  Hmm, this sounds like Firefox has made a mess, sorry about your problems! I wonder if it would be the simplest solution to reset all Firefox here. That would restore most of the default settings, but you keep all your settings and bookmarks, passwords, etc. You would lose your themes and extensions you installed well. What do you think? If you want to give it a try, follow these instructions: Refresh Firefox – reset the parameters and modules

  I asked this question once before (eight months ago), but never got a response, and no one else seemed to have the problem. I have been accustomed to the use of this module, called previous folders:

They don't have access to Illustrator, so they would not be able to view the native .ai file, how can I send the file?

  Second to that I will always create a logo set to compile something like the following:

  1. Original .ai logo - RGB/CMYK/Black/White versions
  2. A set of PNG with transparent backgrounds of different sizes (something like 100px, 250px, 500px, 1000px wide)
  3. A set of .jpg in various sizes (something like 100px, 250px, 500px, 1000px wide)
  4. And now a .svg and .pdf file

  Once again it all depends on what the customer wants it, but once you have furnished with everything that they are able to use it for the most part.

• Themes suddenly stopped working after trying the new theme

  I installed a theme in TB and it looked nice, so I decided to try it in FF36.04. It worked, but when I tried to go back to my old theme (same author), it did not work and the area became top black with just the usual text. I tried to go back to my old theme (same author) that has worked well for years. When I went to modules. themes, it enumerates the different themes, but doesn't display photos. If you go to the specific page of the theme (by modules) it doesn't show the author's name and the theme as well as the button disable/remove, no picture or any other detail. It is the same for all themes.

  I tried adding a new topic randomly and it worked and displays the image on the themes tab, but others do not always work. They show different colors if I activate different themes, which I assume is the background. I tried all the usual things, which dates back to default (seems OK), tried to restart FF, laptop computer reboot, etc., but nothing don't is my old theme back I've had for years.

  Because a new theme worked, I could probably delete all my old themes and go and download them and install them again, but something went wrong and I would like to fix everything what it is, rather than leave perhaps a hidden problem.

  Any suggestions?

  • • • Edit - just updated to FF37.0.1 and no change. I have however noticed that the theme I've tried to add to the original (that when the problem started) is not actually in the list of themes! It worked in the beginning, it was when I went back to my old theme that the problem started.

  It's the lightweightThemes.usedThemes pref that stores Persona data in JSON format, so it's probably OK because this implies a good amount of data, especially if you have a lot of lightweight themes installed.

  Firefox puts images of Persona as lightweighttheme-head and foot of page-lightweighttheme in the Firefox profile folder (default).
  The images will be resized and copied to the lwtheme folder and delete files in this folder to make Firefox to use a new character.
  The pref lightweightThemes.usedThemes must be true to make Firefox uses images of Persona.

  You can check the image files and you can possibly try to copy lightweighttheme-head and foot of page-lightweighttheme in the Thunderbird profile folder to the Firefox profile folder if they work in Thunderbird.
  You must remove the current files in the folder lwtheme to regenerate the files that will be used by Firefox.

  Permit to solve my problem. Is go to the Add-ons section and found that there were two of them for Flash, 10.x and 11.x. I disabled 11.x and things started working again.

• iSight works partially on macOS Sierra

  After installing Mac OS on my Mac Pro mid-2010 Sierra, my external iSight has stopped working (the microphone and video).  I have reset the controller of the system as suggested by another user to reset the controller management system (SCM) on your Mac - Apple Support and he got the iSight works partially.

  I have played for a little more and found the following.

  1. the green light on the iSight not (even with the cover open) until what you start an application that requires it.  For example, the light comes on when I click on Siri, and the microphone is activated then only.

  2. I do not think that the video is working (certainly not in FaceTime), but discovered that in the same way that above, the video comes on when I load Skype and PhotoBooth, until of course the lens is open.

  3. as soon as you close the application using the iSight, the green light turns off.

  4 FaceTime work however still not at all.

  If anyone has any other ideas on how to change/fix the video portion iSight FaceTime let me know, otherwise I hope it developed a fix for this soon.

  Also having this problem and has been able to replicate what you have done. Using a Mac mini from 2012.

  No. I suggest you file a bug report (https://bugreport.apple.com/). Apple seems quite keen on dark themes of our days. They might actually do it.

  I downloaded the latest adobe flash player plugin, but it does not work with Firefox. It works on Internet Explorer.

  All of these problems come from the fact that Vista and Windows 7 64-bit operating systems. Internet Explorer is also 64-bit but Firefox is unfortunately not 64-bit compatible and cannot use 32-bit plug-ins.

  When upgrading Flash, it will look at your system and select the 64 bit version.  This says it contains a 32 bit version as well, but this does not seem to work on version 11x64_mssa_aih.  It will work fine on all programs except firefox.
  To make sure you have a working version on Firefox you will need to search the Flash support site for 11x32_mssa_aih which is the 32 bit upgrade package.
   Until Flash fixes their version 11 package, or Firefox supports 64 bit plug-ins, you will need to run both a 32 bit and a 64 bit Flash player.

  The anti-phishing protection and malware that Firefox uses checks against a list of websites that have been reported to contain a form of malware and then alerts you. Firefox itself does not scan files to see if they contain viruses/malware. You still need a form any anti-virus and anti-malware protection. You must also use a firewall.

  As for which is better, you are likely to get many different answers, it's a topic that generates a lot of discussion. A product one person loves will be hated by someone else. I use Microsoft Security Essentials as well as Windows Firewall.
