  • Smartphones blackBerry Desktop Manager 4.6 and 4.7 email reconcile with outlook 2003 problem

    Hello

I am very new to the family "BlackBerry" but experiencing problems with the Desktop Manager software. I have a Blackberry "BOLD", use Desktop Manager 4.7 v (latest version) and Outlook 2003. I can set up and synchronize with Outlook calendar, tasks, Memo, and contacts very well, but the 'box' above is to "Reconcile the emails" is grayed out and I cannot select.

Surely this is a basic function - that is to reconcile my Outlook Inbox with my Inbox BlackBerry "BOLD" combined? No idea why it doesn't work for me - it is a setting of Outlook or a Desktop Manager problem? Very frustrating! Any help gratefully received.

    Thank you

    Chris

Believe me, you can not, you need BES to synchronize emails.

  • The Outbox email stuck in Outlook 2010 with 80 MB of video. Cannot remove.

I have an email with a 80 MB video file that is stuck in my Outbox of MS Outlook 2010.  I tried going to 'Work offline' to delete, but will not remove.  I tried to restart Outlook while 'offline' and Outlook itself does not open when I click the icon in my taskbar, and I can't find the program ranked among the '' programs. ''  I searched with the windows tool to search for the file and I can find it on a search list, but it has no path of file so that I can see exactly where it is.  If I left click on the icon that appears in the search, he takes me to the email in Outlook.  If I right click to get a window with options like delete, there is no popup window.

In short, I can't delete this item in Outlook and I can't find a way outside of Outlook to locate and delete.  Outlook keeps trying to send the file everytime I open the program and I keep telling myself that he can't touch the file because it is 'send.'  Now you can guess where I would like to send the file.

God only knows how it happened, but after I posted this problem I went back to work and program Outlook that would not open when "working offline," well, guess what... Well Yes, he opened.  Of course, there was the email incriminated in the Outbox.  I right click and delete the guy.  GONE!  For some reason, it was a required period after I left Outlook and before she would reopen.  What he did during this time, I don't know.  Perhaps he felt that I was tempted to uninstall - a primitive form of artificial intelligence to Microsoft.  In any case, the problem is solved in this way:

Click the send/receive tab at the top of the screen in Outlook 2010

    Click "work offline".

Watch this summons to appear at the bottom of the screen-"work offline".

    Close Outlook

Get a slow Cup of coffee for 30 minutes.

    Reopen Outlook.

    Go to the Outbox

Right click on the stuck email.

    Say a little prayer.

Delete it using the context menu.

Anyone know how to transfer old emails and contacts in outlook 2003 on xp computer to a new computer using windows live mail on windows 7.  Unit XP will not let me copy the PST to outlook, continued to give me 'path not found' or something like that.  Nothing on the new computer (windows 7) seems to be able to read pst file.

  • I have problems when sending emails on Outlook Express (Windows XP Home) told in the Outbox, even if they were sent. What can I do?

I have problems when sending emails on Outlook Express (Windows XP Home) told in the Outbox, even if they were sent.  What can I do?

You have apparent dbx file corruption.

Spend most of your messages out of the Inbox and then create new folders to send and sent items box after having moved the messages you want to save to a local folder that you create.

Tools | Options | Maintenance | Store folder will reveal the location of your Outlook Express files. Note the location and navigate on it in Explorer Windows or, copy and paste in start | Run.

In Windows XP, Win2K & Win2K3 the OE user files (DBX and WAB) are by default marked as hidden. To view these files in Windows Explorer, you must enable Show hidden files and folders under start | Control Panel | Folder Options icon | Opinion, or in Windows Explorer. Tools | Folder options | View.

With OE closed, find the DBX files for the items in the Outbox and sent and delete them.  New ones will be created automatically when you open OE.

After you're done, followed by compacting your folders manually while working * off * and do it often.

