  Can anyone help me please with a problem that has me pulling my hair right now. I googled extensively and had no joy. My Indesign Scripting experience is pretty weak, but I spend a lot of time in VBA and PHP then coding and objects are not foreign to me.

  I'm modyfing the existing (and excellent) script to cover my needs. I need to find each instance of a paragraph style, then use the page number and the text to build a content page later. The original script achieved via an index, but it is not convinient for me in this case that I need to first make a change more.

  I successfully converted the original script to search all text that has a special paragraph on her style. I'm so succsefully entering the text. I just can't do, is to enter the number of the search result page. I understand that I probably need to look at the parent page of tags, but I don't see how. If there is no help, the paragraph style is likely to be nested within two or three tags embedded in a text box.

  Any help would be greatly appreciated.

  Thank you for using for-each@section:G_INVOICE, instead of just for each.

  This will reset the page numbers for each invoice.

  Replace G_INVOICE with your actual bill group name.

• Will not print, but 1/2 on the firefox page and only see half of the page to print preview, but will be printwhole page of IE and quickbooks.

  When I try to print anything on the Web, only the left part of the page will print, nothing in the middle right of the page display. It presents this when you preview before printing. I tried taking OFF reduced to fit and it still does not show the right half of the page, printing is just bigger.
  I can print anything Internet Explorer and Quickbooks, but not from Firefox. I downloaded all the versions up to 5.0. He did print prior to upgrade, but I don't know which version actually worked.

  You may or may not have checked the following (the screenshots you have included does not show one way or the other).

  1. in the Configuration System (msconfig), you should look at the tab "Services", not the "Startup" tab  However, do not have a lot of confidence in the suggestion to "allow all services" and especially not non Microsoft services, for any reason, previously disabled.

  2. for what is permissions for registry Enum key, your screenshot shows only permissions for "Everyone".  Have you also checked the permissions of the 'System' and 'Advanced' for all screen everyone and system?  Did you get any error messages when you tried to change the permissions, such as the following:

  

  What happened to your system recently - power surge/failure, installed new software or updates, used a system tuner or register cleaner, etc.?

  It is quite possible that Norton herself - or malware - can be at the origin of this problem.  I suggest to first temporarily disable Norton and then redo the steps of registry key permissions.  You can do it in Mode without fail and go into Services and stop the Norton services that may still be running.

  If disable Norton and reset the permissions does not help you, if you did not recently, download, install, update and run these two free programs.

  Use the free version, not the free trials of "pro" versions  Pay attention during installation uncheck any prechecked boxes that would install some additional third-party programs.

  Once done, you can keep or uninstall programs, or both.  If you keep SAS, I suggest to change its default setting does NOT automatically when Windows starts.

  I have a series of 3 pages to display in the order, page 1, page 2, page 3.  Is it possible to have a button that following the links to the next page in the order using the same code on each page?  Did since then?  I can't imagine a better way to specify it.

  If these pages are generated dynamically the write you a little code that will check the name of the current page and use it will generate the link to the next page. But if all this is static HTML pages then you will need to manually give the respective next page link in a tag href of the next button.

  Do you appreciate the steps by train even once, so again, it does not solve the issue, I would like to as you try the following steps:

  • Uninstall the software. Uninstalling the printer software.
  • Clean boot the computer. How to perform a boot in Windows.
  • Disable all antivirus programs. Disable the anti-virus software.
  • Disable all firewall programs. Turn Windows Firewall on or off.
  • Create a new user account. Management of accounts of users and connections (Windows vista).
  • Reinstall using the full feature software and drivers. HP Photosmart C5100 C6100 and C7100 full feature all-in-one software and drivers.

  I need to retrieve page which have been implemented with InDesign pages numbers. However, these page numbers are generated automatically based on markers (formula) created by using a master page. (Insert special characters-> markers).

  When I try to retrieve items from the page on a page, I'm not able to obtain the page number. If I try to get the pageitem corresponding to the page number of the page master, I retrieve the marker but not the page number that is on my page.

  I wonder if there is any way I can retrieve the page on a given page number using the SDK

  I need to find the number of the page containing a frame.

  Normally, I would use "myFrame.parent.name" to find the page number. However, I can't use this method on a line chart.  What I'm getting back is the story, which has no page number.  I've used in various ways, such as:

  myFrame.parent.insertionPoints [0] .parent

  but nothing returns the page number.  I looked at all the properties of the frame and impossible to find a property, I can handle to extract the page number.

  I create a book 5 Lightroom and really like that it shows me the number of times that that a photo was used in the book.  Is there a way to see where it is used?

  Click on the mouse exactly on the indicator 'Number' and the pages will go to the yellow-culminating point where this image was used. (be in multi-page view CTRL + E)

  I'm close to finishing a book of 257 pages.  All pages are numbered automatically down, and I spent a few weeks carefully constructed an Index at the end of the book that has all the right page numbers listed for everything.  So whatever I do, I can't change my page numbers.

  But at this late stage, I would like to add a few epigraphs (quotations) in four or five places (I just got this idea today, I'm afraid).

  Is it possible to add a few pages here and there (I will add two pages at a time, I know, or he'll hit all the pages that follow, half of them designed to be left, and half designed to be on the right - off) that are not numbered, and that will not affect the numbering of the following pages?

  It is not Automatic way. If you are ready to have unnumbered pages which are not included in the number of pages, you can, for each page the inserted value

  (1) select the first page after the pages will be added

  (2) in the menu pages palette, use the Options Section and number and the page number of started with the value what it is already. In this way, adding pages will not affect the numbering.

  (3) in order to avoid conflicts with the new pages page number, set their numbering on something else as 1,2,3. (as i, ii, iii, for example)

  For later use, you can configure your index with the indexing of InDesign tools, if a false problem, as you would have been able to add the pages and then re - automatically generate a correct index.
