Empty record Audio with video preview...

I have a slide with several Flash videos. I try to record audio to this slide. When I go to the to do and say A3 to "generate Preview" of the slide so that I can comment on a slide real live running, any flash videos actually play. I get a blank grey boxes where videos should be. Actually the 'Preview' slides, they play very well, but videos are not displayed in the preview, by doing my work to comment on what is happening in the video very difficult.

I think that this is related to why the videos do not play in A3 preview mode without generating the slides themselves. It is also a nuisance, because you can't just click on the small"right arrow button" inside Captivate and see live video actually playing. You must refer to the video either by generating the slide completely (and lose access to see the timeline), or have a stand-alone drive also running.

Anyone have any ideas?

Thank you!

I reported the unexpected behavior on the link you gave... Thank you!

Nick

  • Qosmio F10: How to record audio and video and use QosmioPlayer

I am owner of a Qosmio F10-122 with TV tuner and I really need HELP. I'm Italian.

    The questions are:
1 QosmioPlayer version 4.0.1 (2005022812) (according to the procedure of the forum) has installed fine but the sensitivity is poor; in any case the question is: is is possible to record videos? Also is it possible to record audio?

2 input and video output are stupid; I can see Windows and QosmioTV on HDTV via DVI/SCART but I can't input in MCE TV or QosmioPlayer any signal IN Composite; so the question is once again how can record AUDIO from my Home stereo or VCR VHS VIDEO?

    3. I only use VIDEO IN to WATCH is not to save: where is my fault?

    Thanks, Marco

    Hello Marco

I did some testing and I can tell you about my experience on Qosmio G20.

    1. as far as I know early versions of Qosmioplayer did not have the registration option but now I hope that your preinstalled version has REC option. If so, please be sure that you have about 5 GB of free space for the recorded material.

It is not important what signal is sent to your Qosmio (TV or VCR VHS-connected) you can find it if you look at the channels. With REC option, you can save what you want. I tested it with my VCR VHS and I recorded some old movies. This material was recorder und great quality was the same as on cassettes. After recording, I started Windows MCE and transferred the material recorded in Windows using Qosmio player utility.

I have not tried, but I put t think you will be able to record audio using only Qosmioplayer.
    2. you can record movies VHS if you connect your VCR VHS on the Qosmio using the antenna cable. Launch Media center Edition (TV option) and scan channels. In my case, I could watch movies VHS on MCE on channel 31. Using REC option you can save all documents of video cassettes. Later, you can change the recorded material and create own DVDs. It really isn't a problem.

Your audio Home Audio recording can be a bit more problematic, and if you want it to be on the professional path you will need a device external and of course some professional recording software.
    3. I don't know what to write here. Just try to do what I already descriebed under 1 and 2.

    Good bye

  • How to record audio with my laptop closed?

When I want to record sounds in a room on media player, it will stop recording when I close my laptop?

What can I do so it records sound with closed laptop?
I have to say that I want to record sounds in my house, it is imperative, so he needs to be a secret.
    Thank you

    Ideally, you would:

    • change what happens when you close your (do NOTHING when you close)
    • See this video: http://windows.microsoft.com/en-US/windows7/Change-what-happens-when-you-close-your-laptop
    • If you are able to make your model of laptop computer to do nothing, then it should allow you to run whatever program you have running when the cover is opened.
    • For example, you can start recording, push windows key + L to lock the screen (assuming you have a Configuration password), then close the cover.
    • It should behave as if you were recording with the lid open and just lock the screen.

I use Windows 7 and have 2 GB of RAM, but when I record on my hard drive with the LIFECAM VX-3000 reading is slightly, but apparently out of sync.  Does anyone know why?

    Thank you

    Tony Cash

    Hi Anthony,.

Although that do not know what could be the cause, here are a few things you can try.

1 see if turning off the background tension or lowlights helps solve the problem of synchronization. See the webcam of the help manual.

    2. lower the screen resolution. Reference: change your screen resolution

    3. install the latest version of the software of the webcam.

You can get the software here:http://www.microsoft.com/hardware/download/DownloadResult.aspx?category=ICE&type=LifeCam&name=68A-00001&os=Win7_3264&lang=en

  • No audio with videos not transferred from the phone on PC

My son, I use my phone to video with all its "firsts". (He is 15 months old) I recorded his first steps, dance to the songs, etc. on my phone and you want to share with others! However, when I transfer my videos to my computer using the options of sharing or transfer, I have no sound on the computer! I have Windows 7, but I also tried on my mother's computer and she is running XP. Neither worked, so I have no sound. I don't know how to solve this problem.

Well, you can use a program that already has the support of 3gp videos, or use a codec like this Setup program to install just the 3gp codec.

I know that Quicktime supports 3gp integrated, so it should work as well.

  • Sync music audio with video Audio PE10

    Hello.

I'm new to first 10 elements (Changed from Corel to Adobe, so I am not new to video editing, but I'm not used to PE10).

I shoot a lot of girls, circus performances, very often I find music number used when running and that merging with the audio video in the project.

