• change the ip number of the Forms Server

  I had to change the ip number of the server forms (forms 11.1.1.4 weblogic 10.3.4) on server 2008r2.

  This is wrong. The weblogic administration console works fine, but forms does not work. Nothing can connect to shapes

  ports. Far as I can tell in weblogic should not have to be changed, because everything was in terms of the

  host name Windows which is unchanged, or the domain name that is also unchanged.

  But it does not work. I tried to use the command chgiphost on webtier who is also installed and that

  did not work. According to doc 1350961.1 the script went wrong in this version of the fusion. I tried the

  suggested new script and that does not work either. (null/config/OPMN/opmn/opmn.xml is an invalid file)

  Any ideas on things to look at would be welcome.

  I thought about it. too bad, it took a week. To set up a replacement Forms Server, I tried to follow

  1060058.1 who advocated in this hard coding a number ip in instructions for weblogic. Then

  It dawned on me that I had done something like that in the old form server I had set up to

  launch at startup of the machine. The command to do so had been deposited in the windows Task Scheduler:

  Was it that the number of bad ip hard coded in there somewhere? I disabled this command, restart and

  OpenMotif *.

  All the rpm is installed and applied the os library patch 6078836 also. But no luck got still the same error.

  Dear team,

  Problem solved.

  Solution:

  Applied libxcb - 1.8.1 - 1.el6.i686 rpm and restarted the application services.

  We now able to open the form without problem.

  In some ways, the entry is missing, now you must follow the procedure below

  1. shut down the application services.

  2 conn as a user of the database applications and run under statement.

  EXEC FND_CONC_CLONE. SETUP_CLEAN;
  COMMIT;
  EXIT;

  3. run autoconfig and DB level and then on the Application tier.

  Note:-I suggest you take before backup DB and Applications.

  4. start applications serivices.

  My Department has the form server which we don't use. What is the complexity of having him in place and run with livecycle forms? Is there any server side scripting required? If so, what kind of scripts? Should forms be redesigned to run on the server?

  The language will depend on the server/web app server that you submit to. Using ASP, .net, JSP, Java. PHP, to name a few. The form server has a SOAP connection and an EJB interface, so if you use the EJB Java is the way to go... If you use something else then the SOAP interface is the way to go.

  Developer 6i is no longer available for download (at least not that I can find: it is not available in the usual places [e-Delivery, OTN, My Oracle Support]). The only way I can think of that you can get the version you need for Red Hat is to contact the Oracle Support and submit a special request to the software or if you know someone who has a copy of the software - ask them to make you a copy.

• Problem with special characters when retrieving the server information

  I use a HttpConnection to get data from a server, and sometimes there are a few very unusual characters. The data comes from the server in the format UTF-8 and converted into ISO-8859-1 does not work for Cyrillic more obscure.

• Number of the page OK in preview, empty on server

  I have a XDP template which is merged with XML data on the server to produce a flat PDF. Several pages are sometimes produced. On the form is good, including totals totals except the page number and page. The current page and number of pages are always empty. In the designer of the preview always look great.   The only change I made to fix that changes the Runt "Client and server" property for the script where page numbers are calculated.

• Firefox makes my filling out forms online when the standard form of information such as name, address, e-mail, phone number. I went just from Goole Chrome who had this feature.

  Google Chrome would provide drop-down list prompt you for this information that I started to enter the information. I would just like to point out the correct prompt and press enter and the information must be entered in the online form.

  Hi, I'm a photographer. I have several macs: an a MacMini 2012 end El Capitan I want to use as the server running. I have OSX installed 5.0.15 server. I'm a complete novice on how to set up and run a server. Information / instructions (or training info) out there would you recommend for someone like me? When I asked Apple they recommended that I put a question here because apparently they could not lead me and instructions for OSX Server 5.

• Is my office empty (on Server 2008 R2) because of the lack of activation of Windows?

  I installed the Server 2008 R2 in October (the 5th, to be more precise) and then Exchange 2010. Apparently I forgot either activate or enter a valid license key (I don't remember that far back) and now the machine starts at the standard login screen Ctrl-Alt-Delete, but once I connect (creds Admin, but not the local administrator account) the screen is empty except for three lines of text in the lower right :

  This copy of Windows is not genuine.

  Although there is no Explorer shell and no icons, I can Ctrl-Alt-Del and start the Task Manager. I tried to use "slmgr-rearm' (and almost every option slmgr) by using a command prompt, but nothing happens." I tried to run slui.exe but nothing happens.

  Any help to get this machine would be appreciated.
