  I had a similar problem and it turned out to be because I did not create a new profile in the AVG 8.5 Internet Security firewall.  I just use the "update to current settings" option, which didn't work.

  Then, open the AVG firewall, select the small home or office (if not already done) network profile, and then click the Configuration Wizard. Make sure that you select the option to create a configuration profile and when it's done you shoud be able to share OK without receiving the error "shared folder is not available".

  Keep in mind that WordPerfect 7 is a very old version - eight versions. Usually very old versions of almost any program do not work on newer versions of Windows. I don't know about you, but I suspect that you must upgrade to a newer version of WordPerfect.
