  OK, I found a solution that is acceptable to me, if all goes well it wll be for other institutions.

  Just download the Yahoo toolbar and make sure to select the 'mail' app, in my version, there were 4 check boxes, the first three have been selected and the fourth, the e-mail option, was not.  I have others unchecked, installed the toolbar and after its closure and reopend IE, the toolbar is active.  I went to default programs start menu by default/programs/set and then chosen yahoo mail as the default mail program.  Then I went back to IE and clicked on the key which is the toolbar settings and disabled.

  Now everything works as before and I do not have the yahoo toolbar clutter my viewable area.

  Click: specified account and enter the account name for the second Inbox.
  Click: specified folder and select the folder that you created.
  Name the rule.

  Move the rule to the top of the list of rules, and incoming messages will be separated into their respective folders.

  If you use Yahoo Mail via Internet Explorer, you can not currently set it as your default email.  This task is accomplished by the Yahoo toolbar item in Windows XP systems and this component does currently not work on Vista and Windows 7 systems.  We hope all that yahoo fixes this issue soon.   Each email address has its own calendar, which has its own EventList.  You can use the PIM.listPIMLists method to get a list of all events lists.  This feature was added in version 4.6.0 API of BlackBerry set.

  If your ISP is also your email provider, they lie to you or the person to whom you spoke was just ignorant...  The error message is a mistake from their server server-side.  There may be no doubt of that.  It seems to indicate that they do not allow more than 200 messages, but the error is rather ambiguous it is impossible to determine what line the error refers and what period of time the limit extends.
