Envy 15 k200nw: decommissioning of k200nw HP Envy 15 Win10 for Win7 - need direction and drivers!
Hi all good people!
I recently purchased this new HP Envy 15 - k200nw (product no. L0M95EA #AKD) and did my best to get used to Win10 but failed miserably. I just missed a few good ol' ' interface of Windows too so I had demoted him to Win7. And to add insult to injury - has not made a copy of the front swsetup folder. Now the problem is that some things work and some don't. I spent almost all day by browsing this forum and looking for answers, but my level of computer knowledge is not enough to understand all the knowledge and advice and understand it on my own.
I know that I should have some drivers and I have already installed the chipset driver, offered HP Web site.
From what I've observed so far, is that:
-Beats Audio software is no longer in Control Panel and I could not find a driver for my laptop to fix (even if the speakers work)
-Bluetooth seems to be dead, it will not receive files or install drivers for the recently paired devices
-the cooling system is strong as hell and will not calm down
-touchpad gestures (like scrolling movement) would ' t work anymore but I downloaded a driver on the Symantec site and it works now, just a little different
-fingerprint sensor is the death of all
-There is no pop - ups over who to display changes in the level of the volume, brightness, etc. on the screen
Can someone please be so kind and show me the way how to fix these problems or point to a similar thread that I him haven't noticed? I was downloading like crazy drivers, but now there are too many of them and some are not suitable for my hardware but I downloaded them in any case. The collector syndrome
Hello:
I suggest you to reinstall W7 and use the W7 x 64 drivers and the software of the 15 t-k000, except the BIOS and firmware files.
All the drivers you need are here and for your model.

Envy 15 t-j100 Win7 need two remaining drivers downgrade
I got just my Win8.1 OS to Win7 on my new Envy 15 t-j100 Touchsmart. After several hours of poking around in this forum, I found all the drivers except two for the 802.11ac + BlueTooth car. The info is as follows:
BCM20702A0
------------------------
USB\VID_0A5C & PID_21FB & REV_0112
USB\VID_0A5C & PID_21FBNetwork controller
-----------------------
PCI\VEN_14E4 & DEV_43B1 & SUBSYS_2154103C & REV_03
PCI\VEN_14E4 & DEV_43B1 & SUBSYS_2154103C
PCI\VEN_14E4 & DEV_43B1 & CC_028000
PCI\VEN_14E4 & DEV_43B1 & CC_0280I tried the driver on another topic for sp56403.exe, but it does not work - even tried to manually add the drivers into the management control panel - but it wouldn't start the map. I REALLY need of these work as what is a wireless laptop.
Thank you

OK - I solved it finally - took the lid above the bottom of the computer and grabed the mini pci-e card numbers. Did a search and here is the solution I used:
BlueTooth:
Download drivers Lenovo here
http://support.Lenovo.com/en_US/downloads/detail.page?docid=DS029104
The installation will fall, but if you used the Manager device and the update drivers and point to which the extracted software it will install fine
802.11AC
Go to the ASUS here driver page:
http://www.ASUS.com/Networking/PCEAC66/#support_Download_30
Download driver ASUS PCE-AC66 6.30.95.26 file. Extract the files and again use the Device Manager to update the drivers.
Now, everything is fully functional under Windows 7.
Thank you

