Elements 7 does support closed captioning?

Hello

I can't find a direct answer to this in the help of elements. So it helps the captioning, IE. can I create a video DVD and add captioning for her?

THX

CC subtitles for real, I believe you'll need software, such as Adobe Encore, or Sonic Scenarist of DVD authoring. Don't know about creating. applications as DVD Architect.

Now, we could create similar, but with a lot more work, creating lower third titles and their animation to mimic CC. It seems similar, but would be different.

Good luck

  • How can I burn a DVD in Windows Media Center with the closed captioning information included?

I recorded a program in Windows media center.  When I read the program, it displays the closed captioning information.  If I burn a DVD program closed captioning information do not display during playback.  How can I burn the DVD to include captioning?

    Hello

    1. How do you try to burn the DVD? You have saved the DVD on the desktop (hard drive) or you burnt before you save it to a DVD?
    2. after are burning the DVDs in which application you trying to play?

I suspect that the captions are already burned in DVD, at this point in time we can cross check if the option is set to display captions.
To enable or disable subtitles for DVD
    a. on the Windows Media Center start screen, navigate to tasks, click settings, click DVD and then click subtitle.
    b. click the plus (+) and minus (-) buttons to select power off or when cut, and then click Save.

  • WMC: closed captioning

How to display subtitles encoded in Windows Media Center? Got a DVD that does not have subtitles, but it closed captions, and I can't see how I can display in WMC... Note that WMP has no problem display CC.

    (Running Windows 7 x 64 ultimate)

Please click here for instructions on how to activate subtitles encoded in Windows Media Center.

Thank you very much. This might work for the TV tuner TV signal, but not for DVDs. I have a DVD that has No subtitles , but only the subtitles (CCs). I'm not simply view SAB for this DVD. I tried to play around with all the settings, nothing helped. I came to the conclusion that MS has neglected the possibility that DVD would carry CCs, not only subtitles. You may want to try it yourself: take a DVD with CCs and without subtitles (most likely a TV show like Taxi, for example) and try to see if you can get CCs to work. My guess is that you will not be able to. I've tried on multiple computers, with no luck.

Therefore, I would be grateful if you can let the devs of WMC. know this 'bug' tiny (but very annoying). It shouldn't take an enormous effort of coding to fix (I guess).

PS Ce is not something that I just noticed, nor is it the only DVD that behaves in this way. Positively no CCs cannot be displayed for DVD . I noticed this problem a good back, but I kept hoping there may be tweaks that I didn't see it right, so I took the time to study this more in detail recently. It turns out it wasn't behavior little cared for me. It is a behavior that is sloppy on the part of the developer.

  • Copy the closed captioning

    Hello

If I copy a slide to another cptx, closed captioning is not copied.

Does anyone know if it is possible, somehow, to copy the subtitles?

Or: attach to an another audiofile?

Why? I want to create subtitles in one Captivate file.

    Kind regards!

What version do you use? Slide notes and CC are copied with slides of 9.0.1.320 and 8.0.3.290. I just checked.

  • 14 items does support TWAIN

I am running Windows 8.1 64-bit and have items 12 and 13.  13 items do not support TWAIN, so I can't make it work with the sheet on my HP scanner feeder.  Whenever I need to use the sheet feeder that I must use 12 elements, that supports TWAIN.

I think I have 14 elements - PSE 14 does support TWAIN?  If this is not the case - it will work with a sheet feeder?

    -PES 14 a real upgrade, as a stand-alone program.

    Thanks for any help.

    Hello Roberta,.

Thanks for your query. Sorry to disappoint you, but the 64-bit version of PSE14 does not support TWAIN, as PSE13 only.

    Thank you

  • How can you do closed captioning appears after clicking a button?

Currently, it is one of my screens works.  The Narrator speaks of a video is displayed.  The user clicks on play to see the video.  At the end of the video continue button appears.  When the student clicks on the button continue the Narrator speaks once again, and the course continues.

The challenge comes in when I'm with captioning.  Given that Captivate is somehow not enough let us create closed captioning for anything other than the slide audio, does anyone know a work around that would allow me to get closed captioning should appear when the user clicks on the button continue?

Thanks in advance for your help.

Ahh... I think you are referring to the level of the audio object.  You put the audio maybe on the legend of the success of the button, or the value of the action of the Play Audio button maybe?

CC text displays only the audio, slide to the objects or the audio level triggered by advanced actions.

So if you want the text to display on the screen as a result of your action of button you need to achieve by having the text appear in a legend which is illustrated by a tip action.  If your audio is attached to the legend ONE success of the button, just use this legend to display the text in audio.

  • Sample of CMC or CSC file? -Closed captioning

Can anyone other hand or point me to an example file .mcc or *. CSC captioning?

I received part of my new company CC, but they do not work, or first is not what it says it does.

I hope someone can point me to an example file so that I can know who is involved here.

I import the one I the way you're supposed to (SEQUENCE > ATTACH a FILE; then CLOSED CAPTIONING DISPLAY > ENABLE), but nothing is ever displayed. I don't know if I'm doing something wrong, or my MCC files are not good.

Hi, I think that the question is simply a matter of timecode, all your files are good.

In HWHEIGHTS120.scc, the first block of data of the legend starts at 01; 00; 00; 13 and sample_rollup_1hr files, the first block of data of the legend starts at 01; 00; 00; 28.

So, make sure that your sequence, the playhead is at the appropriate timecode location.  If you want to adjust the offset of the beginning of the sequence, you can do so via the steering wheel on the Panel of the sequence menu (look in the upper right of the Panel), then choose "Start Time".

If you don't know when the first legend is in your file, you can simply open any file *. CSC or .mcc in any text editor, and the time codes are easy to read.

Once you that getting up and running, let us know how it goes for you, and what kind of captioning of the features you want to see in the future.

Chrome still does support OSX 10.9.5?

According to the page of the Google Chrome browser, this version of Chrome is said

in support of Mac OS X to present 10.11.5 10.9.5. Chrome - the Google browser

However, the questions and problems that Chrome continues to show Mac users,

indicate that it is not a wise choice for Macs.  Users have found Chrome to be

a resource eater, which affects the performance of OS X.

We'll find a better browser to Mozilla Firefox; also Safari is always supported by

Apple at the moment (my OS X 10.9.5 a recent version of Safari; I prefer Firefox.)

  • HP J6450 really does support WPA Wireless encryption?

I just bought a new J6450 yesterday, and when I tried to install it as a wireless network my SSID does not appear (even if the PC just next to the printer is connected to my network).  Even when you enter the SSID manually the installation process does not recognize it. There are other SSID in the region that appear during the installation.  I confirmed that my router is broadcasting and the printer was 4 feet from the router, so I know that is not due to the intensity of the signal.

Details of router - NetGear WPN824v3, configured for either 802. 11B or 802.11 g (auto mode), WPA encryption

The only thing I noticed during my research it tonight is the SSID that was listed when installing 2 are encrypted and most of the HP support info and documentation related to the wireless configuration seems to refer essentially to WEP.  If the HP J6450 really does support the WPA encryption, and if so, does anyone have ideas for troubleshooting why it does not recognize my router?

    Thank you.

Connection to the router under the admin user, then "Wireless settings" page is a Mode setting and the default value is "Auto 108 Mbps.  Using the arrow in the drop-down menu, change to "b and g" then set the channel to 'Auto' and save the configuration changes.
