Email hacking via BB blackBerry Smartphones

My hotmail account has been sending messages, I think to my entire contact list. All of them say "sent from my Blackberry". The account is linked to my flashlight. The fake message asking people to follow a link to a site called www2.newsireport.com.

Anyone know anything on this subject and how get rid of?

As usual with any email, change your password.

They don't have not 'hacked' your BlackBerry. They simply ran a code to find a password which corresponds, in common with all online accounts.

  • Stop email to transfer device blackBerry Smartphones

    Hello

I wanted to be able to stop (and start) redirect email to Blackberry - specifically, I want to stop the transfer of my work emails when I'm sitting at my work PC.  It seems that the only way to do it via Desktop Manager - is there no way to do it from the Blackberry itself?  (If I leave and forget to turn it back on, then I have no recourse.)

Ah ok. So the only other way to stop him is ebb in this icon, the site Web of BIS of your operator, then go to filters of this email account. Once you're there, you can change the filter to not forward messages on the device. Remember to change it when you want to start receiving messages.

If you were on a BES there will be an option to stop it on the device itself.

  • Setting up email on Bold 9900 blackBerry Smartphones

I have a BlackBerry Bold 9900 and use it as a phone through AT & T prepaid. When I try to configure my email on the phone accounts, he says that he is unable to do so. I can also access Yahoo Messenger; When I try it says impossible for this device. I'd appreciate any suggestions really. I would like to have my email accounts set up on my phone if possible. Thank you!

    Hello

Most carriers, prepaid accounts do not allow the exclusive services BB, which all you mention is. Therefore, it is quite possible that your account is insufficient for the services you want... which means upgrading your account to something that activates the services you want. But, your best source of information about all of this is AT & T, because it's their accounts you need to learn.

    Good luck!

  • BB Phone email address accidentally deleted blackBerry smartphones

So, I accidentally deleted my newly created since the phone itself BB email address.

Can I add it using the BIS via the phone.  I tried to access BIS via the PC, but it seems to have forgotten the password.

In somewhat Catch22-esque from his being sent to my phone :)

Any suggestion is appreciated. Thank you.

Yes you can do it from the phone or the BIS Web site. You need to know the user name and password.

If you do not know the password, select forgot password, and enter your username, it will send the password to your device via a PIN message. If you do not receive it, it means-u username was wrong.

Contact your carrier for your username and/or the password be reset.

  • Going to my email notifications FB all blackBerry Smartphones

I was wondering if there are any suggestions or ideas on how to stop my FB notifications to go to my email account.  Unfortunately, the other suggestion did not work.  Thank you very much

It is always better to keep the display in your original thread if it is still on the same issue.  In this way, we can easily follow what has already been said.

And more by clicking on disable e-mail Notifications, you can also uncheck application BlackBerry Messages above.  This will stop the notifications are sent to your Messages folder on your phone.

The solution I gave you above usually works.  Are you sure that you you press menu and choose Save before you leave the facebook app?

    Post back with your results.

  • Emails from group of blackBerry Smartphones

    Hello

After some problems with not receiving emails from my camera (I stopped getting emails all at once), I contacted Orange which deleted all my settings without first asking me.  Now, I can not receive emails of Group on my mobile but they are appearing on my PC.  I checked my settings are configured to forward all emails to the handset.  I can receive no direct individual emails to anyone, but not by the groups that I belong to.

I spent hours on the phone with Orange and they say there is nothing they can do because it is not part of their service support (even if they have deleted my settings in the first place).

Please, how can I reset my mobile to receive emails from the Group again.

    Adeline says:

Orange it reset everything to me

Unfortunately, I have no way of knowing if what they also understood what I recommended. So it is your choice as to how to proceed now.

    Adeline says:

but unfortunately my group emails are not transferred to my device.

Please provide more details... to just say 'group emails', I don't know what is happening. Please be very specific on exactly what do emails and do not reach this specific e-mail from your account. For example, to use a different e-mail account (for example, from a computer) and send an email to this account, with only the unique about this recipient. Then send another one, but add another recipient to this e-mail. If both receive, so in fact things work correctly.

Please then clarify what a "group email" is made for you. Is this something to someone who uses a distribution list? Or is it something anyone who adds each recipient a? Or is it a system of automated e-mail you receive from? Something else maybe? Just "e-mail to the group," I have no idea what is actually. And, have you checked with the sender that your e-mail address remains one of the beneficiaries? For, if your email address has been abandoned, then it would obviously no email to reach you.