Click Outlook Express at the top of the the folder tree so no folders are open. Then: File | Work offline (or double-click on work online in the status bar). File | Folder | Compact all folders. Don't touch anything until the compacting is completed.

    General precautions for Outlook Express:

Do not archive mail in the receipt or sent items box. Create your own user-defined folders and move messages you want to put in them. Empty the deleted items folder daily. Although the dbx files have a theoretical capacity of 2 GB, I recommend all a 300 MB max for less risk of corruption.

Disable analysis in your e-mail anti-virus program. • Export of email from Windows Mail to Outlook 2003

Can I export e-mails from Windows Vista Mail to Outlook 2003

    1. the process requires Outlook and Windows Mail being installed and functional on the machine do the transfer.

    2. to move the e-mail messages, export to Microsoft Outlook (or Exchange) of in Windows Mail.  This places the e-mail messages in the Outlook Personal Folders file that is attached to the default Outlook profile.  When you then open Outlook, your messages will be already there, no need to import.  Export emails from OE/Windows Mail still works better than import with Outlook.

    3. to move Contacts, export them Windows Mail for one. CSV (Comma Separated Values) file and import the given in Outllook.

  • Migrate emails from Outlook 2003 to Windows 7 Live Mail - without using OE6

I upgraded that computer from Vista to Windows 7 64 bit. I have decided to switch from Outlook 2003 to Windows Live Mail, but cannot find a way to export my old mails from Outlook to WinMail. I read it online through Outlook Express 6 as an intermediary, but when I tried, it turns out that you can not install OE6 on a 64-bit computer.

So I am at a loss. How can I move my old mails from Outlook 2003 to WinMail?

You are welcome!  Outlook Express is part of Windows XP, so do not install it.  Here are the highlights:

    1. start Outlook, import the .pst file, quit Outlook.
    2. start Outlook Express, import messages from Outlook, close Outlook Express.
    3. copy the Outlook Express store folder in Windows 7.  To find its location, click Tools > Options > maintenance > store folder .
    4. start Windows Live Mail, import messages from the Outlook Express store folder.

I think that this will pick up all accounts.

  • Outlook Express 6, Outlook 2000 and Outlook 2003 print incomplete emails if IE8 is installed.

The right side of the first page of a printed email from Outlook Express 6, Outlook 2000, or Outlook 2003 is truncated on a computer that is running Windows XP SP3 with Internet Explorer 8 is installed.  E-mails containing tables are specifically affected, but it may be any other emails as well. This problem is easily reproducible on any XP machine running IE8 and any version of outlook prior to 2007. It seems that Microsoft has stopped using the IE from Outlook 2007 print engine. One of these same machines that have this problem, if you uninstall IE8 and go back to IE7, the problem goes away.

I searched all over the web trying to solve this problem. It seems that there is some workaround solutions, but not a solution for this problem for XP users. Microsoft has released a fix for this EXACT problem for users of Windows Vista and Windows 7. This hotfix will not install on a XP system. The link to the fix is here:

    http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/980333

There is another thread on this topic in forum windows 7:

    http://social.answers.Microsoft.com/forums/en-us/InternetExplorer/thread/8c629797-DB1C-470C-92af-015e4ea03110

The question in this thread has been resolved with the patch that I mentioned above, but when joined XP users, it was recommended that someone start a new thread about this in XP. I did now and am waiting for a response from Microsoft.

Possible temporary solutions (for those of you are experiencing this problem):

1 - back to IE7 (I'm not an acceptable solution in the enterprise environment).

    2. after the opening of the email, go to the file and save it as an html file. Open the HTML in ie8 or your favorite browser and print from there.

3 - the upgrade to Office 2007 or 2010 (if I wanted to spend the money on a new product, I would. However, I refuse to do that simply because an old version, I bought doesn't work anymore.

    Success!

