    What Miss me?

Thank you for using communities of Apple support, Cosman.

Your post, Safari will play is no longer videos using Safari on your MacBook Pro on OS X 10.11. It also seems that it is a recent development, so we'll get it working again.

Install and manage extensions Safari on your Mac - sometimes an extension may be the culprit. Disable the extensions you have installed for Safari, quit Safari and test. If it works again, turn on an extension at the same time, then exit and restart Safari to find what the cause of the problem.

Update the software on your Mac - Make sure that your Mac is up = to = date with everything.

Try safe mode if your Mac does not start -even if the start up your Mac, safe mode will not fail it starts successfully.

    I hope this helps!

  • Save in different place - Safari El capitan

It feels a little strange question, but I REALLY can't understand this.

I try to save an image from Safari on my computer but I don't seem to be able to choose the location to save it. Even if I open the context menu and select the option "Save Image under...". ", a pop-up window opens with a choice of repertoire , BUT the only option to choose in the menu drop-down is the same download folder (here also a remote disk option in the menu which is totally useless to me).

I'm sure that where other options to choose from in the dropdown under "Desktop", "The file" etc, but now the only option seems to be the downloads folder.

    (A) Pourquoi - what happens?

    (B) is it possible to add a place more to the menu drop-down select to save an image in safari?

As it is the option ' Save Image under... ". "did exactly what the option 'save image', but it takes a few extra steps to do...

    VERY frustrating.

I'm running the latest and greatest versions of El Capitan/Safari.

Update: not knowing how, but earlier another option popped up, but it is still far from resolved.

    Any ideas?

  • Slow start up Safari

I'm on OS X 10.11.5 (El Captan) on an iMac 27 inch mid 2011.

Since the upgrade to El Capitan, Safari takes 13-15 seconds to start and be in ready condition and will often show that a linked server cannot be found.

I am now using Firefox as my default browser and it takes 2-3 seconds to start and be in the ready state, same with Chrome. I hardly meet server not found with the above browsers.

The clues why this is so. Under Snow Leopard Safari has been 1-2 seconds to be in the ready state.

I suggest you only begin by taking the measures recommended in this support article.

  • Safari is Mac does not

I have a Mac Pro (early 2008) installed the latest updates for any Mac (El Capitan, Safari, etc.) and this question actually followed me from Yosemite, hoping that El Capitan upgrade would solve, but but did not.

Behavior: My Mac will become partially insensitive.  More precisely.

-I can move the pointer anywhere on the screen, but clicking on any window, menu, nothing does nothing.

-Click on the key combos same keyboard does nothing

-Sometimes this happens, if there is a video running from a Web site, etc., that it continues to run, with the sound.  Can not stop it or anyhting because of what I mentioned above

-The only thing I can do is hit the power button and restart

    Trigger: Safari.

-This only happens with safari open, not always well.  To do a website, or a combination to get there.  So far, I noticed the behavior when I have sites like Amazon, Ebay, I think that Google Search images (not sure).

-If I restart the computer allow Safari open with the same Web site windows, frost will occur, at every time and in short order

-If I open Safari but close all Web sites or all trades type those, the gel does not happen

-Frost never happens when Safari isn't open

Anyone who has seen elsewhere, or have a solution in mind?  I love all of my wonderful Apple gadgets, and I like to have all my information (bookmarks, websites, etc) synced automatically, but if I can't solve this I have to switch to Chrome.  I'm in law school, and if I did not automatically hit 'Save' every minutes 5 or more while writing documents and memoirs, this would have cost me dearly on more than one occasion.

    Tank you in advance.

    Bob has.

I too have a Mac Pro (early 2008) and has been given exactly the same problem with Safari. Everything freezes but I can move my mouse cursor. Sometimes, the cursor turns into line with two arrows. This problem started a few months ago, and today, I restarted four times, so I resorted to the use of Chrome. I have no answers because I have found none. Can't wait to see if you get all the answers.

  • Safari does not load pages first

    Hello

I have a MacBook Pro Mid 2010, with El Capitan, Safari 9.0.2. There is problem of loading web pages. Sometimes Safari load Facebook, YouTube or this community of support immediately. But very often it does not load for the first time, I have to open new tab and try again, then new tab and try again and maybe the fourth fifth time charges. Or it load the web page after a long time.

The loading bar stops right in the Middle, or I get the message that something is wrong and page cannot be loaded. This also happens when I type something into the address bar and try google the keyword. It is not just probably load in 5 of the 10 cases. It's really frustrating, because Firefox just load the web pages without any problems. On my iPad and iPhone Safari works perfectly smooth. I do not plug-ins except Adblock.

I do not plug-ins except Adblock.

Please, disable it and see if there is an improvement.

  • I tried to download macOS Sierra for the last hours on my Mac, but it is still holding still to download. Should I download the El Capitan instead? All sites tell me that I should update my Safari.

I tried to download macOS Sierra on my macbook pro iOS 10 for a few hours and it still has several hours to go. Should I just download the Capitan instead? All sites tell me that I should update my Safari or I wouldn't even through this disorder.

You must complete the download of Sierra. It is a very large file and will take some time, especially on a slow Internet connection.
