  I have a button that I am the creation of 2 clips in the library. One is the button body (converted to MC form).

  The 2nd is a series of button logo to PNG for a change of State of button, Visual additional.

  I add the MC logo with addChild to the body of the button. Then I add the body of the button to the display/scene container.

  Everything is set correctly.

  If I add alpha / transform the color on the body of the button, it goes to the top - covering the button logo.

  Do not apply color or alpha to the regulator button and apply a color or an alpha for the logo of the button has no effect (poster correctly).

  It is not clear to me what you're trying to do.  If you place the logo as a child of the body, then whatever you do to the body will be afftect the logo.  If you want to only affect the body and not the logos, so you need to add two objects as children separated a third objection, which acts as the container for the two.  You can separately affect changes to the body.

• Bug report: timecode decorative effect via export drifts out of sync

  Hi guys,.

  When QCing output with timecode overlay , I had made for my composer, I noticed that the TC had slipped close to 2 seconds at the end of a piece of min 30. This had been made using the practical effect of "Layering of Timecode" in the export settings.

  Application of the effect in the mounting clips / on without derive an image, however.

  Here is a screenshot with superposition of TC made the timeline [upper-left] and in the export parameters [low] - you can see drifted ahead of the program of transport CANADA.

  I can repro this problem in CC7.2.2 but not CC2014.1.

  I don't know exactly which version you use, and I don't know exactly what version the bug has been fixed in, but that the problem is solved in 8.1.

  edited to add: on the second glance, I see that you said clearly you're on 7.2.2. Sorry for the oversight.

• Video effect in Premiere Pro CS6 timecode problem?

  If poster is similar to the description for the question people have been seen in 5.5.  Here are the details...

  • New installation, make the leap from FCP, first opened PPCS6 facility.

  • Source footage introduced as DVCPRO HD 720 p at 60 frames per second. any in the new sandbox, then to the timeline in sequence 1... works perfectly.

  • New transparent clip on track over the images, extended length full production.  Apply video effects > timecode to the transparent clip.

  • I see the reticle and dark translucent box positioning and indicator field... but no turnover number, even after having made.

  Just need to make a TC of the film burn and I spent half a day trying to get the burn to work.

  Any ideas?

  Don't thanks for your reply, however, no results, same problem.  However, I think I can found root cause is... this issue be a designer, I have too much (managed through the information manager) installed fonts with a conflict here and there, and I had to use "helvetica" of my client and other policies from time to time.  I have activated an account on my computer (nice and clean fonts & settings) have pulled up the same document in first and BOOM rolling timecode is displayed.  So with this solution in hand, my thought is somewhere I have damaged/lost the police in my basic account that uses the first to generate timecode.  I wish there was a setting I could change into effect video timecode to choose what the police is used... maybe you might spend on product development?  Or you know precisely what the police, he uses the video effect TC?

  In any case, thanks for your answer... now I'm off to go see if I can solve the problem of fonts in my basic user account.

• How can I disable code timecode burn in

  I'm up to page 140 of the manual, methodically working my way through the creation and tried to burn timecode in. Worked well. But how do I turn it off? No explanaiton anywhere in the manual or online that I can find.

  This timecode thing has confused me. My GH2 was no timecode that AFAIK. Timecode appears in all the senses first. On p141 the manual, he said: "If you have the Source Panel selected, the timecode panel displays timecode source.» Well, I didn't have my a timecode source, but the timecode is displayed. Why?

• Timecode burn in to the Mac?

  I have about 40 min of 50 files of MXF LongGOP MB disc Nanoflash I want to cook in a BluRay or burn DVDs with a timecode window displays the timecode of the first CS 5.0.2 using original material.

  My approach was to all files drag a sequence, nest this sequence in the new sequence, drop the timecode on the new sequence effect and make the but the time code displayed just refers to the nested sequence and not the original timecode of source files themselves even if I select 'media' of the source of the timecode.  I get the same results when trying to apply a transparent video layer timecode burn.

  I can select all the files in the original order and then drag and drop the effect time code on them but default to "clip" as the source of the timecode, and it seems that I have to change for each unique clip (not practical).

  Any suggestions?

  Add clips to your timeline. Apply the timecode effect to the first clip, change of source to the media. Applied copy the timecode effect selections several remaining clips, paste.