    Adeline says:

I just spoke with Orange again and they said contact Blackberry because they fear that I receive e-mails and the problem was solved!

Well, then they gave you, I'm sorry to say. End users have no free channel to contact directly the BlackBerry. Indeed, this site is not in contact with BlackBerry... This is a user to user community. The only way to communicate with BlackBerry for free is to be back for BlackBerry by your carrier... they have official channels to do this. Otherwise, there is a fees-based method that costs you money just for your first question, without any guarantee of success.

    Adeline says:

I also have a new icon that has appeared on my screen at the top right?  It is an oblong box, left side is black with a white combination chart inside and the right side is white with a black wifi graph in it.  What does that mean?

This is new? These sounds quite normal icons that should always be displayed. See if they correspond to what in the present:

    Adeline says:

    Also, please what is BES?

BES is BlackBerry Enterprise Service/System/Solution/Server - this is the method that companies use to improve the normal capabilities of the BBs which they control. If you get calendar, Contacts, tasks, Notes Sync wireless to your BB, then you're on BES and need to talk to your BES / IT admins.

    Adeline says:

My apologies for any questions.  I am now frustrated on this subject, as I have no email for more than 3 days

No worries... it's why many of us volunteer here, to answer the questions that people have.

Good luck and let us know!

  • Email from removal of blackBerry Smartphones

Currently, the handheld is fixed to delete on the mailbox & Pocket that removes a message from your handheld when it is deleted in Outlook and vice versa. What the user wants, it's when it deletes an e-mail message in Outlook, removes it from your handheld as well, but when she removes an email on the handheld, it remains on Outlook. Is it possible to do this? It does not appear that the options remove on cover that then it would be not possible.

    on blackberry:
Choose the option delete on "device".

==> When you delete a message on the device, it stays in Outlook.

    on Outlook:
    don't shift + delete
Just delete the message so that the message is placed in the "deleted items".

Then you must be between 1 and 15 minutes before the device is aware of this movement.
==> When it is updated, it will delete the messages on the device.
Then, you can empty the 'deleted items' in Outlook.

You can force this new awareness, on the device, when you are in the list of messages:
Press menu, and then select "closer now".

  • Email - pop3 - valid - bis - blackBerry Smartphones do not receive emails

I'm new to blackberry and I have a new storm 9500 series of verizon.  I have installation three (personal) e-mail - a yahoo mail and two POP3 accounts.  My yahoo account seems to work perfectly, but the other two pop3 do not seem to receive at all.

    Here are the details:

    (1) I have set up all three through the device

    (2) when the pop3 were not working after the initial validation, I contacted the technical support of Verizon and they informed me on the BIS website.

    (3) I've deleted my pop3 accounts and rebuilt the BIS Web site and post them without problem

    (4) I received my validation messages on both accounts pop3 without problem

    (5) I got one or two test messages for each pop3 account

    (6) shortly after, I stop receiving all messages for pop3 accounts.

    ((7) repeat steps 3)-6)

Finally, I went to the websites of these two providers of Internet services and looking for something special for blackberry support and can't find anything substantial.  I am at a loss.  There is no configuration of filters and I checked the box to forward the e-mail to the device.

    Thank you.

Bifocals - thanks for the response.

I think that I thought about it.  But to answer your question, Yes, I always send Service books to update my BIS accounts.

So, I use the simple Outlook Express on a PC "always on" at home.  It seems that my two ISP in question send a copy of the e-mail to BIS timely so my client at home receives emails before they are sent to BIS.  In the my client ADVANCED options, I had to put my messages to be left on the server for a day to give enough time for the e-mail accounts that you want to synchronize with Blackberry.  It seems that there is a lag of 10 minutes to receive emails on my client vs my device.  I tested this all day with good results.  So, originally I had my emails being rubbed server after childbirth.  What they obviously not send to the BIS and my client at the same time to give of their time to the process seem to be the thing.

