  I have created email forms web, standard "contact me" type ones ( http://www.allgoonerdup.com/ContactUs/Contact.php) as well as some more in depth more ( http://www.vipink.co.uk/LimoService/VIPLimoBooking.php) against the coding is the same for input text boxes. I now need to produce another form of web, but one of the questions must have a drop of water in a box - working example ( http://dt7design.co.uk/Forms/Form.php) and the coding does not work for this section - nobody knows how this code correctly. Any information would be appreciated.

  Looks like you need to add values for the "select" menu options. So, more like:

  The label is just in the interest of the browser (in general), and the value is what is presented to the script. From there on, the treatment would be the same in PHP (unless it's a multiple selection menu, you must manage the tabular value)

• Problem with my email form

  I ran into a small issue and cannot see what is causing my email form does not work. I did a few times now and that you have copied the actionscript code that I currently work but the it still does not work. The form can be seen live here and the flash file can be downloaded from here.
  
  I am enclosing the code to my flash below form and if anyone requires the code to my page email.cfm (this is the page that processes and sends emails) so please let me know. I'd appreciate any help I can get with this, and I work on it for a few days now and have rewritten the code about 6 times - it starts to do my head in.

• Creating an email form multiple group subscriptions

  I am trying to create a landing page that will allow users to subscribe to several e-mail groups (such as the page list of subscriptions, but with a field to enter a new email address and language on subscription rather than unsubscribe), using check boxes to select the groups to which they want to subscribe to.

  I created a form with the fields, choice and e-mail list, but I don't see how to subscribe to a particular group e-mail based on the value of the list of choices, as the only way to make a conditional update of list of choice is to set the value to 'exactly' or 'not exactly' value.

  Basically, I did a work around, creating a form with an e-mail address field and a custom field check box for each newsletter.

  Then, I created a processing step to subscribe the user to each group of newsletter. For each of these steps, I put the condition that the corresponding field of the checkbox "match exactly" on.

  My host tells me that it is absolutely necessary to send the email from the contact form via SMTP.

  I Don t care what my hosting provider tells me but e-mail from contact Muse forms are NOT sent to a few sites that I sold to my clients.

  Occasionally (a few times per year) this question appears, due to some very strict and more anxious hosts. They occupy a point in this possibility of abuse on (which can be avoided), but there are some methods more 'old fashioned' , which are always crucial in support. However, if this is their final verdict, then read in this thread (from the starting point of the link) and find someone who can do some coding like this for you.

  I've set up a contact form on Muse pointing to my email address [email protected] .  I use google apps for businesses to manage e-mails from my company.  I get the message error "the server has encountered an error.'

  
  Here is the really strange part.  ONLY, I get this error when sending a [email protected] e-mail address.  Any other e-mail address goes through but not addresses ending with gmail.com.  Please please help.  I tried Googling, read the article that you have provided and nothing is explain this.

  If I'm not mistaken, notification form is not received only if the address email @gmail.com is used in the submission of the form?

  If this is the case then please contact your host and let them know that @gmail.com addresses are filtered, in the case where miss me something here, please let me know.

  I am somewhat proficient in coding and what I don't know that I try to learn on bulletin boards.  I am trying to create a very simple e-mail to a Web site form.  I have seen many codes online, but they are so complicated... I want simple.  After a lot of trial and error and days of research on discussion forums, I came with the codes below.  It seemed to work, I conducted tests, they went through every time.  Then they stopped (GoDaddy has messed around with MX records by the way).  GoDaddy told me that my code was wrong when I asked tech support.  I told them as funny because he had worked.  I have tweaked all differently, that I could imagine, some test emails have crossed, but whenever they would never happen again... even if I do not change the code a bit.  I called GoDaddy and explained this to them and they ran some tests and told me my code is fine, it's just 'expectation'... that's why I don't get emails from test immediately.  I told them it's very funny because if I send a test of hotmail e-mail, I'll receive it instantly.  I'm trying so know if my code is causing the problem or is it something else?  And, if my code is very good, why it doesn't send to the e-mail address or get 'file', yet, hotmail or yahoo mail can get there immediately?  Without further ADO, here's...  The form is in an html file, he heads to a php file, which then sends it to the e-mail address of the company (we use "[email protected]" as an example here).

  There it is.  Can anyone tell me if these codes are correct, or if there is nothing wrong or that I have excluded, that must be included (keep the simplest possible)?  Any help is greatly appreciated.

  I would not use your script. Even if it sends a message,

  • It's not: validation of form fields - even minimum.
  • It leaves your form open to exploitation and repetitive submissions from spam bots.
  • It is not disinfect form data.

  You don't like it but security is essential.

Some hosts refuse to send e-mail messages from email addresses on different hosts. If your form sends email as expected, change the first email listed in your form of Muse to an address on xxxxxxxx.co.uk address, and then try again.

  What should I do for my hosting to make it work.

  It is a system message that Muse will give if you are using an email that is not even a field of publication as several hosting platforms does not work with the external domain emails.

  You can contact accommodation undertaken in this regard or use an e-mail domain hosting in shape.

  I was wondering if anyone knew how, or if this is possible in muse.  I would like to set up a voucher for my site page, actually quite a few good pages on the same site.  For guests visiting the site, they must enter their email and name via the e-mail form.  Then, they are directed to the right page.

  I need to know if there is a way to stop someone say copy the url of the page of and he give it to friends, or say type in google "" * good page "and ending up maybe this way." I had not planned to name the page * page in meta in gift data properties, but might use a string instead? I thought that it might help with the chances of a google search to the page right?  But what in him and one to copy url giving is there any way to stop this?

  It is not 100% foolproof, but if you add the following line to the html for the page head and also uncheck include Page in sitemap.xml, that should prevent him from appearing in Google, etc.

  I have a MAC OS X 10.7.5 - I have 2 sites that use e-mail very basic PHP forms that worked very well until I upgraded to Dreamweaver.  Now, I can fill in the form and there is not error - it seems that it works as before, but I never have the email.  Says Adobe support has nothing to do with the upgrade and there is an error in the script code.  Can someone help me?  Here is the send.php

  Sure that you will find the upgrade is not to blame, and the timing is a coincidence.

  Cause the most likely problem is your SMTP server being modified settings. It is very common to block mail scripts because they are a major source of spam.

  In addition, as Rob says, always include a "From" header It is not required, but doesn't it have will significantly increase the chances of your anti spam mail.

  The subject of the e-mail form is composed automatically by using the name of the form that you specify. There's no other way to change that in Muse. You can use the name of the form field to customize the subject of the email.

  The error that I'll be back when I try and insert the extenstion with the form is:

  TypeError: formNode.childNodes [i]. Name has no property

  What should I do to get this form to work with the extension, the answer is probably simple, but I'm lost as ive tried a few things and failed.

  To add to Jon, I would also say that you add a 'name' attribute to all yourelements such as:
