• Copy a few lines in the same table, but with different IDS

  Hi all
  I had this problem... I have a table with its pk (which is a sequence). With a statement select, I extract a few lines, and then I would record in the same table, but with IDS different (obviously eheheh).
  
  I don't know how to do...

  p.s. I want to change some fields in lines before saving as well... don't know how do it more...
  
  example:
  
  ID NAME TYPE
  1 ferrari car
  2 cars lamborghini
  
  
  I'm trying to copy the second and changing its type in "BMW".

  1 ferrari car
  2 cars lamborghini

  Assuming that your table is named cars_tb and the cars_seq of the sequence.

   insert into cars_tb
    select cars_seq.nextval, name, type
    from cars_tb
  

  This would overlap with any existing lines, but with a new id.

  If you want to duplicate a specific line and change a value, you could do something like:

   insert into cars_tb
    select cars_seq.nextval, name, 'BMW'
    from cars_tb
    where type = 'lamborghini'
  

  or better, use the PK

   insert into cars_tb
    select cars_seq.nextval, name, 'BMW'
    from cars_tb
    where id = 2
  

• SWF file doenst work correctly within uiloader

  Hello

  This is my first time in the forum. I hope that someone help me.

  The problem my be very easy to resolve, but I've been arrond it 2 days.

  That is the problem. I created a SWF (export) with action script that adds the childs to the scene. When I export the file and see the result, it's all ok. But when I use the same file inside a uiloader action script seems to not work because Childs doenst apeear in the scene.

  This is my first project, so please go easy eheheh

  Why do you use the uiloader?   There, at most, a bit more difficult to use the class loader and you have much more control.
