EDMX generation no relationships (EF 6.1.3 Orcle-NuGet 12.1.022, Oracle DB 12 c)

The following starting situation:

2 simple tables with one relationship to the other via an ANTRAGNR

Path to reproduction

1. create the new empty WinForms project

2. install Oracle-und EF-NuGet-Package

3 update EF

4 restart/reconstruction

5. create the new EDMX file

6 choose DB-First

At this point, very often crashes the Wizard (although the overall Solution has been built before)!

7. choose the data source

8 choose Tables

9. new EDMX:

10. without relationships:

Now my 2 questions: why hangs the wizard always without comment, and why the relationship went?

The problem might be how Assistant ODP.NET and EDM interact with Oracle DB version you used. It's a very strange problem.

It is more difficult to debug without a reproducible test case.

Oracle 10g is two generations old, so you will not find all these virtual machines of Oracle...

Just download the VMs to get the latest version of DB or create your own virtual machines and install Oracle 10 g in them to create your own template.

Error in custom ESS Type Java job

I am creating a java ess employment custom in the center of merger accounting a sper note id: 1367527.1.

When I run the work I'm getting following error - "ask the treatment resulted in an error with the message below.
' ERROR: PREPROCESS_SYSTEM_ERROR '.

The jar file is present in the lib folder and metadata of employment has been created with a custom/subledgerAccounting/interface/program path. Please note that jobs PLSQL custom who use this route to work.

Hi all

Could you please help me understand where I can download the ExtendOUCSSPortal.zip to extend the portal OUCSS.
Currently I use JDev 11.1.1.6.

As per the ' Oracle Utilities Customer Self Service - white paper: Customize and extend portal OUCSS "I am unable to find the ExtendOUCSSPortal.zip of anywhere."

Should I ask Oracle to give this workspace with the required information.

Rename data files in the DATABASE DUPLICATE RMAN

There are several methods of specification of new names to use for your database duplicate data files. Listed in order of precedence, they are:

Use the RMAN SET NEWNAME command for DATA file within a RUN block that surrounds the SET NEWNAME commands both DUPLICATE the order.

Use the RMAN command CONFIGURE AUXNAME to specify the new name of the existing data files. Run the CONFIGURE AUXNAME command before the command DUPLICATE.

Specify the parameter DB_FILE_NAME_CONVERT on ordering DUPLICATE to specify a rule to convert filenames to data not renamed with the VALUE of NEWNAME or CONFIGURE AUXNAME files.

Note:
DUPLICATE the DB_FILE_NAME_CONVERT the command clause cannot be used to control the generation of new names for the files to duplicate instance that are Oracle-managed files (OMF) to the target instance. For more information about this restriction, see Oracle database backup and recovery Reference.

Set the DB_FILE_NAME_CONVERT initialization parameter.

Note:
The DB_FILE_NAME_CONVERT initialization parameter cannot be used to control the generation of new names for the files to duplicate instance that are Oracle-managed files (OMF) to the target instance. It is subject to the same semantics and limitations as DUPLICATE DB_FILE_NAME_CONVERT parameter to the command. He see reference recovery and backup of Oracle database for more details.

Set DB_CREATE_FILE_DEST initialization parameter to create Oracle managed files data files at the specified location.

If you do not use the previous options, then the duplicate database reuses the locations of original data file of the target database.

IO is a result of worload. Reduce the related and e/s will be less.

How to reduce a SQL workload is - a? The obvious methods that come to mind are:
-data model appropriate (thus eliminating the 2NF, EAV data model relationships, etc.)
-correct the data physically model implementation in Oracle (for example using tables organized indexes, partitioned tables, clusters, etc.)
-an effective indexing strategy that creates optimal I/O paths
-well designed the SQL and PL/SQL code

Trying to solve a performance problem to the bottom layer first, as in the I/O storage layer, is a wrong approach. Performance and scalability is a descendant of the approach that begins with the design of the system. Not with the h/w is used.

Also, please ensure that the document settings in B2B is corresponding with the incoming load.
During the scenario out, if you use the internal properties, remove them and let the details of envelope be chosen in B2B himself.

In my database, I am not enabled auditing, but generate files in the adump directory.
Here is the result of the setting see checking the

EF 6.1.3 first-generation EDMX during Code execution

We use Code first Entity Framework 6.1.3 (MSSQL 2014) and had problems with the performance of LINQ queries.

The first query would take 3.5secs after you apply the fix suggested on https://www.fusonic.net/en/blog/3-steps-for-fast-entityframework-6.1-code-first-startup-performance/ here

It worked and now it is 1.5 seconds. We are still working with views pre-generated to LINQ calls less than 1 sec.

I download the patch on codeplex.com and compiled EF. This has been fixed in EF released by Microsoft? or other alternatives?

How to automatically generate associations in the EDMX using Entity Framework 'database first'?

Hello. I'm new on Entity Framework and the database that I connect Oracle 10 g. I develop using Visual Studio 2015, ODAC 12 c version 4 with the installed Visual Studio Tools and EF 6.1.3. I am generation an EDMX model from an existing database. In the Visual Studio wizard, I select the existing tables that have relationships of foreign key between them. The resulting EDMX contains the tables and their columns, but no association. I tried to do this using the code first of all existing database Wizard, and the results are similar: classes for the tables and column properties, but still no association or the properties of a class to contain instances of another. Should I be not expecting associations to be created automatically? Is there something I missed?

I'm back in it and found out what the problem was. Before you create the entity data model, I had to have the connection already defined in Server Explorer * using the ODP.NET* provider.
