Effects of HAVE it: pen against the Gaussian blur? who is raster or vector?

I'm looking at feathers against the blur. in illustrator, effect of the menu drop down.

what I have, I understand the Gaussian Blur/Blur in photoshop effects (in illustrator) will Pixelize the gradation from the edge, but the effect Illustrator 'feather, will keep this vector, is this correct?

sample here they both look the same to me, and I noticed that the feather effect was Gaussian blur to the edge still to produce its result.

from what I see I should be able to make one of these more bigger than a billboard and they would all be two smooth yet degraded being? or Blur Gaussian would cause pixelation unless I got the vector object correctly dimensioned in the document in the first place to fit the display panel.

what I'm trying to ask is how they work,

my view is it HAVE "feathers" will allow resizing of the form of the vector object to any size and not be pixelated in print.

where under the PS Gaussian blur effect, you must make sure that your object is correctly dimensioned on the correct paper size to make sure it prints smoothly.

any comment is good...

AI_feather_versus_blur.png

Feather starts at the edge of the object and goes inland.

GBlur starts at the edge of the object and goes towards the inside and the outside.

Pen will not increase the size (preview) of the original object.

G - Blur will increase the size of the object (preview) of 50% of the value of the GBlur.

You're blurring the image so that you see the edges between the values. This may be exaggerated by the profile of your document, display profile and some (especially cheaper and portable) poster.

In 16 bits per channel images, you can a quantification of see it because the screen is only 8 bits, even if the data of the image doesn't have visible measures.

It is not an artifact - simply a consequence of create really smooth color gradients, and your eye is good at finding edges.

This is called 'banding' or 'quantization' and can be minimized by adding a small amount of noise to the image.

  • What measures are taken in the first for the Gaussian blur?

It is likely, not a software problem that gives me the error message "unable to complete the command Blur Gaussian because of a program error" when pressing the Gaussian blur option.  The Gaussian blur affects designs or features that they are placed on a layer?

Yes, you will get an error that something like could not be completed

because no pixel is selected, if you run the filter and most of the other one

transparent layer is empty. (in any case this is what the message says and more

  • Problem with the Gaussian blur?

Hey forum, every time I simply change the color of the text in Illustrator CS5, the loading window bar appears and says he's working on the application of a Gaussian blur to the text, but nothing happens after. Changes the color of the text, but that's all. No blurring is Gaussian, nothing. A major nuisance trying to change only the color of the text, especially when you're as indecisive as me... Simple and easy suggestions? I'm sure I forgot something, but I always still to understand what it is.

  • Gaussian blur effect causing of the black frames when rendering.

I'm only using an effect in my video, it is the Gaussian blur, and in the Viewer, it shows the effect, but it shows black frames randomly within the Builder Preview, I thought it was just a random previewer problem.

I then made the video but when the blur effect is applied is to show black executives at random in the video.

Talked to customer support and found out it was an effect of Gaussian blur twice on the same chassis as the cause for trouble some sigh *.

But thanks for the info on the media cache, I did know about this.

  • Lack of tools for Fast-Blur, Gaussian blur effect...

    Hey there,

I use first Pro CC and I was about to hide an object in my video with the effect of blur-Fast (Schneller Weichzeichner in German and can be seen in the attached picture).

But when I apply this effect to my video it shows me any tool with which I could apply. It's the same with any blur effect, such as the Gaussian blur.

These tools should be just above the adjuster from 0 to 127. Any idea?

    Thank you

If you want to use the mask tool you need to update to CC2014 (8.2). Looks like you're atill on CC7.

  • How to preview/adjust the filter blur?

Photoshop blur filter, I see the effects, but I don't see the image of the filter.

I can see how grafic and effect at the same time?

    Thank you

    Silvano

Yes, because it's a filter without a frame. He just blurs the image a little more than a fixed amount.

If you want to blur to an image with more control, select one of the other filters with an ellipse behind.

And usually when we say "fuzzy" an image, you want to use the Gaussian blur. (but they are all different and have their own purposes...)

