environment variable for conversion to UTF8 to AL32UTF8
I do updates from level schema taking 4 patterns of 9.2.0.7 10.2.0.4 in another server.the source was:
NLS_CHARACTERSET
UTF8
Character set
NLS_NCHAR_CHARACTERSET
AL16UTF16
NCHAR character set
The target is the following:
NLS_CHARACTERSET
AL32UTF8
Character set
NLS_NCHAR_CHARACTERSET
AL16UTF16
NCHAR character set
What would be the environment variable set before the export or import? all of the suggestions. Thank you.
not need to define all the variables that you are importing to UTF8 AL32UTF8 which is superset of UTF8 means that it covers all the characters in UTF8.
Import will give any error concerning characterset.
Kind regards
Chirag

Setting up the Environment Variables for the unit
Hello
I'm trying the license of the unit on an internet connection that requires a proxy. The unit for some reason any he manages really evil and tries to communicate without using the proxy server. I've been looking around and can't seem to find a clear answer on how to do it. Unity forums suggest to use Environment Variables, but only to give me a method (the ~ /.) MacOSX/environment.plist method) for (what they claim is Yosemite) but seems to be the Lion of the mountains or earlier as far as I can tell.
What I have to use Environment Variables or is there another way to do it?
It must also be that variables apply globally to all users on the computer not only la I would be connected at this time.

What would the results be for ME and my computer by installing Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit (drive) after having to re - install my 32-bit Version of Windows 7 Home Edition Premium, I bought some time ago?
Brad
Check the user accounts in the Control Panel-user accounts and family safety-manage accounts
It may be that the user is called SYSTEM for some reason any. You can change the account name but the path of the user will remain the same.
Example: change the SYSTEM to Brad, the path to the user of Brad will still be c:\users\SYSTEM
To check if your processor is 32 bit or 64 bit
Open the Control Panel
Select system and security
Select System
In the System section it check the line System Type
That should tell whether the operating system is 32 or 64 bits and if the processor is 32 bit or 64 bit.

Settings of Environment Variables for db and eom12c
Hello
I'm sorry to ask such a simple question but I can't seem to
Nowhere is this.I installed the database (11.2.0.4) and OEM12C (12.1.0.4) on the
same server (windows 2012) and I would like to know what it is recommendedsettings of environment variables would be for the database and eom1212c?
Thank you!
Kathie
This isn't a rare question at all, especially with the introduction of EM12c, where new framework benefits from new alias in the profile or (for Windows environments) variables settings approx.
Set up your:
ORACLE_HOME for the database at home, i.e. /u01/app/oracle//product/11.2.0/dbhome_1
ORACLE_SID =
Then set up a few aliases to facilitate management:
OMS_HOME = / u01/app/oracle/Middleware<--EM>--EM>
EMDIAG_HOME = / u01/app/oracle/repvfy<--diagnostics home="" if="" you="">--diagnostics>
AGENT_HOME = / u01/app / /officer of/core/12.1.0.4.0<--agent>--agent>
JAVA_HOME = / usr/java/bing/jre7<--java home="" which="" comes="" in="" handy="" for="" diagnostics="" and="">--java>
Your values for each of them will be probably different for the path of the beginning, but you should get the idea pretty quickly.
Let me know if you need anything else, be it

If the Environment Variable in Vista
How to change the Environment Variable in Vista? ... I could do with XP using Control Panel > performance and Maintenance, but could not find the area revealing in Vista.
Hello
When you see something surrounded of % this means there is a system environment Variable
together who will take the place of it. SystemRoot where Windows so for most, it will be
C:\Windows however if Windows is on drive D: it would be usually be D:\Windows.Start - type in the search box-> explorer.exe SystemRoot
Enter and see where it leads you.
Another is %UserProfile%, which is the currently logged-on user
Start - type in the search box-> explorer.exe %USERPROFILE%
Enter and see where it leads you.
With the help of people and other environment variables, commands can be written so that they will apply no.
matter where Windows to installed or that the user connects (for the above examples).To view the current system Environment Variables:
Start - type in the search-> CMD box find top - make a right click on - RUN AS ADMIN
When the COMMAND PROMPT opens it will look something like
C:\Windows\System32 >
Type SET and press on enter and you will see the present commands.
to see the command SET type in ALL of the structure? and press on enter – the space between T and.

Win 7 guest does not search the environment variable PATH for executable
Win 7 Home Premium - cmd.exe - (high - run as administrator)
Command prompt can't find the executable files that are clearly in the PATH variable
For example, the netstat.exe program is located in the system32 folder, but when I type in the command window, it says:
'netstat.exe' is not recognized as an internal or external command
operable program or batch file.
But when I give it full, c:\windows\system32\netstat.exe path, the command runs correctly.
Here is the PATH variable that returns the command window:
Path=%SystemRoot%\System32;%SystemRoot%;%SystemRoot%\System32\Wbem;%SystemRoot%\
System32\WindowsPowerShell\v1.0\; C:\Program Files\QuickTime\QTSystem\; C:\Program
Common Files Files\GTK\2.0\binYou can clearly see that %SystemRoot%\system32 is there, and Yes, SystemRoot is c:\windows
That is the only .exe this command prompt does not open properly?
Have you tried with another user account? Any change?
Could be malware (?)

How to get the active directory and environment variables
Hello
1 - is there a global variable to get the real (project, where is ORD and DSQ files) directory?
2.-y there a way to get the directory of the user as the reading of the operating system environment variables?
Thanks in advance.
PD: I use Dasylab12
Yes, use ropes of system
For example, ${DATA_FOLDER}.
For a list, the simplest method is to right click and select global chains. The lower half of the dialog box lists the system strings, including the date, time, name of the worksheet, with or without a path, the DEFAULT folders for the spreadsheet, data, other, black box, etc.

"Call the executable" allows the environment variable "path"?
Hello
It seems that when you use the step type "call the executable" you need to enter the absolute path of the executable, or the absolute working directory, in the definition of "call settings" step. I seem not to be able to put in a *.exe by himself in the path and have the command is found, even if I can't enter this same command on the command line (windows 7). Is it possible to configure this step to use the windows ' path' environment variable to search for the executable?
David J.
You can do the following:
(1) specify cmd.exe for the file path.
(2) specify "/c yourexe.exe" for the argument expression
This will launch a command window and tell it to run your application with the simple file name.
The reason why you can't put just yourexe.exe in the path of file is that TestStand made its own resolution of file path that is different from what the window command. It uses its directories to search to resolve relative paths. If you do not have to specify an absolute path for the file path parameter, but it must be compared to a TestStand search directory or the current sequence file.
Hope this helps,

How the PATH environment variable longer?
Hello
I use Windows Vista Business. Lately, I just installed the beta of Intel Parallel Studio and found that my path variable ran out of space. Internet research concluded that there cannot be more than 1024?It is too little for me to welcome all directories program that I installed, and thus some programs no longer work correctly.I wonder if there-(a) is a way I can expand the size of the Path system variable?(b) add another variable which can take some Path variable values so that I do not violate the limitation of 1024.Thanks in advance!AHello, Gutsingh
The PATH environment variable has a fixed limit of 1023 characters can be used. It doesn't seem to be a way to extend this. Other environment variables have a higher limit, which can be useful.
Let us know if that helps.
