Entering information in combined PDF file

I combined several individual identicall s PDF in a single large PDF. The original PDF is a single page, but what I need is a PDF file containing multiple copies of the same shape. This is why I have a big PDF that contains the same shape copied several times. When I try to enter information in one of the pages it automatically inserts the same information in the same area on all pages that have been combined. Is it possible to unlock it? I need to be able to enter different information on different pages.

The simple rule of Acroforms is: If two fields with the same name, they have the same value. So, if you copy several times they are really the SAME FORM in all directions. If you want the forms which resemble, but are actually different shapes, you must change all the domain names - and JavaScript etc.

I have Adobe export in PDF format. Can I combine PDF files with that?

Unfortunately, no. ExportPDF is just to create Word (or Excel) documents of existing PDF files. To combine several PDF files into one, you must either Pack PDF or Acrobat DC.

  • Adobe Acrobat Pro DC crashes when I combine PDF files

I recently installed Adobe Acrobat Pro DC on my computer and everytime I try to combine PDF files it says that Adobe has stopped working and crashes. I uninstalled and reinstalled, I did all the updates of windows, I ran the cleaning of Adobe Acrobat tool and all Adobe updates are up-to-date. This is extremely annoying and it really bothers my work, I constantly need to combine PDFs (sometimes thousands of pages). This was never a problem in the past until about 2 weeks ago. I appreciate any help!

    Workaround solution:

My document has 122 pages in .pdf format

I exported the PDF crashing to MS Word in Acrobat Pro DC.

Exported .doc in Word for Mac 2016

Saved .doc exported to PDF in Word or Mac 2016

PDF open in Acrobat Pro ms.

White added the page without the document / application to crash.

  • I want to create a combined pdf file so I can print 4 items per page to save on printing. Do I need a plugin for that?

I want to create a combined pdf file so I can print 4 items per page to save on printing. It's something my printer guy did to save me from printing. However, I just bought a printer xp Epsom 200 advertised on the box that it was a feature. It turns out that it is a feature of adobe. I'm confused, why he has been announced. In any case, I have Adobe suite with PSCS5 hace. How can I do this?

In the dialog box print of Acrobat and the free reader, you can select Multiple option to print multiple pages on a single physical page.

If you have a file with these pages you will need to use Acrobat for that. You can use the Adobe PDF printer (on a Windows machine, at least) to generate a new PDF with several pages of the former on each page.

  • Acrobat online will allow me to combine pdf files?

He says explicitly in the text of presentation sales it will combine files, only that he will edit the etc.  Here is a collection of PDFs from different sources.  My old Acrobat 6.0 will work with some files but will can not see scanned pdf document from HP.  .  Before investing, I need to make sure that it will work.

    Hi Dean,

Yes Acrobat has the compatibility to combine pdf files.

You can download the fully functional Acrobat 11 Pro (download Acrobat products |) Standard, Pro | XI, X) and use it for 30 days and check if it fits your requirement and your purchase accordingly.

By 'Acrobat online', I think you talk to the PDF package where we create pdf, pdf export, etc. He also has the ability to combine files, but there is no free trial to use.

  • Combine PDF Files Toolbar Button/shortcut - Windows 7

Hello is possible to add a button to the toolbar in the windows folder (see photo below) or a keyboard shortcut to quickly combine pdf files without going through a right click and select the option? I would save a step because I do quite often. Thank you!

    links_bar_folder.gif

You must modify the Windows registry in several ways to add this feature.  You can see this place on the web on the how-to part.  There are also some third-party utilities supposed to make it easier to do it too.

  • Is there a maximum file size limit when combining pdf files

I try to combine files 8 created PDF files with I Explore using Acrobat Standard XI, the process is finished but when opening the file, that not all of the 8 individual files were combined only the first two have been combined, process shows the eight being read and combined.

I can open and view each of the 8 original individual files and read the content without any problems, the biggest of the eight files is 15 559 kb and the smallest is 9 435 Ko

If anyone can help that would be most appreciated

    Hi Tayls450,

It should not happen because there is no maximum file size limit when combining PDF files.

Please let me know if there is some password protected PDF files also?

Also, I suggest you to choose the "Repair the Installation of Acrobat" option in the Help menu.

    Kind regards

  • To combine PDF files, how can I keep security to prohibit printing and text entry?

To combine PDF files, how can I keep security to prohibit printing and text entry? In Windows Explorer, I highlight the individual PDF files, right click and choose "combine with Adobe Acrobat. I'm done and get my single file with all the PDF pages included, but nowhere I can't find where them prohibit printing of the any PDF combined or refusing to be seized of the text... as I'm able to do when I export to PDF from InDesign.

It's really a question of Acrobat, but in any case the answer is you open the file in Acrobat and go to properties (Ctrl + D), and then click the Security tab.

  • Why information from individual PDF files that were created by using the form to fill out is changing when I try to combine the files?

I have several pdf documents created using a form to fill out.  When I try to create a combined PDF information either is removed from all pages after the first page or all the pages after the fact look page 1 as duplicate page 1.  what I am doing wrong?

The problem is that these files have fields with the same name in them, thus

When you merge them they become copies of each other and of all their

    the values are the same.

To avoid it you must either rename the fields before you merge the files

or flatten, converting them to static content.

  • Loss of information when merging PDF files.

When combine us PDF files into single documents we lose the information on our forms if there is 'editable' boxes to present.  Unless each box is called something different.  However, we use the same shape more than once, and then combine them into a single document later (do you combined daily logs once the project is completed).  We used the PDF portfolio, however, our customers do not understand how to open them or that they do not like having to download Adobe IX.

You must flatten the files (or rename fields) before their merger to avoid this problem, as the fields with the same name will automatically have the same value.
