  I need to write an article to make sure that there is no overlap in the dates of specific products. The operation of this project is that there is a benefit plan, with advantage line items entered in this plan. The rules must confirm that there is no corresponding benefit whose dates overlap. It's simple if there were only two to compare, but it may be more of the same service in a benefit plan.
  
  I must confirm that the date of beginning or end of any benefit is not in the date range start and end for another corresponding advantage.
  
  What is the best way to do it? Time-base reasoning was recommended and I'm looking into this idea, but I'm not sure it's the best way.
  
  I would appreciate an answer as soon as POSSIBLE because I'm working on a CEP to show tomorrow.

  Try something along these lines:

  There are plans that overlap if
  InstanceCountIf (plans, the plan is in effect) > 1

  the plan is in force if
  TemporalOnOrAfter (the start date) and
  TemporalOnOrBefore (the end date of the plan)

  The second rule creates a temporal Boolean attribute is true, whenever a specific benefits plan is in effect. The first rule counts how many plans is in effect at any given time, and it becomes real when there is more than one into effect.
