• 6 s iPhone Bluetooth will pair with El Capitan Mac but does not connect

  My employers very kindly gave me a brand new MacBook Pro running the most recent version (10.11.4) of Mac OS X.  What finish set up I need to pair my iPhone staff 6 (running iOS 9.3.1) to the computer I want to use MacID to secure my computer when I'm away from him.  While the phone would pair (pairing being initiated by the Mac) it would be briefly apply status 'connected' before going to "not connected".  When I then tried to establish a connection, I received the following message on the iPhone:

  Connection failure

  'MacBook Pro' is not supported

  and the only option to close this dialog box click the device forget .

  I therefore looked on my personal Mac which had previously been paired with the phone to find that he was is no longer listed in the devices Bluetooth, but when I looked in the settings for MacID running on my Mac it says "Looking for iPhone 6 s.  I tried to re-pair 6s iPhone to my personal machine and had the same results.  When I called in my TI guru we tried with his iPhone 6 (also installed 9.3.1) and had the same results.  As it's been a few months since I used MacID on my computer that I don't know when the link has been broken - after an update iOS or OS X update.  Bluetooth linking to my Apple Watch still works perfectly.  I was unable to try this out with any other Mac, I was looking for one with an older version of Mac OS X.

  Everyone is aware of this problem or have an idea for a fix?

  An iPhone will not pair Bluetooth with a computer (Mac or Windows) for one use other than personal hotspot and it will only do that if the carrier is supported. However, there are a number of things will be using Bluetooth between the computer and the iPhone where the devices are NOT matched.   I don't think that Firefox has hooks that would prevent the screensaver from starting.
  It may not be compatible with the latest version of Firefox.
  Please try a different screen saver. I use Digital Aquarium Screensaver and it works well.

• Windows 7 laptop does not connect to Wifi when the WPA2 security is Active

  I have a rather unusual problem that my Compaq CQ56 laptop not not connect to my router, ASUS RT-AC56U Wi - Fi when WPA 2 security is active on the router. With WPA2 is off, it connects without a problem. But, when I turn it on WPA2 on it will not connect. This problem persists even if I change the WPA2 authentication code. All other devices at home are able to connect with the wifi with WPA2 enbabled router, and this particular laptop was able to do so until very recently.

  Just to make sure that the adapter in the Compaq works, I just went to Starbucks and it connected to their wifi unsecured without problem.

  I was using a TP-Link Wireless Range extender on the home network, but it was deleted.

  I ran the network troubleshooting and Fix - It nothing works.

  I suspect that for my home network installation file was corrupted on this laptop and I would like to know if there is a way to remove, or edit this file and start from scratch. I have a Compaq laptop earlier generation linking problem now. So I'm pretty a connection file corrupted is the problem. Just need to know how to solve this problem.

• Apple TV and home sharing does not connect

  Hi all. Vocation of the Ireland! I have just registered to a local Irish Internet provider and was provided with a Cisco EPC3925 router. Wireless works great for laptop and iPad. However I can't share my iTunes library with Apple TV. I plugged the Ethernet cable and it worked perfectly. However, as soon as I log out, so too is home Exchange. I have disabled the windows firewall and completely uninstalled macafee firewall. I'm using windows vista and have the latest version of iTunes installed.   I read your post about the problems with your Envy 7640 in Win10 printer and wanted to help.

  The problem is that by default HP print drivers installed by the upgrade of Win10 often do not work.  I have two HP printers and neither one worked after the Win10 upgrade.  We also receive a lot of messages of other people with the same problems.

  You must download and install the full feature software and drivers for the printer.
