  My Samsung laptop has a "Fn lock" keys just above of the + key.  I pressed it and it solved the problem you describe.

  I finally found it after a day or two to deal with 0 menu key.

  I've seen other people talk about that here on this site, and in all cases so far, it's the "fn lock" or "function" on their keyboard (usually a laptop keyboard).  The zero key is used for anything else until you disable the lock feature.

  Today, I noticed that my keypad does not work. The keys / *-+ and 'Enter' works, but the actual number will not.

  I just had a Satellite P500 and am running Windows 7. I downloaded all the latest drivers and updated the system BIOS to version 1.70 (from Toshiba support website). Now, my numeric keypad of the keyboard does not work.

  The NumLock light is on and when I hit the key "6" on the pavement, he turns the power light, but the behavior of the other keys does not change that it is on or off. The '-' key to enter a '6', but none of the other keys (except "enter" does nothing.

• Some controls of the Photo effects does not

  I just bought 11 elements for MacOS, and I'm unable to get some of the controls to work in the section Photo effects.  A grand is in the 'Old Fashioned Photo' effect, where I can't 'Adjust the tone' for work.  When I click the button, the cursor runs for a split second, the button is highlighted, then when I move the mouse the button it is unchecked.  No setting command is.  The same thing in 'Levels' button in the effect of the "line of demarcation", no control appears.  By clicking on 'Levels' several times does not change the line resistance, either.

  It supposed to be setting the level controls, and if not, because by clicking on them, doesn't matter, how am I supposed to get the effects?

  In guided Edit, these buttons apply some default effects. For example, the levels button you mentioned above, makes a little darker lines. What you will see will depend on your image. The effect is applied in some quantity by default, but can be which is not differentiable on the image that you use. It is the same with setting the tone button.

  In order to change the levels of the image, you can explicitly guided change in editing levels.

There is also a card I can buy known as PCMIA card that will give me 2 additional USB ports. It's cheap enough to give it a try.

  Very strange... I just opened a project in Speedgrade. When I started working, I noticed that the keys of the numeric keypad do not work. In addition, the changes made with the mouse are delayed. • Numeric keypad is not working properly with the Adobe Reader Plugin

  Greetings;

  I had this strange problem with several workstations where the numeric keypad does not work correctly when you open a PDF file via the web browser. Things, I tested and noted:

  -Regardless of the State of the numlock (or disable) keys act as if NUMLOCK is off. Based on 9 and 3 will cause the page up and page down respectively. Striking at 7-4 will cause beginning and end to occur etc. 0 creates the ~ while the symbol of the keys work as expected.

  -The numeric keypad works on other programs. The numeric keypad works even in the same browser, you opened the PDF file but not in the actual form.

  -The numeric keypad works if you save and open the same PDF file in Adobe Reader, but does not work with the plugin.

  -Seems not to matter of this PDF it is, regardless of who seem to have made it (I used PDF files from the DMV and other sites of the Government for tests). The problem persists despite everything.

  -It doesn't seem to matter what browser you use. I saw this happen to IE10, IE11 (32 or 64-bit), and Chrome. I have tried Firefox, but I imagine that the problem will be the same if you are using the Adobe Reader Plugin.

  -It does not matter what version of the player. I saw the same problem with drive DC 10 and 11.

  -J' ran these without any add-ons or plug-ins and the problem persists.

  -J' I reset the browser settings, reset the default values, cleared the cache.

  -Disconnect the keyboard and moving to a different USB port allows you to use the numeric keypad as usual, but once you restart the issue will resume.

  -Uninstall and reinstall the keyboard driver allows you to use the numeric keypad as usual, but once you restart the issue will resume.

  -J' tried the official and generic keyboard drivers.
  

  -J' tried different keyboards from different manufacturers.

  -PDF viewer of Chrome or another Viewer PDF/writer will work. But unfortunately, this isn't a solution for us because of the site we access performs a check if the plugin is Adobe Reader. If it's not Adobe Reader, it does not display the PDF file.

  -J' have enabled Mode Touch in Reader.

  -I was not able to test this on one other operating system other than Windows 7 Pro 64 bit.

  -I can put it so the browser opens the PDF file directly to the Adobe Reader app, it's not quite a solution perfect for us because it create additional steps for our users to submit PDF files.

  Fixed my own problem. I answer this with a resolution:

  The question is the Protected Mode. You can find this setting in Adobe Reader. Preferences > Security > uncheck Protected Mode. In Adobe Reader X, you can find it under general.

  You don't need to restart your system.
