• change the ip number of the Forms Server

  I had to change the ip number of the server forms (forms 11.1.1.4 weblogic 10.3.4) on server 2008r2.

  This is wrong. The weblogic administration console works fine, but forms does not work. Nothing can connect to shapes

  ports. Far as I can tell in weblogic should not have to be changed, because everything was in terms of the

  host name Windows which is unchanged, or the domain name that is also unchanged.

  But it does not work. I tried to use the command chgiphost on webtier who is also installed and that

  did not work. According to doc 1350961.1 the script went wrong in this version of the fusion. I tried the

  suggested new script and that does not work either. (null/config/OPMN/opmn/opmn.xml is an invalid file)

  Any ideas on things to look at would be welcome.

  I thought about it. too bad, it took a week. To set up a replacement Forms Server, I tried to follow

  1060058.1 who advocated in this hard coding a number ip in instructions for weblogic. Then

  It dawned on me that I had done something like that in the old form server I had set up to

  launch at startup of the machine. The command to do so had been deposited in the windows Task Scheduler:

  c:\blahblah\bin\StartManagedWeblogic.cmd WLS_FORMS t3 / / SERVER: 7001

  Was it that the number of bad ip hard coded in there somewhere? I disabled this command, restart and

  has been able to start weblogic manually and... it worked. I guess the old ip number had been encrypted somewhere and this is why a search for her as a text did not. I vote for not hardcode in fabric ip numbers. Pouvez instructions

  for 1060058.1 be changed to not to use IP numbers? It would be a big step for mankind oracle.

• FRM-92101: there was a failure in the Forms Server during startup

  Dear all,

  I cloned Oracle APPS R12 on RHEL6 and cloning is complete, but all by opening the form, we receive some error like below.

  «FRM-92101: there was a failure in the Forms Server when booting.» This could happen because of invalid Configuration

  Please look in the log file of the web server for more details. "

  
  

  I cut the RPM using

  Oracle E-Business Suite installation and upgrade version Notes 12 (12.1.1) for Linux x 86-64 [ID

  761566.1] metalink document and especially

  OpenMotif *.

  xorg-x 11-libs-compat * RPM

  
  

  All the rpm is installed and applied the os library patch 6078836 also. But no luck got still the same error.

  Dear team,

  Problem solved.

  Solution:

  Applied libxcb - 1.8.1 - 1.el6.i686 rpm and restarted the application services.

  We now able to open the form without problem.

• form server is not coming

  Today, what form server was not. We are not able to run any shape.
  When I'm bouncing the application.
  I see that the server is not coming with success.

  In some ways, the entry is missing, now you must follow the procedure below

  1. shut down the application services.

  2 conn as a user of the database applications and run under statement.

  EXEC FND_CONC_CLONE. SETUP_CLEAN;
  COMMIT;
  EXIT;

  3. run autoconfig and DB level and then on the Application tier.

  Note:-I suggest you take before backup DB and Applications.

  4. start applications serivices.

  Note:-I suggest you take a backup DB and Applications before doing anything.

  Developer 6i is no longer available for download (at least not that I can find: it is not available in the usual places [e-Delivery, OTN, My Oracle Support]). The only way I can think of that you can get the version you need for Red Hat is to contact the Oracle Support and submit a special request to the software or if you know someone who has a copy of the software - ask them to make you a copy.

• Unable to connect to the database from Oracle Forms server

  I installed Oracle Forms on top of Weblogic server. When I try to connect to an Oracle Forms home by TNS naming database, it returns error "ORA-12504". It works fine when I use EZConnect.

  The TNSNAMES file. ORA file must be created in ORACLE_INSTANCE/config, not in %ORACLE_HOME%\FRHome\network\admin

• Muse form server has encountered a problem

  Hi, I have several websites with forms and none is usually a problem.  Now if I have a strange.  No matter what I try it gives me the error the server has encountered a problem when sending the form.  Can you help me please? Thank you very much.  I tried to remove the recovery, change of email address and add a new shape to anything will do.

  I've sorted this problem myself.  I realized that it was the 123reg hosting account that was the problem.  He didn't like the form of muse transmitting emails to a gmail account and not a fixed e-mail address domain.  I have created an e-mail address with the hosting company, inserted it into the form and then transfer the mail automatically to the address that I wanted.  Bit of a work-around but sorted.

  Did someone know where I can download the server 6i form, I have a cd of developer 6i but when trying to install the server form 6i
  This is the display for me it is allowed and I don't think it could be installed.
  Is Server 6i form a commercial product?

  You need the version 6i of Oracle Application Server Enterprise Edition (with Server forms and reports). I doubt if there is a download link for this version.

  If you only need to develop forms, you don't need the OAS. It is only for the production deployment. For development, the Developer Suite is sufficient.

  Here's my situation: I plan to spend my web forms 6i application using Forms 10 g. My application running fine (for now) and we have

  I wonder if a server can handle such an application? Is a better solution to JDeveloper (which has a huge cost is a huge demand) or to use a very powerful server fact? Any idea?

  Depending on your configuration, very probably, it is running on the other node (node of the web) - how to find the number of forms process in R11i & R12? (Doc ID 748314.1)
