DXDIAG.txt.

    I hope someone could help me with probably a stupid mistake on my part. It is with a site that I just started to work again; www.starprecision.com. I hope that you may think it is obvious as to why:

    1. There is a turn to the left for the 'home' page, "company > job opportunities" and "society > contact us" regarding other pages. This, for example, occurs in opera and FireFox. However not in IE7.

    2. the rectangular dashed line of the graphics will appear around the "prev" and "next" buttons when they are pressed in IE7 and FireFox, but not in opera.

    3. the recovery site will not yet be at the point in the Safari.

    4. I want to redo the site based on a model of css. We suggest a model for this site?

  • Calc problem with fact table measure used in the bridge table model

    Hi all

    I have problems with the calculation of a measure of table done since I used it as part of a calculation in a bridge table relation.

    A table of facts, PROJECT_FACT, I had a column (PROJECT_COST) whose default aggregate is SUM. Whenever PROJECT_COST was used with any dimension, the appropriate aggregation was made at appropriate levels. But, no more. One of the relationships that project_fact is a dimension, called PROJECT.

    PROJECT_FACT contains details of employees, and every day they worked on a project. So for one day, employee, Joe, could have a PROJECT_COST $ 80 to 123 project, the next day, Joe might have $40 PROJECT_COST for the same project.

    Dimension table, PROJECT, contains details of the project.

    A new feature has been added to the software - several customers can now be charged to a PROJECT, where as before, that a single client has been charged.
    This fresh percentage collapse is in a new table - PROJECT_BRIDGE. PROJECT_BRIDGE has the project, CUSTOMER_ID, will BILL_PCT. BILL_PCT always add up to 1.

    Thus, the bridge table might look like...
    CUSTOMER_ID BILL_PCT PROJECT
    123 100.20
    123 200.30
    123 300.50
    456 400 1.00
    678 400 1.00

    Where to project 123, is a breakdown for multiple clients (. 20,.30.50.)

    Let's say in PROJECT_FACT, if you had to sum up all the PROJECT_COST for project = 123, you get $1000.


    Here are the steps I followed:

    -In the physical layer, PROJECT_FACT has a 1:M with PROJECT_BRIDGE and PROJECT_BRIDGE (a 1:M) PROJECT.
    PROJECT_FACT = > PROJECT_BRIDGE < = PROJECT

    -In the logical layer, PROJECT has a 1:M with PROJECT_FACT.
    PROJECT = > PROJECT_FACT

    -Logical fact table source is mapped to the bridge table, PROJECT_BRIDGE, so now he has several tables, it is mapped (PROJECT_FACT & PROJECT_BRIDGE). They are defined for an INTERNAL join.
    -J' created a measure of calculation, MULT_CUST_COST, using physical columns, which calculates the sum of the PROJECT_COST X the amount of the percentage in the bridge table. It looks like: $ (PROJECT_FACT. PROJECT_COST * PROJECT_BRIDGE. BILL_PCT)
    -J' put MULT_CUST_COST in the presentation layer.

    We still want the old PROJECT_COST autour until it happened gradually, it is therefore in the presentation layer as well.


    Well, I had a request with only project, MULT_CUST_COST (the new calculation) and PROJECT_COST (the original). I expect:

    PROJECT_COST MULT_CUST_COST PROJECT
    123. $1000 $1000

    I'm getting this for MULT_CUST_COST, however, for PROJECT_COST, it's triple the value (perhaps because there are quantities of 3 percent?)...

    PROJECT_COST MULT_CUST_COST PROJECT
    123 $1000 (correct) $3000 (incorrect, it's been tripled)

    If I had to watch the SQL, you should:
    SELECT SUM (PROJECT_COST),
    SUM (PROJECT_FACT. PROJECT_COST * PROJECT_BRIDGE. BILL_PCT),
    PROJECT
    Of...
    PROJECT GROUP


    PROJECT_COST used to work properly at a table of bridge of modeling.

    Phew, what a long question!

    If I understand correctly, I think the problem is with your old measure of cost, or rather that combines with you a new one in the same request. If you think about it, your request as explained above will bring back 3 rows from the database, that's why your old measure of cost is multiplied. I think that if you took it out of the query, your bridge table would work properly for the only new measure?

    I would consider the migration of your historical data in the bridge table model so that you have one type of query. For historical data, each would have a single row in the bridge with a 1.0 BILL_PCT.

    I'm editing a table to add columns, and ORA-01792 receiver: maximum number of columns in a table or view is 1000. The table of the altar will be no more than 1000 columns. The environment is RHE5 Oracle 11.2. ALTER statement adds a lot of columns in the table, but when I do a manual change to add a dummy column it works, after that, if I run the original the change works!

    What is a table compressed with unused columns?

    This may explain the error with the limit of 1000.

  • Problem of "Edit with Photoshop..."

    If I had to guess, I have a kind of feeling that it is a problem of ACR... in fact, it must be. I wrote that, I decided to try editing a jpg in PS file and that worked well.

    But I don't have the problem at a time. RAF and. NEF files...

    I guess I could try a manual install of the latest version of ACR, but would like to know if this can be done manually with the new subscription system Adobe?

    I just wanted to know if you guys know... I created a server with a model Win2008 R2 Win2008... I am for problems later? I spend 2 days creaating my server Win 2008 my Spec (slow server) and realized when I went to create another server that I may have used the model R2. Since I had rather not scrap the whole VM now after 2 days of building, I just wonder if im in trouble more late in which case I prefer now to scrap it and start over. PS what is the diff between the R1 and R2 model?