Downgrade HP Envy 15-k061 for Win7
Hello.
I just bought a HP envy 15-k061, and I'm not a big fan of windows 8.
After some quick internet browsing that I realize downgrade might be easier said than done.
If anyone would be able to post a simple recipe or got some tips no tips, I would be very gratefull =)
WARNING *.
HP does not recommend installing Windows 7 on a consumer computer comes with Windows 8, and it will support the installation of Windows 7. HP doesn't provide drivers for Windows 7 and the appropriate drivers are not available for the hardware in the computer. In addition, Windows 7 can not take in charge some of the hardware or software designed for the computer.
Make sure you create your media recovery HP or USB Flash Recovery discs before you edit or change anything.
Your computer is not eligible for Microsoft's Downgrade rights. You can buy a copy of Windows 7 with a valid COA and the product key.
You will need to DISABLE "Secure Boot" and ENABLE "Legacy Support" in the "Configuration of the BIOS start-up secure" on the settings page similar to what is shown below, until you try to install Windows 7.
After you save the changes, the computer will ask you to confirm the changes... Accept the changes by typing the four digit code and press the ENTER"" key.
If you install from a USB key and see a message of "load a driver - a required CD/DVD drive device is missing", it's because as 'System Configuration' > 'Config USB3.0 in pre-start' is set to 'Enabled '. This should be set to 'Auto '. This should clear up the CD/DVD device is missing.
In addition, as the hard drive is probably partitioned as TPG, you must start using the internal CD/DVD UEFI or UEFI-Key/key USB to install Windows on a GPT-partitioned disk. Turn on or restart the computer and press "F9" or "ESC", then "F9" when prompted. Select the source of boot UEFI you use and you press "ENTER".
I suggest using Windows 7 SP1 for the best installation experience. If you need Windows SP1, see 'How to install Windows 7 without the disc' to download and create your own disc of Windows 7 SP1. If the DVD does not start as UEFI, you may need to use a USB Flash drive (can ask "Quick start" DISABLING in BIOS) as the installation media. Please download the Windows 7 USB/DVD download tool to create a Windows 7 SP1 USB Flash drive. Please note that some computers may not recognize a valid active UEFI USB Flash drive if it is formatted in NTFS and may require only a FAT32 formatted USB Flash drive. You should be able to make a FAT32 formatted Windows 7 installation USB Flash drive using Rufus, UNetbootin, Universal USB Installeror WiNToBootic. I like Rufus, because it contains options for 'Plan of GPT partition for UEFI computer' and 'FAT32'.
From the top...
(1) turn on the computer and immediately start typing the key "ESC".
(2) when the MENU is displayed, press "F10".
3) navigate the BIOS to the "System Configuration", 'USB 3.0 pré-OS Config' and the value 'Auto '.
4) navigate the BIOS to the "System Configuration", "Startup Options" and "Secure Boot" the value 'Legacy Support' the value "Enabled" and "Disabled"
5) press "F10" and click "YES" to "Exit Saving Changes".
(6) computer should restart and display "Change of operating system startup Mode"... type the four digit code, then press "ENTER".
(7) let Windows 8 boot to the top and put the Windows 7 SP1media in the drive to DVD or a USB port, then logout / stop.
(8) to turn on the computer and immediately start typing the key "ESC".
(9) when the MENU is displayed, press the key "F9" and then select the correct boot UEFI source (CD/DVD drive internal, USB drive, CD/DVD, USB Flash drive, etc.). ... Press any key to start the CD/DVD, if prompted.
(10) select "Language", "time / currency ' and 'Keyboard' settings and then click"Next ".
11) click on 'install now '... Check "Accept terms" and click "next". Click on "Custom (Advanced)".
(12) you may need to provide Intel SATA/RAID drivers at the moment... Download Intel RAID Intel® Rapid Storage Technology (Intel® RST) driver , if necessary.
(13) ' where do you want to install Windows 7? Select "Disk / Partition" with "Unallocated space", you created earlier, and then click "next".
(14) follow all instructions and meet the need. Enter the Windows 7 key when asked.
(15) please see the page of drivers PC laptop HP ENVY 15-k061no (assuming that the model is correct) for the most part, the 64 - bit Windows 7 drivers.
After installing the drivers, please post the "Hardware ID" Device Manager (text only) for all other devices missing or unknown as illustrated in the example below.
If you have any other questions, feel free to ask.
Please click the 'Thumbs Up' white LAURELS to show your appreciation

Please can you help me - I turned my cell phone Envy in to an expensive paper weight, after (below) the upgrade of Windows 8.1 at 10 - I hated it and decided that I must return to 7Pro as I want to join the domain and want to install VMware etc.
I made the plunge and left me without back that all the important factors are missing, including USB, NETWORK interface integrated hubs & wireless - the machine has no DVD player and it won't recognize not flash or SD - ports USB card readers but work for dongle wireless keyboard and mouse.
Not too sure where to go now - any ideas?

