    Hello

I recently bought a Satellite M40X-237 with this carpet * a DVD - RAM drive.
For DVD playback in a home theater system, I usually burn DVDs with booktype set to DVD - ROM, so that the reader can read correctly.
Problem is that the latter does not support this function.
I was wondering if there is some kind of upgrade (pilot or possibly firmware) to make this option available?

I couldn't find any relevant files on the support site.

  • L50-B-137 - USB satellite feeds not Versa Laser Engraver

    Hello

I'm having a problem, you can be able to help.
I just bought Satellite L50-B-137 to replace my previous Tosh, who died a few weeks after 4 years of good and loyal service.

However, the new laptop does not seem to be able to feed the laser engraver that I use with it.
I tested the laser and all software associated with work on another machine and everything works fine, so it must be the laptop that is having problems.

When I plug the laser in one of the laptop USB ports is not recognizing the device and after what this either, a few minutes to a few seconds, it switches off the laser engraver swtching machine off the coast (this is normal on a shift).

I tried to change power-saving features and giving all delays ever but I still have the same problem.

It seems to me that there is not enough power coming through USB to operate the laser.

    Any ideas?

    Thank you
    Acko.

Did you test all USB ports, including two ports placed on the right side?

  • Cannot read CDs engraved on my Cd Player

I snatched the 12 songs from one of my CD and then burned the songs on a blank CD. The CD was finalized and engraved plays on my computer but not on my CD player. On my CD player, I don't see a SINGLE lane instead of the 12 that I can play on my computer, and I see the seconds countdown, but no sound. I have already burned many CDs and they played successfully on my CD player... I change something in Windows Media Player without knowing?

    Hello two summer.

Thank you for posting.  It seems that your CD may have been burned by using direct file format, which does not play in most CD players.  I've included a few steps on how to change the settings for format for discs when burning.  Some readers have difficulty with certain brands of media (ex.  Memorex, maxell, etc..)  I have fixed this issue is slow my burn speed.  If you have a SATA CD/DVD player, most of your CD burning problems can be resolved by slowing down your burning speed.

If your computer is equipped with a CD or DVD burner, you can copy files to a recordable disc. This process is called burning a disc. By default, Windows Burns discs in the active file system format, but you can also choose to burn discs in ISO image format.

    Note

    • You can use Windows to burn a data disc, which is useful for storing, archiving, and sharing files among different computers. If you want to make a disc that will play in a music or video player, you should burn the disc using a video program or music.

Burn a disc by using the live file system format

    1. Insert a writable CD or DVD CD writer or DVD in your computer.

    2. In the dialog box that appears, click on burn the files to a data disc.

    3. In the engraving, a disc dialog box, type a name for this disc, and then click Next.

It can take several minutes for the drive to be formatted in the active file system format by default. When formatting is complete, an empty disc folder opens.

    4. Open the folder that contains the files to burn and then drag the files into the empty disc folder.

You can copy files to the disc folder by dragging them to the disc or to a folder to open disk icon

When you drag files to the disc folder, they are automatically copied to the disk.

Burn a disc using the ISO image format

    1. Choose the size of the ISO image when you need a highly compatible disc that will play in computers with an older version of Windows or in devices such as CD and DVD players that can play video files and music digital. For more information about choosing a disc format, see which should CD or DVD format I use?

    2. Insert a writable CD or DVD CD writer or DVD in your computer.

    3. In the dialog box that appears, click on burn the files to a data disc.

    4. In the engraving, a disc dialog box, type a name for this disc, and then click Show formatting options.

    5. Click on ISO image, and then click Next.

      An empty disc folder opens.

    6. Open the folder that contains the files to burn and then drag the files into the empty disc folder.

    7. In the toolbar, click on burn to disc.

The selected files are copied to the disk. When burning is complete, the drive tray opens and you can remove the drive. You can now use the disc in another computer or media. This type of disc has no need to be closed.

      Tips

      • To burn a disc to ISO image, you will need free space on your hard disk equal to the capacity of the disk. For a typical CD, it is approximately 650 megabytes (MB).

    • If you select the files to burn but decide not to copy the files on disk, you can delete the temporary files to recover hard disk space. To remove the files, open the disc folder, select the files, and in the toolbar, click on delete temporary files.

The fonts in Illustrator are swoop for use with a laser engraving? If not, how do I convert a font for a single path... not an overview of the police?

"I try to avoid cutting each line twice.  This is double the cost.

I hear you. I was there for more than 30 years.

There are very few single line fonts. And most of the people is the property of specific burning software (i.e. the TTF or OTF fonts). Apart from these burning programs, what had to happen is for a foundry of fonts specifically design a single font. And, from what I've heard of these smelters (for the last 30 + years), the market is too small. I'm not saying that they are correct, it's just that it is their perception.

  • Engraving tool could not be found.

    Can't find tool to burn anywhere. I watched videos on youtube and found this, http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j7XNEzpCF1E & list = PLb_ziuDPiUzaUguuQ4ZtbS1f_ZJ1rxURp & index = 1 4

at the beginning where it shows the mouse by clicking the button above the tool feather on the left side, it displays a button with what looks like small boxes inside, and when it is selected in the video it shows three options - dodge, burn, sponge. I see that in my photoshop cc. All I see is a magnifying glass thing that said dodge tool. It does not give me the other three options. I installed it on another friend's computer, and it's the same thing. Where is the tool of engraving?

    Hello

It should be in the same place as in the video.

Have you left click and hold on the Dodge tool icon in the Toolbox until appears the flyout bit?

In addition, Shift + O should scroll three tools in this group.

The reminder for any copy setting has no effect when you burn discs.

It is true that you burn on a computer or use a multi disc duplicator burning discs.

Only replication (pressing) can add copy protection.

You need the details of the / file format you need to produce company that will make the replication for you. Once these had to be delivered to the House of replication on a special adhesive tape. Now there are other options.