    The OS option basically defines the Virtual Machine Monitor (VMM) that ESX uses to run your virtual machine image upwards.  It provides the abstraction of the hardware for your operating system software.  There are differences depending on the options, but they are the material differences.  For example, you want to ge the scsi controller LSI Logic SAS for 2008, where, for 2003, you will have the parallel LSI Logic.  And you will get a disk of 40 GB by default for 2008, where he will be 8 GB for 2003.  Just, I compared the two side by side (2008 vs. 2008 R2) and sees not all differences in material that is configured for the virtual machine.

  • Repetition of groups nested in a single table - model RTF

    I have a little problem with RTF models. I try to use 2 recurring groups within a single table, but everything I'm not get data for the fields of the outer loop, or still getting only one record of the loop internal.

    It is a model of report of cash requirements. My expandable outside group is G_VENDOR and internal is G_INVOICE. I'm at the stage where I pasted the table with the G_INVOICE details in another table (with the NAME of the SELLER in the first field). This has however a drawback - it is not to repeat the name of the seller if there is more than one G_INVOICE in G_VENDOR. I don't want tables repeated for each provider, one with all the data.

    I had SR Oracle open, but they seem not to be very useful, makes me think it is a bug and not fixed will never be. I know that the XML flatenning would be an option, but I don't want be to redevelop all alone I need template for reports.

    Someone has an idea?

    Ideally you would be that flatten, but if you are inside the loop of invoice you can still access the fields of the outer loop by changing the form field and by prefixing with... /.

    If basically as you can judge by the code, this little program is supposed to ask the user for input on the number of items it wants to store in the table. And then on the user input value, the size of the array will be defined so that it will ask you to store as many elements he needed.

    The problem is, if I want to store 5 items for example, I type in 5 and I can store only 4 points. I thought that the paintings were supposed to start with an index of 0, so if I put 5 be stored 5 items (from 0 to 4), but instead it stores only 4... What could be the problem? First I thought it was the loop and published as "I < = items.length" but there was an OutOfBounds exception or something.

    I would appreciate your help, I need a detailed explanation that I want to understand how things work once and for all.

    Do you use ViewCriteria to build your af:query with table, if yes, go to your ViewObject, then select your viewCriteria and click edit, and then open the data of the user interface tab, then check the query automatically .

  • Addition of the new Image and text to an existing Page created with Tables

    I try to add a new image/link and a small amount of text to an existing web page that was created with tables and centered.  I use AP div tags. One for the image and one for the text.  Everything works fine, but I can't get the new anchor points and to re - center with the rest of the page.  I'm not able to get around the "absolute positioning".  I tried different solutions of various tutorials but I can't make them work with tables.

  • Need help with the model number.

    OK I clearly did something wrong with setting up my first model within DW.  I created a page full index and is a model.  I did it because other then the two part main content area.  My site will remain substantially the same from one page to another.  If everything was going ok at first.  I had my model appear on the start page as it should. Then, I went and created a group of pages.  I quickly realized that all changes I made where the happingin across all pages.  Except for the text, for some reason any.  If I removed a div or a background image, it changed in all areas.  Then, I went back to the start page and noticed that I missed an option that says: you want to save the content of the pages.  Décliqués the box and I thought I solved the problem.  I then noticed that nothing has changed.  I have problem that seems to happen every time I have to create a page that might be the problem.  Any time I try to save a page in html, I get a box that appears every time.  The following document uses this file not on the site.  He then shows the main.css file.  I then click on him and he copys above.  Then, I lost half of my page content.  my main.css file is in a seprate folder.  I'm clearly one and was part of the creation of my index template.

    This is why I do not work with models. Unless you properly define the editable regions, what you do in the main model will arrive at the same place on every page that you create from the template.

    Better to create a straight html page and call the template.html, then use it as the page from which you create and save the rest of your site in my humble OPINION.

    There are others who swear by the models, but I built nearly 500 sites and one never made it with a model. It has caused me so much headache I dropped it before I have made and never looked back.

    I am quite puzzled, how to use a bookmap to create a full PDF with table of contents to FM9? Everyone (well almost...) wants to OCD but I found nothing in the help and did not try it myself. It seems that I would need to insert a table of contents in the frontmatter section.

    Please excuse if there is already a thread, a link would be useful I have search but can't find this problem in the forum. Maybe it's so simple that I'm the only guy to have problems.

    I also read in FM10 help but found nothing there either. All information is available from adobe at all? Update to FM10 would be an option if needed.

    FM-DITA (any version) does not support the automatic generation of a table of contents, Index, etc. a bookmap book lists entry. To create a generated list, you must manually add this element in the generated directory file and regenerate your book. You'll want to do it anyway so that you can assign paging and numbering and apply special models. This procedure is still the best way to manage the map of generating the address of the DITA standard FM...

    Other hand (here is the sales pitch)... If you use DITA-FMx, it is provided automatically. Once you have set up the INI file of book-building with the properties and characteristics in the book, lists of books that add you to the bookmap will become good listings and all your pagination and numbering is applied correctly (in addition to loads of other features).

    Is this feasible with 'Table to a spreadsheet string' function or do I have to use a loop for format in this way?