HP Envy m6 1183 for example: stuttering mouse after upgrade to Windows 10
After the upgrade of Windows 8.1 for Windows 10 my mouse is "stuttering". With stuttering I don't mean lag but changes of symbol like 3 times every second from the normal pointer to a pointer with the blue loading ring and back. If I want for example to rename a file, once I typed in some letters it also marks all the text, so I have to restart. Another example is when I want to move a window, it automatically turns its back to the original position, so I have to take baby steps to move.
I use a HP Envy m6 1183, for example, the product number is C2C05EA #ABD
If you have HP SimplePass installed, try the following:
1. launch HP SimplePass
2. click on settings (the train to the upper right)
3. remove the check mark next to "LaunchSite.
4. click OK, then close HP SimplePass
If this does not resolve the problem, then there probably another background process causing flicker. You can open (Ctrl + Alt + Delete on the Windows desktop) Task Manager and under the "treatments" tab to see if something is constantly causing CPU activity (look at the percentages in the CPU column). If so, you can emphasize this topic and click "End task" to see if the cursor will stop blinking. If Yes, you can then Google the name of the process to try to know what piece of software it is bound to, and then see if there are any available updates or uninstall the software, if it's something you have no use for.

Hello everyone, I really need someone who could help me get an image file (ROM or BIN) bios for my laptop HP dv6-7204AX ENVY.
For some reason, after that cleaning my fan cpu and everything put back toghether I had accidentally damaged the bios, because the electric sock, that's what the tech guy said :-(
My computer is now automatically power on whenever I plug the adapter and nothing start (only caps lock led flashing continuously1time and black screen)
Thank you
Hello kieuminhuy... I'm sorry that you are having this problem with your ENVY dv6!
kieuminhuy, you can go to the page of downlopad 7200 WANT dv6 to download and run the SoftPAQ BIOS proper. You do not have to run this SoftPAQ on the failed system - it should work on any system! When you run the SoftPAQ, chose the option to copy the image file of the BIOS to another location (see below).
I hope this helps!

Want to 4500 printer all-in-one: new software and drivers for HP Envy 4500
Hello, I bought this printer on 1 October and installed on my laptop Windows 10. Should I download and install this because I've had since October 2015 printer? If so do I have to do something after the installation to keep my printer working correctly on my WIFI wireless? Thanks in advance for any help that I couldn't find out how call HP to ask this question.
Thank you very much for your answer! I finally understood how do I know what version of the software and the drivers, I have this morning and I don't have the version more recent and even I was wondering about. Thanks again and have a great Thanksgiving action!

Envy of HP dv7 - 7373ca: lack of device drivers Window 7 64
I have leveled down Windows 8 for Windows 7 Professional with success and that you have downloaded all current Windows updates available at this time. I downloaded all the drivers from the HP support for this computer site (HP Envy dv7 - 7373 ca) successfully with the exception of the Nvidia Geforce GT driver HP which gives me an error indicating "file intel requires.
When I open the device (see above) Manager, I have five "other devices" that have no drivers and one of the two adapters without driver. I searched HP forums, web, updates of drivers intel and Microsoft Updates for the drivers, nothing works. Please provide a link to the drivers required to use all the above listed features above to be dysfunctional.
Finally, the touchpad when typing is extremely annoying! Breast of Windows 7, is it possible to disable it?
Hello:
You can use all the W7 x 64 drivers and software by the dv7t-7000 on your model, except the BIOS and firmware files.
To install the graphics drivers first install the driver Intel chipset installation utility first and then restart. Which will also install the smbus controller.
Then, install the Intel HD graphics driver and restart.
Then, install the graphics driver nvidia and restart.
