Please tell me from the beginning on this topic...

If this screen does not have a sensor to detect the pens or touch, you need to go buy a new touchscreen compatible.

But if it worked before, then you probably have a driver installed.  Go to the website of the company that builds your screen, and search for downloads.

  • HP TouchSmart IQ540uk touchscreen windows 7

    Hello

I have HP TouchSmart IQ540uk, Windows 7 64-bit operating system and I cannot calibrate touch screen. Do I need a driver or it should work after installing Windows 7. I tried Windows calibration (Tablet PC settings and calibrate) but when I touch the first cross I don't hear beep, when I touch in the form of cross beeps. The same story with NextWindows (The Windows 7 Touch Screen (ver 1.3.4.1) pilot) and the NextWindow Touch + application Version 2.9 on some calibration points is no beeps on the other is ok, never beeps on the first point of calibration, second is good, but a 3rd don't beep again. I don't know I have bad screen or I need the software and additional drivers?

YES, it IS a touch screen!

Hi DCwell1977, while they inspected the drivers of this model, it seems that this unit doesn't have drivers available for Windows 8.1. You can also visit this link and check the compatibility of this model to Windows 8.1. It's not necessarily you cannot upgrade to Windows 8.1, but we cannot guarantee that all the features of this unit will work.

  • Touchscreen driver update problem

So, I have a HP tm2t touchscreen, Windows 7. Everything works fine, except for the button; is not serious if I try to touch it with your finger or the stylus, it wouldn't recognize it. I tried all the stuff mentioned in other articles, still does not not + if I want to update the driver (Control Panel-> hardware and sound-> Pen Tablet properties-> download driver update), a windows pops up saying "windows cannot find ' @C:\Program c:." Make sure you typed the name correctly and then try again."

For a few days, whenever I open the VLC Player, he'd say the operation has failed, and I should update the driver of the touch screen. However, everything would work ok if I was just opening it again. Then, Windows did some updates and option of touch screen of the laptop works with no possibility to update its drivers.

No changes were made to the system until the problems.

    Don't know what to do?

I'm not sure of the right reason why it would not properly work in a note only.

Now that the digitizer has started working in Word 2010, I suggest try reinstall Office 2010 to solve the problem with a single note.

  • Using the touch screen and the touch pad at the same time on Windows 8

How can I use my touchpad and my touchscreen Windows 8? I use Acer and it seems that whenever I get I have TO use the touch screen and my cursor is non-existent. I'm sure there will be a setting I can change to be able to use both at the same time, but so far I can't find answers online or elsewhere.

    Help, please!

    Hello green,

Thanks for posting your question on the Microsoft community.

I would like to know some information about the problem so that we can help you better.

What is the model number of your PC Acer laptop?

Thank you for your query details.

I also like the fact that you want to use the touch screen and press the key at the same time.

Unfortunately, it is not possible. However, you can use touchpad of precision which uses a variety of touch gestures to get around your computer. Touchpad different gestures are provided in this article.
    Reference:
With the help of a precision touchpad
    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows-8/touchpad

You can also make changes to its settings to adjust the duration that your touchpad stays off as you type so that you can avoid accidentally tapping the touchpad with your thumb and move the cursor.

    I hope this information helps.

Please let us know if you need more help.

    Thank you

  • glass screen touch tx2510au

I work with a Pavilion TX2510au and touchscreen window was broken so the owner took somewhere and they began the withdrawal of the broken touch screen. When they were not able to correct the situation, what he brought to the original touchscreen glass and me was missing. Is there a simple way to find out what version of this laptop and digitizer uses?

    Thank you

  • What MacBook Pro to get?

I'll trade my Sony Vaio Fit 2011 (touchscreen, windows 10, 12 GB of RAM, 1 TB HDD, third generation i7) to a MacBook Pro, and I had two choices. A MacBook Pro from early 2013 with 8 GB of RAM and 256 GB SSD or a MacBook Pro of end of 2013 with 4 GB of RAM and 128 GB SSD. Which one do you recommend me to get? It will be my first Mac and I'm a little excited, I study electrical engineering and I need to use simulation of circuit and planning programs to install 10 Windows with Boot Camp. Just have a few days to decide. Thank you very much.

No doubt the beginning 2013 with 8 GB of RAM and a 256 GB SSD.

You don't want anything less than 8 GB of RAM.   The RAM is the only selling point, you will not be able to upgrade.

The storage can be user upgraded to this model of the retina, but will break your warranty 1 year.

    • Have you installed a new software or hardware on your computer recently?
    • Has your computer has completed its important Windows updates?

  • Using Lenovo C540 all-in-one as a second screen

I recently bought two computers, a laptop Asus desktop Lenovo C540 all-in-One touchscreen, Windows 8 and Windows touch, 8.

The issue I'm facing is to attempt to use the Lenovo as the 2nd screen to the laptop. Is this possible with an all-in-one device since it is not a stand-alone monitor? If so, how would I go on this subject?

I tried just to plug in an HDMI cable between the two and go in the options screen 2, but which have resulted in nothing.

    Hi Bushy808,

Welcome to the Community Forums of Lenovo!

I checked the C540 details and the HDMI on the back is only for HDMI output

The unit is has a HDMI to display an external device on its screen.

    Best regards
