Hi Clementeo,

It seems that the preview files have been damaged. Please follow the steps below.

> Please navigate to the location of your catalog file.

Default location of catalog

In Windows

C:\Users\\Pictures\Lightroom

In Mac

/Users/ [username] / pictures/Lightroom /.

Note: Location and name of the catalog may vary if you have created your own custom location catalog

> Rename Lightroom 5 catalog Previews.lrdata at old. Previews.lrdata catalog Lightroom 5

> Restart Lightroom

Hope this helps

    Original title: error: CreateFile (C:\DOCUME~1\ADMINI~1\LOCALS~1\Temp\~e5d141.tmp

I'm getting this error when opening certain programs to work and now are not. I have studied this particular error and did not find a lot about it or how to fix it.

    I don't think it's a virus.

I don't know what to do, I tried restores system, right click and run as administrator, I did ensure that allows the firewall thing and completely uninstall and reinstall.

If you know a way to solve this problem it would be greatly appreciated.

Delete all files in the temp folder and see if you still receive the error.

  • Certificate error when you use AnyConnect with AD and SecurID auth on a few clients

    Hello

We have a set ASA5510 in place with AnyConnect Essentials, with clients that connect both XP and Win7.

This works as expected on most clients, but on the 3 XP clients, we get a strange error.

They identify installed software and connects successfully the first time.

Each attempt to connect after that, they get a message saying "VPN connection interrupted, the certificate is not found on the smart card or smart card does not exist".

We use certificates for authentication at all (only LDAP and securid).

Try to connect with a good name of user and password known on one of these computers, gives the same error.

Connection with one of the users on a well-known work VPN setup/PC problem works every time.

If remove us the AnyConnect Client of a computer problem, and then it installs again, it works the first time (as before).

Then, all attempts after that gives the error of samme.

The connection profile and the settings for the affected users are identical to all the others who work.

    What could be the problem?

  • How can I make Lightroom correctly handles errors on the function "Update DNG Preview and metadata?

It is more of a bug report, but unfortunately I can't find a good place to put it.

    Steps to reproduce:

-Produce an invalid DNG (a corrupt)

-J' Iintroduce yourself in your catalog (replace valid)

-Select the invalid image (or any group container) in Lightroom

-Select "metadata-> Update DNG previews and metadata.

-Wait until the heat death of the universe

    Actual results:

-At the end of the universe, Lightroom has yet to alert the user and behaves as if the update is running (progress bar is visible but empty)

    Expected results:

-Lightroom displays the same error popup displays for other processes as 'Validate the DNG files', allowing the user to see what pictures are problematic and fix them (by a restore from a backup)

    System:

-Retina MacBook Pro 13 ", end of 2013

    -Mac OS X 10.10.3

I would be grateful for any suggestion

    Thank you very much

In the same folder that your catalog file is a subfolder whose name ends with Previews.LRDATA. Delete this subfolder. Do not remove your catalog file (whose name ends in. LRCAT)

  • I get an error when I upgraded to windows 10.

The start screen appears and then he says: "Lightroom has encountered an error when reading the previous cache and needs to stop smoking" I restarted my computer and lightroom several times.  Any suggestions? TIA!

    Hi elodie

    Greetings!

What version of Lightroom do you use?

You must remove the Hide Preview for your Lightroom Catalog.

It is located in the same folder as the catalog in Lightroom. Preview cache name ends with Previews.LRDATA and should be deleted. Not to be confused with *. LRCAT, which should not be deleted. Here is a picture of what it is named as default LightroomcatalogPreviews.Lrdata.

Location /Pictures/Lightroom on Mac and my Pictures\Lightroom on Windows Pictures/Lightroom on MAC

Delete this folder and restart Lightroom

Not sure - but I can't even find the catalouge for lightroom?   It is not in the folder Program files.   Hmmmmmmmmmm

Of course not. It is data, not program code...

Serahc for a file named "*.lrcat". It's your catalog. Default location

is usually in your "My pictures" folder, I think. (I never use of)

There; I keep my on a completely separate disk).

  • 404 error when the lowest selection (column name) for the metadata 11 g dictionary

    Hi all

I get a 404 error when I select a column name and click the link for dictionary of metadata. I get the 404 because obiee is allowing more 179 characters for the web link. You do not get a 404 error if you click on one of the shorter column names.

When you select the number of offices with commands and then click the metadata dictionary button you get the error 404 below and the web address is truncated causing the 404

    This is the product link

    PRT_Calculated_Facts80cb6aa9/PRC_N_of_Offices_with_Or80cb6cfb.x

If you type the ml at the end, you can see the Web page you want. Also if you click on the area in question and then click the dictionary of metadata and access the column from here the link works.

    otn screen shot2.png

We receive this error in our Dictionary of metadata generated, but I can also reproduce the problem with the sample app, we have placed the dictionary in the folder anlyticsRes.

I just wanted to check to see if someone else has this problem.

    Thanks in advance!

I opened a SR and a bug has already been reported, and the solution is in the latest patch.

    Solution

The fix for the Bug 17449036

is included in the bundle 20124371 Patch (patch bundle 11.1.1.7.150120). See this note for more information:

Note 1488475.1: OBIEE 11 g: required and recommended patches and Patch Sets

There is also a one-off Patch 17449036 on top of previous patch bundle for different platforms.
It is advisable to be in the latest patch bundle. In this case, you prefer to apply exceptional measures, you can do but
It is not for all platforms and all the patches together.
