  If you apply an effect to a shape, this shape became a complex aspect. Select the shape, and then click the button 'clear appearance' at the bottom of the appearance Panel. This removes the contraction of the effect and inflate.

  It's things very 101...

  Once you have your précomposé, you can copy and paste your PS on the precomposed layer mask.  Chances are that if your PS document and your AE comp are exactly the same size, things don't line up perfectly, but you can then change the mask to adapt.

  The best route is creating a matte off your mask, which means paste the mask to another layer, and then using the alpha information created by this mask for "matte" the precomp.  But this requires some understanding of the logic of the AE.  Do you know how to set a track matte?

I would like to install 2 forms (more pref) and mix between their limits (using shape and color settings) so that I could then freely move these forms and the mixture would continue to adjust with change and drop shape ETC.

  Mynelium said there is no way to do this directly, but you can use a combination of two expressions, AE and Illustrator to do this. It is a simple process, if you understand the Illustrator version to feature layers.

  Here's how to do it.

  1. Create your mixture in Illustrator
  2. Specify the number of steps or to use for mixing colors
  3. Expand the appearance of mixture
  4. Select the created grope
  5. Use the exit command in the sequence of layers in the Palette layers
  6. Select all released in the Palette layers layers and drag them over the top layer.
  7. Save your Illustrator file
  8. Import your Illustrator file in AE as a Composition with cropped layers
  9. 'Up' higher layer naming
  10. Name the bottom layer "base".
  11. Apply the following expression to one of the other property of rotation of the layers:

  This is how the expression works. The order of layers is transformed into a percentage by dividing its index (number of layer) by the index of the bottom layer. The difference between the positions of the top layer and the layer background and rotation is calculated by subtraction and multiplied by the percentage of offset, then added to the rotation and the position of the upper layers. It's actually quite simple when you can view it.

  We have built a course online with Adobe Captivate. I have included on each two buttons slide that allows you to move forward and the other to return back. they have the auto-pause set on them (pause after 1.5 seconds) which I suppose may have something to do with my problem. When I add a smart shape and try to add an effect to it, the effect does not work. I realized that if I move back, and the next button on the script to display ONCE the effect is to show, the effect will work, but it seems ridiculous for buttons at random to see, for example, six seconds in where the slide started. Is it possible to do this job all together without moving the timing buttons?

  Try to set up the 'Pause after' bit for your buttons so that the synchronization stops after only 17 seconds.

• Initiate an explosion with the glow effect

  Thank you once again for all your help guys.  Now, I am creating an explosion with a glow effect.  Problem is when I apply the glow effect to my form, I created, it assumes I want the explosion to happen as soon as the video starts to play.  In fact, I would like the explosion occur somewhat later in the video, maybe about 25 images in the video.  I can't find a setting for the keyframe at the beginning of the explosion.  Is there a key to this picture and I can't?  I even tried out the shape in the timeline panel so it is not up to that on the frame of 25, but it does not work either.

  You didn't follow my instructions or experiment with the settings of the force.

  In wired mode, go to the section 25 and activate keyframes for position 1 force and RADIUS. Now move back a section to frame 24 and adjust the size and position of strength 1 just behind the layers and small do not to touch the later. If Force 1 and 2 do not affect the layer, it cannot explode.

  I have a 25-minute film, and when I add effect that some clips are corrupt - a few flicker with one sort of blue tint, others have another clip to come through it in some frames.  It's the same 5 staples that are corrupt everytime but I didn't something different to these clips compared to any other person as far as I can make out.   If I remove all the effects that I put on it the problem goes away, but when I reapply the effects the problem reappears.  I have Colorista and Mojo applied on all plans.  1 clips is played in revese and there are a few slight color changes.

  When you open images in encode I get the problem "could not load kPFColorParamSuite."

  I use windows 8 and Premiere Pro (fully updated) cc.

  Any ideas guys?

  I discovered that the Red Gaint Denoiser II was the cause of the problem.  I removed all the effects, the base form clips and worked them well!

  I just installed upgrading 12.1 of After Effects, and now I can't open the program. When I try to start AE, I get the error message:

  I just tried uninstalling and reinstalling AE. The same problem.

  Mac OS has incorrectly set the permissions for some files.

  When you upgrade a Mac OS (as opposed to install new fresh version), Mac OS is _often_ set permissions for folders and files incorrectly.

  You will see this problem in the programs such as After Effects in the form of error messages indicating that a file cannot be written, overwritten or renamed.

  To resolve this problem in the case of After Effects, go to the Preferences folder and define file preferences _entire_ (Library/preferences/Adobe/After Effects/12.0/) and all its content to not be writable, read-only.

  I used effects similar to former DPS items, but now it is really difficult to swipe to the next article with a large scroll frame that covers the majority of a page. Is this related to the OS7 update? Adobe has an example of this 'jigsaw' effect in the application of DPS tips (Advanced DPS Tips - Jigsaw scrolling effect overlays), and it seems to work perfectly without a hitch. Any ideas why this effect can be reproduced with the current version of the DPS/OS7? Am I missing something obvious? Thank you!

  Is your scrolling horizontal or vertical frame? If it is vertical, you should be able to go to the next page. If it is horizontal, a bug currently prevents you from swipe to the next article (or to the next page in an article "flattened"). This bug should be fixed in the January 11 release.

  I managed to get InDesign to apply an outer glow to all forms I create; rectangles, ovals, lot. I searched the forums and google cannot understand how the hell I did it, or how to cancel it and it drives me crazy. Someone has any idea how to activate the effect of the default permanently?

  I used the wizard insert a record form to create a form, including using the form validation server behavior to validate multiple fields.

  I can't understand how to compare and validate 2 fields for email address.

  After the form has been created I open the validate form behavior of existing server - Advanced tab and built the condition {sub_email2}! = {sub_email}, but this had no effect on the form.

  The other thing I tried was creating a new behavior to compare the Transaction field with the same condition {sub_email2}! = {sub_email}, also seems to have no effect.

  I'm just a beginner, so I admit not really knowing what I'm doing, for me uninstallation has been a great help.

  The other thing I noticed, when I tried both the above, not to mention that without impact on being able to submit the form with different e-mail addresses. Red asterisks, which indicates a mandatory field, would disappear.

  A comparison statement should work fine. For example, I did small format which inserts the name and email (2 courses) help Insert record Wizard.

  Now that I have two e-mail fields in the form, I go to the developer server behavior under tools and select compare fields of operations to the title of the form validation.

  I hit the + to add a field I can select e-mail for the domain, and == for condition, then {POST.email2} to compare. I get into an error message and click ok.

  She's the form is ready.

  The first email field will check against the e-mail validation and the 2nd E-mail will check against the first e-mail.
