PCI\VEN_14E4 & DEV_4353 & CC_0280

Unknown device:
ACPI\HPQ0004

Advice me please how can I find and install the correct drivers.

Hello:

Try the quicklaunch for the ACPI0004 software:

http://h10025.www1.HP.com/ewfrf/WC/softwareDownloadIndex?softwareitem=ob-95237-1&LC=en&DLC=en&CC=US&OS=4063&Product=4313929&sw_lang=

You are away from your wireless adapter: Broadcom 4313:

If the quicklaunch EHF software do not get rid of ACPI, try the HP Protectsmart driver:

My Mute button and the wireless button disappeared. They are neither orange nor blue, they are not highlighted.

I did my Lalonde normal and regular cleaning. With the help of the manual I disasembled the phone until I could access the fan/heatsink and clean it with air preasured. After reassembling the laptop, I discovered that the two buttons are not appearing on the cover of the switch. I thought that I must have failed to plug something properly, but after checking twice, I am sure that everything is as it should be. The wireless card works perfectly, so are the speakers. The computer turns on automatically (I'm actually hit him), wifi works perfectly (well, I'm on it) scrolling volume works ok, so media buttons. But everything I try, I cannot get the Mute and buttons wireless to work once more.

I upgraded my Equium L40 to Windows 7 and now, wireless equipment and F8 function switch switch the WLAN on and outside. It is permanently.

Also, even if it is enabled in the Windows 7 power options, close the lid won't be thecomputer to sleep. If I close it turns off the screen but doen't make Windows 7 options.

When I upgraded to Windows 7, I chose the option to do as a new installation and therefore lost my Vista installation.

I have download all the drivers for Windows 7 on the Toshiba site, even if there were not many.

Is there something else I need to do for the WLAN switch and cover works with Windows 7? Any help gratefully received.

  • Unknown device on network adapter between the laptop and the wireless router

I am running windows 7 64 bit on a laptop computer connected wireless to the router and internet.  The router is Linksys WRT160N connected to the internet.  The map of the network, there is a question mark device unknown between the laptop and the router.  However, I still have access to the internet.  In terms of network, if I hover over the laptop, it does not show an IP address.  It only shows the name of the computer and its MAC address.  Any help would be appreciated.

Solved my problem.  I checked the button of the IPv6 protocol in the properties of a network connection on the laptop, and now I can see it's the IP address and the unknown device has been replaced by a switch and hub which is part of the router.   I do not uncheck the button IPV4.  I'm guessing that it is a bug in Windows 7 that you need to cut of ipV6 Protocol when you have a Win XP computer on the network if you want to see a map of own network.  As I said before, everything worked before, so this seems to be a cosmetic fix only.  I see that my shared files on the XP computer appear faster after a reboot.

  • F11 key does not not in windows 7 - have the keyboard and the wireless mouse

I had problems with my computer HP not recognize my second USB (:) drive J.  I called HP and the last thing said the tech support person had to restart and use the F11 key as soon as POSSIBLE.  I tried for 90 minutes, get the f11 key to work with absolutely no luck.  What is the wireless component which is too slow and I need a wired mouse and keyboard to "beat the clock"?  My f11 key invalid?

There is practically no time to go into the system diagnostics no matter how long my fingers type.

Well, honestly I don't know why he asked you to press F11, is perhaps just a key that will work for HP computers.

    Most computer manufacturers use generally:
-F2 to access the BIOS Setup
-F10 - F8 to access the list of available boot devices. Example CD, hard drive, USB etc.
-F8 is for menu of boot loader Windows, where you can choose to start mode without failure, mode safe mode with networking, safe mode with command prompt... etc.
-Check if you have a KEY named F-Lock on your keyboard.
-During the reboot, press Caps Lock funct - and then try pressing F11.
Sometimes this worked for me, in my case, I have a MS ergonomic keyboard which contains an F-Lock to enable and disable F keys.
I hope that this help, my apologies for not having more information.

Should I use best practices in default installation of MS Office and other programs path because my company uses the directory default for MS Office installation and other programs? The default path points or C:\Program Files (x 86) C:\Program but my company created a new folder directory outside the Program Files directories for several executable programs. Let me know that my company should follow best practices to avoid the mess of the operating system?

Typically, you leave the default installation path is.

Show you the paths are for 64 bit & 32 bit programs, more often that it is senseless to do otherwise.

And if you talk to a separate partition/drive programs usually function properly, or not at all, if installed on other than the partition Win

  • Presario R3000 (R3200?) and the wireless USB mouse

I have a Presario R3000 (or, perhaps, R3200) bought at Office Depot ages ago...

Also, for centuries, I used a mouse Microsoft usb/wireless.  This mouse is connected through a hub USB of TrendNet.

Suddenly, a few days ago the mouse is not responding.

I tried to uninstall/reinstall the drivers, peripheral and even tried a BIOS flash, nothing helps.

    Here's what's weird:

    (1) a WIRED USB mouse will work, without any problem, in the same usb ports that the Wireless does NOT work in (I try all 3 ports of the laptop and those on the hub, in all of this).

    (2) the mouse (and the replacement, I bought, thinking that my mouse is dead) appear correctly in Device Manager - they just do not respond to the movement.

What is a USB problem?  A power USB problem?  A Windows XP (pro, R2) problem?  A motherboard problem?

I have no idea where to continue troubleshooting...

    Thank you

    EM

It may be a stupid question but... you did not put fresh batteries in the mouse, have you tried new batteries?

    Hello

Firmware update should only be done if you notice problems with the ODD (CD/DVD drive)
In addition the laptop was equipped with various drives and firmware on the Toshiba page seems to be designed only for some some sides.
So if the laptop uses other ODD then the update of the firmware would not be supported.
See more information on the driver page for some details on the update firmware and what are the chances are supported!

I m not very well why the t supervisor password utility could not be installed, but I think that the message: bad series appears that if you tried to install a tool that was not designed for this model of laptop or the operating system.

The L300-1AQ seems to belong to the series PSLB8E and you must ensure that you have chosen the right model on the driver page.

PS: don't forget that the VAP has been installed everything first!

What you say makes no sense and I question the validity of these comments.  Update to Windows 8.1 will do more good than harm.  Very few people who have updated have experienced problems, so comments to keep your receipt no logic.

Here's something you can do.  Download Macrium reflect free and create a hard disk image on an external hard drive, don't forget to create the rescue disk.  Once done, update your system to 8.1.  If you have any problems, then you will be OK.  If it doesn't work or you have problems you can restore the backup of the image on your system that will put the computer to Windows 8 with no ill effects.  An image backup of your system from time to time is the best thing you can do.  You will have no problems with the help of recovery disks, reinstalling programs and data.  Many people use this method and have no regrets.

Don't be afraid of it, it is a very useful tool.
