• Method for adding blur to a part of the frame

  Good day to everyone.

  I am modifying a project consisting of 2 camera angles fired a HVX (720 24pn) and a (DVX 24pa Squeeze). One of the angles has someone in the background I want to soften so that they are a little less distracting. Normally I take the pliers and add a mask in AE and add a blur to the layer below. But I am 75% in this cup which is 45 minutes long and don't know how to use AE and still have everything in harmony.

  There should be a way for me to create a mask of some sort, and that in the first (CS4) but I can not just think how. I don't know if I need to use a cache or a mask, or whether it is alpha channels or where to start. Can someone point me in the right direction on how to do it? The film is a round table of 4 people sitting at a table, so there is very little movement in the frame. I think I saw ways to do this using hidden Digital Juice, it should be possible to create something for this. I am looked at all so any help will be huge.

  I saw the screen grab.

  Basically two shot with one more in the foreground than the others (ie.shot on an angle instead of directly from the front).  No one in the foreground is a little blurry and the other person is pointed and slightly on the edge of the frame.   Don't know exactly what you want to be "fuzzy" or the extent of the blur.  I suspect you want to defocus of one or the other more blur them as in a 'Crime Scène' type look.

  May be of no use but Magic Bullets looks like has a great tool that works perfectly for this.  "Tilt shift lens.

  I'm not sure how much camera movement or people in the frame.

  Start here

  A simple way (crudish) would be to duplicate the video clip and place a match exactly framed above the other.  Draw a Garbage Matte on the top layer loosely around one of the people.  Apply the fast blur or blur camera and maybe a subtle darkening to one or the other clips.

  Be careful when you draw the Matte.  You cannot soften the edge of the matte (or reverse) because you would be able to in AEFX.  You can animate the matte to follow the movement.

• Gaussian blur effect causing of the black frames when rendering.

  I'm only using an effect in my video, it is the Gaussian blur, and in the Viewer, it shows the effect, but it shows black frames randomly within the Builder Preview, I thought it was just a random previewer problem.

  I then made the video but when the blur effect is applied is to show black executives at random in the video.

  Talked to customer support and found out it was an effect of Gaussian blur twice on the same chassis as the cause for trouble some sigh *.

  But thanks for the info on the media cache, I did know about this.

• Creation of a mast of traction of defocus for compound a blur effect

  I tried to make a mast of traction of defocus starting with a solid black (size of the model) and using the gradient of 4 on this, color effect with all points of color white and black so that I could place where I wanted to blur to occure.   I used the blur effect composed on the layer I wanted to blur and choose my 'matte of defocus"like the blurred layer.

  NOTHING HAPPENED.

  I tried to precomping the "Matt defocus" layer and still nothing HAPPENED.  Nothing troubles.

  What I am doing wrong.

  Also is there a better way to create a cache of defocus.  The four points of the color gradient not quite follow the contour I wanted.  Do I have to create the matte of defocus in Photoshop or Illustrator.

  Make sure you precompose the layer of matte and don't forget to "get the attributes" in the precomp.

  Yes, the PS is probably a better way to build complex and specific caches.  Or use the painting tools in AE..?

  Your question is quite simple. Author tutorial uses a PSD file with no background in the text (file with transparency) - you use a jpg - file with gray background that covers your rays. You must remove background in photoshop and export it to AE without it or remove it using a few plugins Keying in AE or simply mask.

  For simplicity Let's say I have a circle with a 20px Gaussian blur effect. If I have the scale to represent 10% of its original size, with scale Stroke and effects"checked, she still a 20px blur. • Blur effect to "censor" does not reach all ends of the video

  I have been using the effect overlay cache rail in combination with the titration module to create an effect of "fuzzy" to blur faces and words insult on the videos, I've been producing. It creates the same type of effect that you see on episodes of cops where peoples faces are blurred and allows you to control the movement of the blur to stay on the censored Word face, other of the person object when it moves into a video.

  There is one problem that I seem to meet for this purpose. If the object that requires censorship extends to one of the 4 sides of the video (for example in a pan of the camera of the object), the blur effect fades near the edges, allowing the censored object to see briefly as he passed by the edges very of the video.

  I had this problem too... where the blur fails on the edges of the box... was very boring...

  It seems to happen when the mask is created in the window title... but not if you create the mask in photoshop...

  Try this maybe...

  Get your first mask in window title for your first frame of the video that will use the mask...

  This will give you the size and location of the mask for your first image...

  Put this mask on your timeline... and the CTI put on and 'export - image'... Instead you love (office, whatever)

  Open it in photoshop...

  Now... because this mask will move (position) you can use the 'canvas' size setting to enlarge your mask... If you do not miss black... the mask will be white pure to be transparent and the rest will be pure black to opaque... do you what you want with Blur Gaussian etc... you know... set the thing to make it work as you want...

  Save the file as PSD when you finished and import the PSD NLE file and clear the mask in the window title... and use the file psd rather...

  This should solve the problem...

  I don't know why the title thing done that but they suspect it has something to do with 'security' (safe tv, for the titles.. .you know?)...

• PDF file generated from Reporting SERVICES hangs when opened in Adobe reader 11 and saved as with "optimized for fast web view."

  Large pdf (over 1000 pages) generated files form SSRS crashes when opened in Adobe reader 11 and saved as with "Optimized for fast web view" activated. This saves fine with disabling this option. However, our customers are not ready to accept this solution because they do not want to change any settings. Please suggest if we should create a ticket with microsoft for SSRS allow the generation of pdf quick display of Web pages or is it an option in Adobe to fix this problem without changing the settings.

  The SSRS file has Fast Web View: 'No' and that's how Microsoft SSRS generates these files.

  As you have indicated, the PDF SSRS seems to have some elements that are quite similar to be supported for fast web view.

  We asked customers to disable the fast web view, but the customer is big enough to make a change individually on their machines and so were looking for a solution.

  I saw in several forums and a few discussions here as well as disable the fast web view option works for pdf fails.

  Which was just wondering if its known that multiple PDFs genarted by third parties may have problems with the optimization, the Save as optimized for fast web view could be disabled by default installation of acrobat reader rather than be enabled by default

• Blur effect appears in the HTML 5-6 Captivate project

  Hello

  We have a project where we used the blur effect on an image.  When released as a draft of HTML5, the blur is not displayed.  When published as a Flash project, the blurred image displays as one would expect.  The problem is that we want to publish for HTML5.  Is this a bug?  We are on the latest version of Captivate 6 with no update available.

  Blur is not supported for HTML5 (not even in CP7). Not all effects are supported.

  I've been using the 3D tools last week and all of a sudden I open Photoshop CS 6 and lack them.  See image as an attachment to screen palette on CS6 and capture tool.

  The only 3D tools that appear in the tools for Ps CS6 report of the pipette. The 3D tools, we can think of CS5, were moved and consolidated in the options bar when the move tool is selected.

  have you changed its linkType outdoors? and also check what sdk is currently used by flex builder. If the default SDK is not set on flex 3.3 can also do too. What additional compiler arguments you added? It should work. Code hinting works very well for me. Pixel Bender effects can be applied to anything that is placed on the stage and accessible. You can even apply effects of PB to the videos played by videoDisplay component too.