  I swear in CS6, I used to be able to switch the source of dedicated timecode window looked at using the small window menu key (ie. the program source for each video track). I can't work for the life of me how to do this first DC now! Am I missing something really obvious? Currently, when I opened the window of time code (Menu > window > timecode) it displays the time code of the calendar program. I want to see rather the timecode source of the video sitting on a runway in particular instead. (Yes, I know that I can put a time on it filter, but for this I'm trying to synchronize to the top of many small clips so I already use the filter on my top layer - I just need to know what the bottom layer is read).

  I recently have been doing some memory problems and questions-exporter etc and wanted to know if my effective resolution is well above 300 who asks the questions.

  Resampling is set in Photoshop. ID scales only, that's why you see the actual resolution.

  In photoshop, you can use the same pixels to create a really big image (physical dimensions) at 72 DPI or a smaller physical size at a higher resolution. If you record at 72 dpi, the bishoprics of preview ID is essentially the same size as the image itself, while if you save at 1200 dpi preview will be greatly sous-échantillonnées (and it will look like in typical preview mode to identity card).

  With respect to the scaling in ID, my feelings are that the scale is OK when the result will take you to the beach target for your desired effective resolution (i.e. it is not a big problem, enlarge a 1200 dpi image to get an effective resolution of 300 ppi or reduce an image of 100 ppi for 300 effective ppi) Although a lot of people will tell you it's better to do the scaling in Photoshop (and I'm usually in this camp for high-end work) to be able to fix the sharpening, etc.. Ideally, your images will be on your page inside more or less 10% of the target effective ppi, but it would be better to be a little down to cadence in Photoshop. Downsampling in Photoshop or ID to output will result in still a certain lack of details and if the effective resolution is too high you will be downsampling output, thus, nothing is taken for granted by usingf images that are too large, and your performance will suffer.

  If your desired resolution is 300 ppi and your effective resolution is 4500 PPI, you should really be resizing in Photoshop.

  Drivers designed for laptops are changed and adapted to provide performance fairly, but not to force a graphics card to run on the limit. As you probably know there are big difference between office and mobile graphics cards.

  Desktop graphics cards have no limits with cooling and drivers can be updated very often. Design of portable computers is completely different and all hardware components are placed on the square. The common problem with laptops is to design the system of cooling, small but effective.
  Because of all these reasons, display drivers must be tested and adapted by the laptop manufacturers. The main point is to protect the material. The same situation is with other manufacturers of graphics card. They don't offer drivers for laptops.

  If your graphics card will blow that will be responsible for this Toshiba or Intel?

  By the way: Satellite Pro U300 is for me a laptop of small business and certainly not designed for games. Do you agree with me?

• Qosmio F750: Ghosting can mean faulty display?

If I run the utility x-tune in the "professional" mode, I see a green clear picture by closing one eye and if I close the other eye, I indeed see a (supposed) red zone, but there are still some huge "greenish" visible areas.   I think that ghost effect is nothing unusual in the vast world of LCD Panel.
  I have a 42 LCD TV and a slight ghosting effect is visible... more inside display area
  I've been reading about such effect, and it's nothing unusual. Sometimes it s more visible on a black background.

  Not sure about your problem maybe you should get in touch with a Toshiba ASP in your country to check

  But the effects of ghosting are common for LCDs regardless of production or product...

• After effects CC2015 not visually refreshing (until prompted)

• After effects CC2014 crashes when I try to open any project

  While I was working today, After Effects crashed and gave me the messages displayed below, and now I get the same messages (with a different < 3236 > number) whenever I try to open a project. I have tried rebooting, uninstalling/reinstalling After Effects, purging the memory and all of the cache manually, uninstall the plugin only I installed in the last days (element v2.0.7), using the file > open menu (instead of opening recently) command and the opening of the Explorer; I have not updated any drivers, or anything else today. I can open these same projects on other computers without any problem, both on PC and Mac. And I can import a project, works normally, then save and open this new project, but I don't think safe to do this for important/big projects. I also now lost for an hour and a half waiting for someone in the chat to.

  First launch After Effects and uncheck the box (if enabled) Mersury delivery option in the Edit menu > Preferences > video previews

  Also in the Edition Menu > Preferences > Previews, check in the GPU information. If it is on the GPU for CPU part or else ignore.

  Try to rename the folder After Effects OLD_After effects on the slot location. Make sure that After Effects is closed.

  C:\Users\username\AppData\Roaming\Adobe

  AppData is a hidden folder.

• When I paste a picture with reversal do not copy my effects of rounded corners.