So, this is a summary of what I've done:

1 has begun with an installation of XP SP3 updated with IE8 installed. At this point, I have the right margin bug in OE6.
    2. uninstalled the latest update of security for IE8, which to this day is KB2559049. Restarted.
    3. (you may need to perform this step in Mode safe) renamed ieframe.dll in C:\Windows\System32 ieframe.old. Ieframe.dll manually copy the LDR version in the second most recent Cumulative Security Update for IE8, which, as of this writing is KB2530548 in the C:\Windows\System32 folder. That version LDR is located at C:\WINDOWS\$hf_mig$\KB2530548-IE8\SP3QFE and is the version 8.00.6001.23165(longhorn_ie8_ldr.110420-1800). Restarted.
    4. check that the right margin bug is now fixed. Windows Update told me that the most recent Cumulative Security Update for IE8, KB2559049, was now available to the installation, I did. Restarted.
    5. check the ieframe.dll version that is now in my C:\Windows\System32 folder and it is 8.00.6001.23192(longhorn_ie8_ldr.110617-1815) as hoped. Confirmed that the bug of the right margin is always fixed.

This procedure does 2 things that just copies the LDR latest version updated security in the System32 folder would not prove it with. :

    (A) this shows that manual copy of the dll LDR of security Cumulative Update and then apply the next update will keep the ieframe.dll on the LDR track. There is no need to worry that the next update replace with the MDM (non-hotfix) version.

    (B) there was a bunch of other DLLs that have been on the LDR track when KB2559049 has been reinstalled, it seems that the ieframe.dll LDR can have dependencies on other DLLs being also in the LDR branch, or vice versa. Simply having the LDR ieframe.dll since the 2nd upgrade newer in the System32 folder when you install the latest, due to the most recent update to other dll LDR trace. This includes iepeers.dll, ieproxy.dll, iertutil.dll, c:\windows\system32\msfeeds.dll, wininet.dll, and xpshims.dll (and probably others). Makes me conclude that my method (steps 1-4 above) is greater than the fair copy in the LDR new dll for ieframe.dll, since the other dependant dll LDR manually will be installed using my method.

  • Outbox stuck on Outlook 2007

I use Outlook 2007 on XP and I have a few emails stuck in the Outbox.

I tried a few different settings, the connection to the server with a normal connection, a SSL, TLS. SSL does not work but the normal and TLS works when I click on the button "test connection". But e-mails from the Recycle Bin are still there.

I just installed Service Pack 2 for Office 2007, but the problem persists.

In most of my efforts, I don't get an error message. Once I got an error message saying that it timed out the connection to the SMTP server.

When I try all these things with Outlook Express, everything works normally. The Test account works. How Outlook can not work?

I also try to delete messages in the Outbox folder, but the system, I cannot do so because it is said that he sends them. I click the buttons cancel, he still complains with the same message.

Everyone comes to this kind of problems before? Is there a way to dig deeper in the journal of communication in order to see what could be wrong here?

See here for the 3 methods of elimination of mails blocked http://www.howto-outlook.com/faq/messagestuckinoutbox.htm

You cannot play with the settings of your account, unless your ISP supports the setting you have selected.

If you have integrated Anti Virus in Outlook that can be the cause of many problems. Integration does not give better protection that the wicked would be detected by the scanner in real-time.
If you have not integrated AV, uninstall this AV, so symantec, use the utility on their website to remove completely.
Restart the computer, reinstall the AV without the outlook integration. Then update your virus deffinitions.

Another cause must be running an auto send/receive definition - it change to put 10

It is difficult to understand what the problem could be.  You can try compacting and repairing the database on the machine of your wife, but I don't know if this will have an impact on the problem (seewww.oehelp.com/WMUtil/).  Moreover, as a workaround you could transfer the Bank of messages of the wife to your pc, import the messages and then export them to Outlook, and then move the PST to his machine.  See here for general information: www.oehelp.com/backup.aspx

You can also consult an Outlook forum to see if they have a solution.
