  I'm a real beginner with Illustrator, and I tried looking for a solution but not sure what to even look for! It's probably a newbie silly question but...

  I am doing a logo that has colored shapes that overlap around a circular pattern. I'm trying to organize each petal so that the left side overlaps the petal on the left. I am using the right click > organize the function to organize before backward, but when I get to the last petal, I can't work out how get the left side of the Green petal overlap a purple on his left, while keeping the other side of the Green under the edge of the yellow one.

  I managed to get the result I like to use form generator tool, but I want to use transparency, so I don't actually want to do this way. This is how I want it to look. Is there a simple way to do everything while keeping the original forms under so I can use the transparency and I have the mixture of colors where they overlap?

  What you could do is created once select all and then use the pathfinder tool, select fracture. It would break forms in separate rooms, and then you can duplicate the Center cuts and place them in the desired order.

  Of course, not as the sorting, the viewer sees is defined by them not by you - given the same USB you can use the finder to display in alphabetical order, last updated order etc. size - files have no command - the viewer defines the order

  You can select Photos and export using a file for sequential access to export name so if the Viewer uses an alpha sort they correspond to your order desired - you can facilitate this, but they must define their queue viewer correctly for them to see it as you wish

  The dialog box that you received when you rename was probably something like...

  "If you change the file name extension may become unusable.

  "Are you sure you want to change it?

  This dialog box if you are unable to keep the file extension that indicates
  the format of the file. For example. JPG and even if rename you it with a.
  the extension you could replace it and the file would be nice.

  If you do not see the file extensions on your file names... you can go
  TO... Button start / Control Panel / folder Options / View tab and Clear
  (uncheck)..., the checkbox "Hide extensions of known file types" / apply / OK.

  If you have reservations about your photos, that it may be interesting to try
  create a copy of the file of the photo to experiment project. So if
  you are not happy with the result rename you can just delete it
  and while maintaining the current photo project folder.

  As for retaining the current file names. Yes, you can keep them if you
  numbers of the photos manually and place the first number. Do not close the
  file once you have manually converted files or they will come back
  for the original order. After that your numbering is done... they will remain in
  order.
