enter html 5 video in a site of Muse.

musevid.pngEveryone there is time to give me a step by step procedure to get html 5 video to play on my site of Muse. I changed Muse as a last resort, as it was supposed to be for non coders!

I have the video to play in four browsers beautifully in Dreamweaver that is advertised a wysiwyg is not either. Unfortunately, IE 8, it pulled the color on the right side of the footer to the top of the page to which I took the advice of Nancy O who told me about the new version of Muse. I pasted the code in the window insert html and place video in the site file and exported files in html format. No video playing in the browser preview. Could someone likable explain in simple language the procedure. Thank you

  • Firefox 13.0.1, Flash 11.3.300.262, no video for some sites

Once firefox and flash set to upgrade to the latest versions, I found that I have no video for some sites in flash. YouTube works great but aren't sites like metacafe.com .

I tried to roll back to firefox 13.0.0. I tried aso back flash 11.2 and 10.3 without result. I also tried to disable protected mode for flash, still no video. I did a complete reinstall of firefox (including deleting my profile data) and flash, but it still doesn't work.

The only time where I get video is when I restart firefox in safe mode. However, when I reboot in normal mode with all the addons disabled I get no video. I have not install realplayer.

Anyone got any ideas as to what I could try that I have not already?

    Hello joebat,

It seems that some of your plugins (Shockwave Flash 10.1 r102) might be buggy or obsolete. To check for updates, please visit the plugincheck page. If this does not resolve the problem, try to start Firefox with the disabled modules and see if it helps at all. If so, delete the Shockwave Flash plugin and maybe reinstall or uninstall Firefox and do a new clean install.
If that is not yet solved the problem, try the following troubleshooting steps: http://helpx.adobe.com/flash-player/kb/installation-problems-flash-player-mac.html

Thank you for your patience and please let me know how it goes.

  • I noticed after the passage of IE9 to Firefox a few videos on the site won't play. How does it evolve?

Sometimes, I want to watch videos. Little game and some do not in Firefox. When a message came on the screen, it says something like "I'm sorry, but the video will not play... you want to download the plugin?". "." Because I'm very catious everything I download, I am not confident to download a plugin. Does anyone know what I need for Firefox play all videos on the site?

I add this to my original question:
I see that quick-time is a plugin available... Is this soething that works?

    Thank you

You must install the version of Adobe Flash Plugin for Firefox.

IE uses ActiveX of Flash version that is not compatible with Firefox. And Google Chrome browser still uses another version of Flash, code name Pepper.Flash is the only program I've seen which requires a separate download and installation for different browsers. Waiting patiently until it takes more Flash to view video presentations; the first few nails are already in the "coffin".

Just visit the download Adobe Flash - http://get.adobe.com/flashplayer/ - page using Firefox and Adobe will provide the right version for Firefox.

  • Firefox can not play videos in the site

Firefox is unable to view the videos on this site http://socialcam.com/ while others can browser (opera chrome 22, 33, that is to say 11).
I tried to restart with add - to disable, but no help.

Firefox uses the Flash Player, or maybe HTML5 Media Player?

You see the Shockwave Flash plugin context menu if you right-click?

If Flash is not used you can try to disable the HTML5 Media Player by setting these false prefs on the topic: config page.

    • Media.DirectShow.Enabled
    • Media.Windows - Media - foundation.enabled
  • Audio but no video on many sites

    For example:
    http://m.Joystiq.com/2014/02/16/plants-vs-zombies-garden-warfare-live-action-trailer-brings-the/?NCID=txtlnkusaolp00000598

There is a MP4 video on the site, which plays well in Chrome and Android browser. In Firefox, I get to see the preview with the gray on 'play' symbol image, but once I hit all that I get is a black screen with audio.

Most of the posts I've seen around this type of error is talking about Flash plugin installs, etc. As far as I KNOW, mp4 is not flash. I disabled all my Add-ons.

    I'm on a HTC One, 4.4.2 Android.

    Any suggestions?

  • Linux_64, Youtube: HTML 5 videos are good sound black and buttons work perfectly

    Hello

    I have a Firefox update on a 64-bit GNU/Linux also updated (it's always PCLinuxOS).

Flash videos not work well enough (quite slow, but I guess that's normal), but I have a problem with HTML 5 video on youtube (haven't tried others): the buttons display correctly and are functional, the sound of the video is rendered without problems. But there is no video, all I get is a black image.
When I right click on "Stats for nerds", I see:

    Dimensions: 640 x 360
    Resolution: 0x0
    Stream type: https
    MIME Type: video/mp4; codecs = "avc1.42001E, mp4a.40.2".

All 'frames decoded', 'video bytes decoded', etc fields are empty (""-").

I tried to start firefox in safe mode, disabling hardware acceleration (which in any case does not work under linux, this?), empty the cache, none of this worked...

    What do you think?

You can try the media.gstreamer.enabled pref set to false to see if does send the multimedia file in a different format where you don't have the right codec to play the file mp4 from YouTube.

You can open the topic: config page via the address bar.

  • Videos from BBC site Web can be read in Firefox

Page Web of BBC loads without problems, but when you click on the link to play the video, the screen remains black. For all the videos they post on their news site. Have no problems with playing videos on other sites, commercial or news.

Thank you fancylive and dumdidadida. Problem solved. Flash 11 seems to be the solution. I went through the update of Mozilla plug-ins page and Add ons, and I've updated everything that wasn't. Some versions of Java 32 and 64-bit (not sure if they are related or not) that seem to have popped all my automatic downloads.

Before that I only had to type "IMDb" and press enter and put me to the site immediately, but now all these links come first.

Or I used to type 'youtube' and after knocking entered, I was took directly to the homepage of youtube.

What can I do to make it like it was before, so it takes me directly to the site? Second, my Norton passwords and user names for all sites that have been stored in my 'Norton safe"does not appear in the browser. This will be available soon?

Try to define your topic: config entries for:

    • Keyword.Enabled - > true
    • Browser.Fixup.Alternate.Enabled-> true
    • Browser.Fixup.Alternate.prefix-> www.
    • Browser.Fixup.Alternate.suffix-> .com

and then restart your browser and try again supernatural imdb.

You must use 'supernatural imdb' rather than "supernatural imdb" because you want the domain before the page for research work best.
