  Try to compact and repair the database (see www.oehelp.com/WMUtil/).  If this does not help you can try to delete the email account (messages will not be affected), then close WinMail and compact and repair the database again and open WinMail and add your account back once again.

  You can go in the advanced security settings and explicitly deny file record all users "deleting subfolders and files" and "Remove" permissions, make sure that you propagate permissions to all child objects.  But, as mentioned by another poster, if users can change the files they can damage or save them as empty files.

  Any version of Windows supports this type of file access and logging.  You may be able to find a third-party program that can but I highly doubt it.

  I recently bought a PC with windows 8 on it and it works fine. but every once in a while everything freezes except the mouse. I can still move the mouse but cannot click on anything. Explorer freezes, and all my open programs and etc. task bar clock freeze. He then answers for a second or 2 after about 3 minutes and then it comes up saying not responding not on top of one of my windows open program and then my two screens go black and I can't do anything.

  You have disk problems as the CD/DVD is actually 4 discs in 1 case (CD &)
  Burn DVDs and CDs and read DVDs). So it is not unusual for 1 or 2 parts to no function
  while others are doing so correctly.

  Burning at low speed, or by using the master could help. A CD/DVD cleaner
  could help.

  Brand of the CD or DVD drive can also be the problem. Low quality (cheap brands) are always
  issue.

  CD/DVDs have a tolerance + - and your can read/write on the outside edge
  tolerances of the disks. They may be delivered, but it is usually cheaper to replace
  the reader.

  Another possibility is that the cables are loose. Remove ALL power, then check the cables
  both ends. Remove and replace, do not just tight. For laptops, you can often clean the

  I'm on Vista x 64

  I'll start by when I turn on my pc.  (and an example of what is happening)

  Turn on > enter password > windows start > if I leave my computer for a few moments without start all programs, the start bar will freeze after about 5 minutes.

  I am then unable to open all programs, if I try Ctrl + Alt + Delete I try to start the Task Manager, but it's too frozen and I can't terminate any process.

  The only thing I can do is Ctrl + Alt + Del again and shut down my computer.

  (is where it gets more weird)

  If I start my pc > fill in password > open some programs quickly before the start bar freezes (because he ends up by themselves) then the start bar freezes after a short period (1 min) (for example) Firefox/Chrome open, Photoshop, E-mail, etc. open, I am able to use all these programs, unless I have close or minimize the window for them , making it impossible to get again (even if they are still running as a process)

  If I try to Alt + Tab the real Vista Alt + animation tab that opens in the middle of the screen sits there frozen too impossible to close or change the program.

  To add to the strangeness >

  I then press Ctrl + Alt + Delete and click CLOSE in the lower right, when I do this the ' the following documents are still open you want to save before windows shuts etc etc etc...'   So I click Cancel instead of "Force Shut down" and everything will come back to working perfectly!

  I'm confused and have no idea of what I should...

  I'm guessing a repair would be useful, but there may be something im missing

  Firefox master password feature protects your saved passwords. However, even if you are unable to access your saved passwords, you should be able to connect to the site manually (by typing your user name and password). Is that somehow have blocked as well?

  If you have forgotten your master password, you can delete and create a new. However, I think that will also erase all your saved connections and you will save them again. More information on this: reset your master password if you forget.

  If the problem is not with the Firefox built-in password manager but another (add-on, the external program), then steps would be different, but they depend on what you use.

  I'm in the somewhat unusual position of not being able to UN-merge of some projects. I deleted all the references of fusion in the table of contents, however, the indexing and search are still returning results for the old files. In addition, the [MERGE FILES] section of high hydrostatic pressure displays a list of files - and not even the correct list appearing in the table of contents.
  
  I left all the old chm files in the same directory as the parent chm, but I understood that no merger has occurred unless the files have been referenced in the parent TOC.
  
  Am I misunderstand how to merge work in RH6? Does anyone know where HR becomes the list that is being filled in the hhp file (I deleted all the files in this article of high hydrostatic pressure, but he gets questioned.)?

  Well, I finally found the answer.

  In the xpj file, there is a section of xml from 'mergedhelpfiles' tag The list of files here is used to generate the [MERGE FILES] section of the hhp file. This list did not correspond with the list of CHM files in my table of contents.

  So I manually edited the files and now the correct list of files is put in the HHP file.

• My settings somehow changed to BTInternet yahoo and refuses now Thunderbird to send, but can still receive

  Thunderbird has worked perfectly for a long time, but yesterday, the outgoing server suddenly changed of BTInternet to Yahoo, and I'm unable to send more. I haven't touched the settings and I realized a full system scan and malware. Despite changing the settings back, I always get error messages and Thunderbird doesn't send emails.   BT uses Yahoo as email provider.
  Yahoo screwed up (again) and managed to not renew cert for smtp.mail.yahoo.com. There is nothing you can do about it other than to complain to yahoo. Yahoo can only solve the problem. I guess that it will not take too long.

  I just removed all of my photos in my iPhone 6, but storage has always said that I have photos for like 929 MB.

  The funny thing is that when I check iTunes, it says I have 355 photos taking 944MB. But I just removed everything from the phone by going to pc > iPhone > DCIM.

  Anyone know what these "ghost" pictures are and has a solution for the problem?

  I have not synced all photos from my computer to my iPhone and my iCloud and photostream are turned OFF.

  Check first of all, the album recently removed in Photos, which is a novelty after iOS 8.1. If it is empty you may have come across a strange bug where deleted photos are not actually deleted. To check what followed these rather strange instructions:

  • Go to settings/general/Date & time
  • Disable automatically the value
  • Tap the current date/time and roll back about 2 years
  • Click general in the left upper corner
  • Launch the Photos app and go to the recently deleted album (even though it says there are 0 photos)
  • It is full of pictures? If so, remove them
  • Return to settings/general/Date & time and restart the value automatically
