Elements: no deactivation, the computer crashed-> how to fix wrong license problems

Hello

I had a hard time: all-new mainboard installed, discovering that a very important software does not properly with windows 10...

So I had a lot of recovery, installation and move my Photoshop elements 13 computer to another or to the computer back in place.

Do all of this, Adobe now thinks that I use Photoshop on too many computers. I use it on two computers (2!), but get the error message "too many facilities.

How to solve this problem? Adobe support doesn't have e-mail, and chat and phone sometimes collides with my work hours (for my country: Germany).

Any ideas?

Thank you very much!

    Hi Franks,

This probably should have been posted in the Premiere Elements forum, as this forum is a place of social discussion.

However, you can simply install Premiere Elements of the new computer and activate it. If not, then you will need to contact Adobe customer service and use the 'chat' option - they will help reset your activation:

The first couple of line indicates a problem with your Nvidia video drivers, so that would be the starting point. Download and install a fresh game, update for your system here:http://www.nvidia.com/Download/index.aspx?lang=en-us

Uninstall the current set through the configuration/programs and features Control Panel, then reboot and install the new set. Do not install only the new on the 'old'.

  • The computer crashes; slow to start; Not relevant

    It's all thanks to IT.

    Hello

You will have to provide much more information to help. Some questions are:

    (1) what you were doing when the computer crashed? What programs have been opened? Running?

    (2) you online were at the time? Had recently downloaded anything? You have applications antivirus and anti-malware on your computer? Have you run analyses with these programs? If so, what was done and what show?

    (3) what do you mean exactly by "inadmissible"? You can do something, or is it just sit there doing nothing? When you say 'slow start', which is just an impression or you timed? If you have timed the start, what are the gaps of time?

    (4) depth OS and little do you have? How much RAM do you have? What and how many programs you load at startup?

This is the starting point to determine what might happen. There may be more questions that need to ask, but until you have answered these questions, there is little I can do to help you.

    Service Pack 3/Pagemaker problems

I am running Windows XP Home Edition. None of the Adobe CS2 programs allow me to open the old Pagemaker files.  It gives the error message: file is damaged.  According to my research, the problem with Service Pack 3.  The research also tells me that the solution is the removal of the service pack.

When I try to remove Service Pack 3, the computer crashes.  Are there other solutions?

Problem is not with the help of CS2 in itself - it works fine...  Apart from the fact that none of the CS2 programs will allow me to open Pagemaker 7 or old Pagemaker files.

Who should have nothing to do with the level of service pack for XP!

Yet once, if there is a problem, uninstall and reinstall CS2. But as you know, CS2 is quite old and is no longer supported. If this feature is important to you, I guess using the current version would be the way to go.

I use windows XP Home Edition. It takes awhile to start when I turn on the computer. How can I speed up this process?

    original title: slow start
    • Faster processor.
    • Fastest hard drive.
    • Faster or more RAM/memory.
    • Less things loading at startup.
    • Appropriate and the most recent hardware device drivers.

In XP, you can cleanup and optimize it in some way, by using the following tips:

    Search for malware:

Download, install, execute, update and perform analyses complete system with the two following applications:

Remove anything they find.  Reboot when necessary.  (You can uninstall one or both when finished.)

Search online with eSet Online Scanner.

The less you have to run all the time, most things you want to run will perform:

Use Autoruns to understand this all starts when your computer's / when you log in.  Look for whatever it is you do not know using Google (or ask here.)  You can hopefully figure out if there are things from when your computer does (or connect) you don't not need and then configure them (through their own built-in mechanisms is the preferred method) so they do not - start using your resources without reason.

You can download and use Process Explorer to see exactly what is taking your time processor/CPU and memory.  This can help you to identify applications that you might want to consider alternatives for and get rid of all together.

Do a house cleaning and the dust of this hard drive:

You can free up disk space (will also help get rid of the things that you do not use) through the following steps:

Windows XP should take between 4.5 and 9 GB * with * an Office suite, editing Photo software, alternative Internet browser (s), various Internet plugins and a host of other things installed.

You can disable hibernation if it is enabled and you do not...

When you Hibernate your computer, Windows saves the contents of the system memory in the hiberfil.sys file. As a result, the size of the hiberfil.sys file will always be equal to the amount of physical memory in your system. If you don't use the Hibernate feature and want to reclaim the space used by Windows for the hiberfil.sys file, perform the following steps:

-Start the Control Panel Power Options applet (go to start, settings, Control Panel, and then click Power Options).
-Select the Hibernate tab, uncheck "Activate the hibernation", and then click OK. Although you might think otherwise, selecting never under "Hibernate" option on the power management tab does not delete the hiberfil.sys file.
-Windows remove the "Hibernate" option on the power management tab and delete the hiberfil.sys file.

You can control the amount of space your system restore can use...

    1. Click Start, right click my computer and then click Properties.
    2. click on the System Restore tab.
    3. highlight one of your readers (or C: If you only) and click on the button "settings".
4 change the percentage of disk space you want to allow... I suggest moving the slider until you have about 1 GB (1024 MB or close to that...)
    5. click on OK. Then click OK again.

You can control the amount of space used may or may not temporary Internet files...

Empty the temporary Internet files and reduce the size, that it stores a size between 64 MB and 128 MB...

-Open a copy of Microsoft Internet Explorer.
    -Select TOOLS - Internet Options.
-On the general tab in the section 'Temporary Internet files', follow these steps:
-Click on 'Delete the Cookies' (click OK)
-Click on "Settings" and change the "amount of disk space to use: ' something between 64 MB and 128 MB. (There may be many more now.)
    -Click OK.
-Click on 'Delete files', then select "Delete all offline content" (the box), and then click OK. (If you had a LOT, it can take 2 to 10 minutes or more).
-Once it's done, click OK, close Internet Explorer, open Internet Explorer.

  • Hard drive being highly accessible all few seconds, although it is, the computer crashes

Since about 3 days (or at least that is the oldest I noticed it, but he couldn't have done it much earlier) my computer was freezing for 3-4 seconds, while the hard drive turns on solid. This occurs regardless of whether the computer is nothing or not constantly every few seconds. I went around the internet looking for ideas, but nothing I tried to (disable superfetch, windows search, start in safe mode, update drivers, looking for the raid drivers, disarm avg, defragmentation and simply drop each program without importance, I can get away with) had no effect.

The computer is an Alienware M15x, I got less than two months ago (totally awesome Christmas gift). It has Windows 7 Home Edition premium on it, a hard disk of 500 GB that says all diagnostics works very good and 6 GB of ram, I had AVG Antivirus on it too (until I took it in the attempt to solve this problem), and the protection of the system (the backups and whatnot) was already disabled. I also did a restore system before it started doing this, but which did not help either.

The only problem it says that appears when I generate a health report to the system that is the disk queue length average 2-3 and going as high as 30. I can sit and watch points every 2-3 seconds since the resource monitor, which coincides with the HDD light will the computer crashes. It does even in safe mode, and it made all the games freeze market too.

I'm completely at the end of my tether here and nothing I tried worked, is there something I'm missing here?

Absolutely nothing worked, I'll try to reinstall windows, and if that does not do, Alienware will repair this one way or another. Thanks for the suggestions so.

    (edit a few hours later)

I reinstalled, and it always does, so the hard drive needs to be spoiled. guess I must return.
