Envy 14: wireless driver not working, help!

Hello world

I own an Envy 14 Beats edition, reference is 14-1114ef, and my serial number is XE652EA.

I'll try to find drivers for wifi and bluetooth, as I am French, I found this page:

http://h10025.www1.HP.com/ewfrf/wc/softwareCategory?OS=4063&LC=FR&CC=FR&DLC=FR&sw_lang=&product=4330...

I downloaded the 2 packets of Intel and Broadcom one:

-packages intel doesn't find any wireless adapter and an end.

-Ditto for bluetooth package.

This PC has already run Ubuntu Linux, I've never used a Bluetooth, WiFi worked perfectly.

So, any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hello:

This is the driver you need for the Broadcom 43224AG 802.11a/b/g/draft-n Wi - Fi adapter:

  • Satellite Pro 6100 Wireless does not work after restoring from HARD drive

After that restore disks for installing a new HD and use and to update XP sp2, the Wireless does not work and if the card is installed XP hangs then works in fits and starts. If the card not in place, not bad at all.

Booting from a Linux CD, the card works perfectly! I assume that the driver is the problem. The wireless card is the original, an Agere MPC13A-20/R, with Toshiba p/n PA317U-1MPC.

I have found some drivers Agere, but am not sure

    (1) if they are correct
    (2) how to install since the machine works in a way limited with the card in place.

    Any advice?

    Hello

I checked the page of the pilot and the only available for Windows XP WLan driver is the driver of v.1.11.108 Agere.

    (1) just try to install this driver. If the driver is not correct or is not compatible, then windows will not install the driver and you will receive a notification. You just have to try

    (2) generally you may reinstall the driver from the Device Manager. Open network controller tree, and then you can reinstall the driver.

But this is only possible if the windows started successfully

PS: Have you checked the information of Microsoft Windows XP SP2 update on the page of the Toshiba driver.
I discovered that you need to update several utilities if you have installed SP2 on this laptop.

    Hello

You should try to remove the devices that they are marked with a yellow exclamation point. Start Notepad, and then install the latest drivers from the Toshiba site.

If the virus has destroyed an important system files that it s is no longer possible to install a driver and you need to reinstall Windows using the Toshiba recovery disc.

Did you create the Toshiba Recovery disk? You can do this with the Toshiba recovery disc creator, which is preinstalled on your laptop. Maybe you are able to do this at the moment.
In addition, you reinstall Windows using the recovery of HARD drive option. So go to the advanced boot menu and select Repair my computer. Some Windows files will be loaded and then you can choose the Toshiba Recovery option and follow the instructions on the screen.

If you can t create the recovery disk, you must order a new Toshiba directly:

  • I have re-installed Windows Vista on my laptop (Dell Inspiron 1525) and now my wireless does not work.

Hi, I have re-installed Windows Vista on my laptop (dell insparon) 1525 and now my wireless does not work. ive tried re installing driver, but it says operating system not supported. I used the disc that came with the computer of the re install and I even tried to install service pack 1. .

original title: Wireless problems after install.

I just tried both, the dell is one that says OS not supported"and the intel, it went very well, but my 'network controller' still have a yellow top thing in Device Manager. and I always wireless. any other ideas? Thank you for the help

Question...  You have whatever it is listed in the "Network adapters" section of "Device Manager" now?

While ensuring that the exclamation point is not for your wired network device (plausible) or bluetooth (plausible) and you just need to configure your wireless network to connect to * your * wireless network now.

You may have to contact Dell to see why none of their drivers receive your wireless device works on the original operating system, what they included.  This could be a hardware problem PURE.

  • Wireless does not work on DV5000

My wireless card is working properly, however, I get the error statement: "cannot find the certificate to connect to the network."   Everything was going fine until I had a crash.  After the system recovery, the wireless did not work.  I have re-installed the driver, but that did not help.  Any Suggestions?

    Router: D-Link Dir 615

Computer: HP Pavilion dv5000 running XP

    Wireless card: Intel Pro 3945ABG

    http://www.GeeksToGo.com/forum/topic/102576-Windows-was-unable-to-find-a-certificate/

This error message may appear if you use authentication IEEE 802. 1 x, but are not actually in a 802. 1 x environment (EAP).

Please goto Start --> programs --> Accessories --> Communications --> network connections --> right-click on your connection and select Properties --> click on the authentication tab--> disable / uncheck the option authentication IEEE 802. 1 x for this network. Now try to connect to your wireless network; are you able to you? (Note: you may have to restart the computer.)

    Hello

I just got a Satelite L505-13N and upgrade to Win 7 Professional. The Wireless does not work. It seems that the driver is not yet installed.
FN + F8, that should give me the option to turn on/off Wireless does nothing and the wireless on the laptop light is lit (orange color).

    What should I do?

  • R500 - wireless driver not found

    Hello

Recently, I ran the Thinkpad rescue and recovery to refresh my laptop and start with a new Windows XP.

I also ran through system update and got all the latest drivers and software updates.

As a result, I noticed that my wireless is not working and is not even detected. To do this, I downloaded all the drivers LAN wireless available following for ThinkPad R500 - 2732 - 6EG - Windows XP Professional:

    1. Intel Wireless LAN (bg, abg, abgn) for Windows XP - ThinkPad - v15.03.2000
    2. ThinkPad 11 b/g/n Wireless LAN Mini-PCI Express card II for Windows XP - ThinkPad - v1.00.0029.8
    3. Wireless LAN ThinkPad (11bg, 11abg, 11abgn) for Windows XP, 2000 - ThinkPad - 7.6.1.260b

But my Intel PROSet/Wireless WiFi Connection Utility said that the "driver is not installed' even after rebooting.

I also check the Device Manager and noticed that under the NICs only below:

    1. Network adapter 1394
    2. BroadCam NetLink (TM) Gigabit Ethernet

    What could be the problem?

PS: Please note that my wireless was working properly before going through the rescue and recovery.

Waiting for your feedback as soon as possible and thank you very much for your support in advance.

    Kind regards

    Eli

    Welcome to the forum!

What an interesting R500 you have... I'm jealous...

Your ThinkPad as she left the plant:

    P7370 (2 GHz), 2 GB RAM, 320 GB 5400 RPM HD, LCD 15.4 in 1680 x 1050, 128 MB ATI Radeon HD3470, CD-RW/DVD-RW, Intel 802.11agn wireless, Bluetooth, Modem, 1 Gb Ethernet, UltraNav, chip secure, reader of fingerprints, camera, 6 c Li-ion, WinVista Business 32

Even before to contemplate wireless, I would install the chipset driver first.

    It's the good wireless driver:

    http://download.Lenovo.com/ibmdl/pub/PC/pccbbs/mobiles/g1w218ww_x32.exe

After downloading and extracting, you will have to go in C > drivers > win > Wlanint and run the Setup file from there.

The rest of the drivers should be available here:

    http://support.Lenovo.com/en_US/downloads/default.page?

Or, you can install the system update and let him find the missing drivers for you.

    Good luck.