  • Email regular POP3 for blackBerry Smartphones will not be implemented

Hi guys, my small business has recently moved to a new dedicated server and after works well at first, now I am unable to set up one of our mailboxes on any BlackBerry (torch tried, "BOLD", curved) device on any carrier (Rogers, Bell Canada and T-Mobile, AT & T in the United States). I have try the basic settings (email address and password), then when this fails, advanced settings (which are necessary as my email user name is non-standard; it is always username + example.com when the address is [email protected] and the mail server is mail.example.com). After a long "treatment...". "I am told"address incorrect email and password. ... If the error persists, contact "my server" the thing is, all of these mailboxes works fine in any other client e-mail with the same settings (Outlook, Thunderbird, iPad, etc.) and as I said, worked fine a few times on BlackBerry before now doesn't work at all. In a sense, I am the administrator of my server, even if I was on with the support of my hosting provider and they are confused as well. This problem does not occur on any of their other similar hosted servers, only mine. My question for everyone here is if there is some process, some address, something to the RIM that should be allowed to communicate with my mail server tha could potentially be blocked in some way, and if anyone has any ideas on how I could know if what is happening. My default mail server is Dovecot (including the BlackBerry "Fastmail' service, which worked fabulously before this started), but I tried Courier so unsuccessfully for the mail server itself does not seem to be the problem. I am happy to provide additional information or even a test account, if anyone has a suggestion!

    Problem solved.

If someone needs to know, http://btsc.webapps.blackberry.com/btsc/search.do?cmd=displayKC&docType=kc&externalId=KB11036 describes the IP addresses that must be unlocked in order for the BIS interact with a mail server.

However, DO NOT included on this list has been 74.82.80.0/24, another server RIM, I discovered this morning had been blocked by my server. This list has been updated end of 2011, so I guess they changed things since then. Anyway, once I unlocked which will, everything works now.

Does anyone know how I can contact RIM and suggest they update their list so other people do not go through this?

  • Separate no email NO SMS ISSUE blackBerry Smartphones

    Hello-

The other day I ceased to receive emails from work and had to delete a mail from my blackberry account and then enter it again. He started to work and now I get emails from work and gmail.

I separate emails for work, 1 for gmail.  Email me would be and mark it as a new message to the appropriate folder for the e-mail account, as it is entered.  It would also be marked as a new message in the Messages icon.  While it was to separate the fines.

Since the abolishment of the other day, my gmail works fine.  Email goes directly to this account, mark it as new.

However, my work email won't my work account.  He only goes in the folder main message which is marked as new.  Being not fundamentally separated.

I appreciate your help - I keep seeing how to separate the TEXT from emails, and this isn't my problem.  My problem is the e-mail accounts from each other in the list on the right.

    Thank you

That being the case, I can suggest a number of things

    1. Check the settings of E-mail: move messages, BB, and select Options. Go in the settings of electronic mail, then make sure you display Message Count is set to 'No read' rather than nothing. If this does not work, try the following...
    2. Service books remove & return for POP account on messaging device. You need access to your Blackberry Internet Service online account to send these service books once they have been deleted off the unit. NOTE: ONCE the SERVICE BOOKS WERE DELETED FOR a PARICULAR ACCOUNT, the DEVICE will RECEIVE MORE EMAIL FOR THIS SPECIFIC E-MAIL ADDRESS, where THE NEED TO send BACK THEM TO the BRI ACCOUNT online.

Go into Options-> Options-> service book. Find your e-mail address POP on the list, highlight the item, press the BB button and delete. There will be several entries. Once they have all been deleted, leaving the camera ON and remove the battery. Replace the battery after 5 seconds. Wait until the recharge device & then return the directories of the BIS service online service.

Can someone tell me how I can send a copy of the email that I send from MS Outlook 2010 for my BlackBerry Bold 9700 without having to manually include myself in e-mail every time?

I am able to do the opposite as I set up my phone to send the same email to my computer.

  • Email from Yahoo of blackBerry Smartphones

My yahoo email stopped working (while I was in Fla {live in TX}).  AOL still works, but not Yahoo.  I removed the battery and let it reset itself 1 x. also change in the Setup wizzard since I changed my password.  Password has been change before I left for Florida.   Suggestions/corrections?

    Hello!

UH... 1 x? As only tiny? And as in 1XEV not? On the Association, you will need to show 1XEV (uppercase) to have a full service. Alternatively, 1 x, did you think you were doing a reset just once?

So, if you have 1XEV, then you should try the following things (stop working).

    Return Service directories:

    http://www.BlackBerry.com/BTSC/microsites/search.do?cmd=displayKC&docType=kc&externalId=KB02830&SLIC...

    Re-register the THS:

Options > Advanced Options > host Routing Table > (no matter what line is highlighted) BBKey > sign up now

    Send Service books again.

Remove and re-add the leads Yahoo BIS.