But I have a problem of synchronization of music of the audio track on the video with the separate music track.

To clarify: I want to Audio tracks running at the same time, so that I keep the beat and the whisteling from the audience, but to get the best quality music from the external file merged with the music in the music-video-audio.

Y at - it a special tool or someone can help me with a special technique?

    Cordially Settemand

There is no trick or a special tool for this, Settemand. You just need to zoom in on the timeline and align the waveforms on the two tracks.

It will help if you can spot a clear sound on the waveform - as a loud bang or drum - which allows you to align the two clips.

  • Problems with video previews: Picture freezes during purification (CS6)

I just installed CS6 on my computer after working with CS5.5 and I met a strange problem with my EOS5D Mk 2 and also Ixus 100IS images in Bridge CS6 (in fact, this happens with all videos).

In CS5.5, I could get a glimpse of my mov files and rub through them without many problems (apart from occasional, but good crash... )

In CS6 now the preview of the video starts and everything seems fine, until I have rub to a point later in the video. At this point, the video freezes but the sound continues. The only way to make the video running again is to click pause and then click play again. You can imagine that rub through videos is not fun...

Someone at - it already had a problem like this with CS6?

Since CS5.5 is always installed, I checked and found that in CS5.5 bridge everything still works fine: no video freezes it - only in CS6

I've already updated the latest graphics card driver and all updates cs6. Does anyone have an idea what I could do?

    some stats on my computer:

    Win7 64 bit

NVIDIA geforce GTX 590, pilot 301.42

    no other video software installed

Aside from that, I also realized that the video quality in the preview area is not particularly brilliant (in CS5.5 or CS6). Because the video is proportional to the size of the preview window, I sometimes get artifacts/moirees scale. Is there a way to smooth video playback, as you would in a regular video player?

Yes, this is a known bug.  I found it in beta, Adobe has confirmed, and they should have a fix on the next dot (hopefully) release.

  • Audio with video not included MXF

In PP CS6, the audio MXF files do not come.  The video is fine but there is no audio data.  Y at - it a bug or an update that corrects this problem?

I've done what Jeff said earlier and brought my MXF footage via the media browser, and it worked!  Not that I'm happy that a "work-around" worked and import has not.  I think that there is a bug in CS6 preventing importation of important metadata.  Adobe needs to know.  I don't know that there is a place to report issues.  Jeff and John thanks for your solution!

  • NO sound when recording Audio - problems with Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit

I got in trouble for almost a year now with NO sound when recording Audio with Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit. I just found this forum today. It's really weird how recording with windows and other sound recorder works perfectly since 1998 or so until the upgrade to win 7. Now every time I try to record it shows no found recording device or just fails to record any sound. As you'll see below I have activated What U Hear so I can use the system recording features sounds.

I use the functions of audio recording and pdf reader because I'm legally blind. It is one of the few tools that I could use with ease on all my systems windows for many years.

A similar question has started happening with nvidia graphics cards. AND... I was led to believe that it was a problem with Sony wanting more strong piracy measures built into windows. Am I correct to assume that this is what is happening with the sound also today or is there a solution to this frustrating problem?

I run a dxdiag & posted that, according to me, you asked another user on the forum, the same or similar problem.

Help solve this problem would be greatly appreciated as this has been a problem for quite a while now.

  • Audio recording by/with Flash

    Hello

We work with a client who has a project they need a client to record audio from their computer. We want to make the designs in Flash. Does anyone have an idea or a suggestion on how to record audio through flash (swf) or what software would be useful in conjunction with?

    Thank you!

You can very easily capture audio from a microphone in Flash:

    var mic:Microphone = Microphone.getMicrophone ();
    mic.setLoopBack (); Speakers audio tour

However to save audio has always been a problem in Flash. It is a process delicate work around. You can send to a Flash Media Server and then convert audio using a tool such as the one used for this project:

    http://blog.andrewpaulsimmons.com/2007/05/recording-audio-with-Flash-Player-to.html#links

Audiocassettes in Flash using the NellyMoser codec, which is only mono audio codec of low quality designed for voice only. I found a decoder here as well as those listed in the link above:

    http://code.Google.com/p/nelly2pcm/downloads/list

I hope Flash will improve in the future in this area.

  • How long can I record audio on windows movie maker? __

    Record audio with sound recorder,

(See help in sound recorder) If you want an alternative to the use of Movie Maker.

Sound Recorder allows you to record a sound and save it as an audio file on your computer. You can record sound from various audio devices, such as a microphone that is plugged into the sound card on your computer. The types of sources of audio input, you can record from depend on the audio devices you have and sources of input on your sound card.

A little patience please.  Don't forget that you are awake does not mean that other people are.  I'd leave a Thread open for at least 24 hours before bumping.

I'm sorry to tell you that invokeLater runs the executable on the wire of the event, not a separate Thread.  If you have actually started the treatment in the very thing you're trying to get away from.

You must run the execution in DownloadCombiner treatment in a separate Thread.  This is why, in the article, which I suppose you DownloadCombiner, it extends Thread.

Just for the record, DownloadCombiner is here:
