Satellite Pro L10-103 - USB ports not working not
Hi, my Satellite Pro L10 - 103 USB Ports do not work. I tried different things and finally my Advisor rubbed my computer clean of all programs and operating system. After reloading of the set up disc and having lost my dear some programs I am no further forward. It still does not.
Anyone know if this means that it is a mechanical problem with the computer? (I use Windows XP). Your help would be greatly appreciated.
Hey Buddy,
As wrote Akuma did you use the Toshiba Recovery disk or the Microsoft Windows disk?
After installing XP, make sure that Service Pack 3 is installed. It contains important updates and can be downloaded on the official page of Toshiba.
In addition, try to remove all the USB ports on the Device Manager, restart the computer. Ports will still be recognized and ready to use once.

Re: Satellite Pro A200 - black screen after the BIOS screen
Hello
I'm new to the forum and have a big problem. So, any help is welcome and appreciated. My Satellite Pro A200 turns black after the BIOS screen and a black screen with a blinking cursor. Also just as the screen goes black a beep can be heard which shows windows boot.
I can access the toshiba Setup screen but not the installation of security mode.Kind regards
Hello
You wrote that you can access the BIOS, but have you checked if the HARD drive is recognized properly? Perhaps because the computer cannot start HDD isn't recognized then you should check this.
If the HARD drive is recognized, I would try a Toshiba Recovery disk recovery facility. It seems that Windows isn't able to start and if you reinstall the whole system should help get rid me of this. Go to the start menu and select the CD/DVD drive as a boot device.
Check this box!

Ports Satellite A135 - S2306 defective USB after the BIOS update.
OK, I searched all over the internet and not found anyone else with this same problem, or anyone with a solution that worked for me.
A few weeks ago, I had the common error of the BIOS reset itself and asking for a password at startup. I took my local Toshiba authorized repair center, and they have not taken care of him, no problem.
Since the resume, however, all 4 of my USB ports have been going crazy. What happened in the following three steps (in order):
-One of the ports does not work at all, won't provide any current or even recognize that nothing is connected.
-The 3 remaining ports are now only recognized as USB 1.1 ports, not USB 2.0 as they were before.
-Now, only a very small number of my devices is not at all, with three USB mouse and two unrecognized hard drives work (I get the error message "USB device not recognized" standard Windows when I connect them to one of the three ports).
I am running Vista Home Basic (32 bit) with SP 2 and the new version of the BIOS is v1.60.Is this something people of repair caused when they have unlocked the BIOS and updated? Is this a problem with the new BIOS itself? Any help would be GREATLY appreciated! Let me know if I let him out any relevant information, I tried to be as complete as possible. Thank you!

It is not easy to say. I think that would be best to ask guys why it happens or what they have done in the past.
But have you set the default BIOS?
Please do; access the BIOS (by pressing F2). Set it to default by pressing F9 (I guess) and save the changes. Restart the unit.
Access the Device Manager, and then remove all hubs USB and commands from the list of devices. After that reboot the device again. Windows should recognize the devices deleted again. -

Officejet Pro 8500 a - USB installation problem
I can't get my PC to 'see' the 8500. I can get as far as the USB, but the PC login window does not recognize that I have plug in the USB cable. I've tried different USB ports on the computer, but it's exactly the same.
I tried all the suggestions and procedures on the HP site, and the last of them is to go on the forum - I'm here!
I use XP Pro Service Pack 3, and the printer is 8 hrs old.
Thanks for your advice, but the problem appeared just to heal, even the next morning. I gave him another chance, more exasperated than hope and he comes to connect!

Intel device > driver Intel. I doubt that it is a driver updated for such an old device. You can try to install in compatibility mode, but that may not help.
To install in compatibility mode do the following:Click with the right button on the installer > properties > compatibility > choose OS

Hello
Since the upgrade of my Windows 7 Ultimate SP1 x 64 Windows 8 Pro x 64, my Corsair travel GT 32 GB USB 3.0 Flash USB key no longer works when plug it into my USB 3.0 port on my laptop. I get an error that the "peripheral last USB connected to the computer has malfunctioned and Windows does not recognize it." I looked for someone with a similar problem and came across this answer:
I tried the solution (method 1) on this page, however, Windows reports that it was unable to solve the problem of equipment.
Is there anything else I can try to solve this problem? The USB key works in the USB ports 2.0, and it worked in the USB 3.0 port when you run Windows 7 Ultimate SP1 x 64.
Kind regards
Andreas Ball

I can not print! Get a message to solve the problems that tells me that the USB Mass Storage Design driver is not installed. I can not install one of the original, or HP website software. No matter what I do the driver will not be installed correctly. I deleted my printer to my computer and then reinstalled and still I get the same message. The printer worked fine for about three months and now I suddenly have this message. I'm NOT tech savvy, so please if you answer make it simple. I need an answer as soon as possible: this occurs at the end of my exercise and have loads of work that I need to get out! Thank you very much.

Right-click on cmd in the list programs, and then click Run as administrator.
If you are prompted for an administrator password or a confirmation, type your password or click on continue
At the command prompt, type the following command, sfc/scannow , and then the Enter key.
When the analysis is complete, test to see if the problem you are experiencing is resolved.