  • in a photo on gradient background Gaussian blur

Hello. Using PS CS4 on XP.

I'll be back just a job with the company of printer & I notice some lines that do not appear on my impression here (on the printer color xerox machine) to compare. I didn't really catch on the evidence either, but they used a proof of epson and we printed on 100 # a text for the final.

What I have going is a background gradient (using the shape layer and gradient layer style effect), white to a light tan. Up and down on a regular letter size sheet. In the upper right corner, I have a picture of a face that had light Tan even in the background. I fell this image in the background gradient using Gaussian blur. It is not very sensitive in the file, but I can tell it's there... you really focus your eyes to see, but there is a line that goes around the image where the Gaussian Blur is. I will attach a picture of the edge. I guess what I'm saying is not smooth - the edges of the image being blurred in the gradient background, but printed on a regular printer, it seems smooth. Is that what I can do to avoid this problem in the future?

Thanks for any advice. I am considering Gaussian blurs no more...

    Untitled-1.jpg

The TIFF makes all the difference - the problem became clear: the mask is not pure black right at the edge of the image of the man.

A slight curves on the mask operation covers the edge.  Note that I moved the black point slightly.

  • Gaussian blur Keyframing

    Hey all,.

I'm trying to blur a video clip using the Gaussian blur effect and keyframes.  I want to so I placed four keyframes on each side of the section blurred the blur that part of the clip.  KF2, KF1 = 0 = 50, KF3 = 50 and KF4 = 0.  For some reason any my whole clip shows that blurred in the program monitor so that it is all of the time.  Looks like I'm doing something wrong...

    Thanks in advance.

It remains unclear when the EMT equipment is turned off?

    Or

    duplicate clip

    overlay

    Add an opacity mask

    Add blur

  • The quick Blur plug

I was watching a tutorial on Creative Cow by Andrew Devis, and he said that he had blur accelerated as a plug-in for Premiere Pro.  I have a fuzzy accelerated for AE, but not in Pre Pro.  He used the CS5, CS4.

Is there a blur accelerated for CS4, and if there is, can I get it?

On the Mac, inside the Pro Pre folder, when I right click the Pr Pro application do the Show Package Contents > content > plugin and the plugins and I do not see it.

    Thank you

    Fast Blur is Windows only

    Use the Gaussian blur.

  • Do not adjust Gaussian blurs.

My colleague just told me that he doesn't think that the Gaussian blur effects are scaled. I asked him if he had verified preference and it does. I ran a test myself, a simple box with a Gaussian blur effect added, and then put the box 50% wide. The effect did not apply.

This is because the Photoshop type effects are rasterized and not vectorized.

Illy was mobbed to include pixelation effects and filters, but she doesn't really understand them.

  • Problem with Gaussian blur filter

For some reason any when I try to use the Gaussian blur filter the cursor changes to this (a sort of box empty):

    Picture1.png

And there is no filter window to control the amount of blur. The only thing I can do is press "Enter" to accept the default Gaussian blur. Anyone know how to fix this? How can I do to return the missing window?

    Hi idangoor,

What version of Photoshop are you using?

Access the tool of filter > blur > Gaussian blur.

Try increasing your screen resolution and if you use two monitors, try to go from Photoshop to the other monitor.

    Kind regards

  • Gaussian Blur is missing in the function of the effect in artificial intelligence from adobe cc 2015?

    Dear all,

I need your help if someone knows this.

I can see is more Gaussian blur in the function of the effect, and I am unable to use it now.

I was see a few error messages when I open the app to CC, please kindly advise how to retrieve and why this has happened...

my system is Windows 7, the reason for this?

Thank you very much for your advice.

Try restarting HAVE while pressing the command (Ctrl) - Opt (Alt) - SHIFT keys. This will reset the preferences. If this does not work, it's time for a reinstallation. First uninstall, run the cleanup tool (use the Adobe Creative Cloud cleaning tool to solve installation problems), and then reinstall.
